More details of the successor to the mildly popular Sony ericsson Vivaz handset, the Vivaz 2, have appeared in a preview carried out in Russia by Mobile-review.
The ,phone known as Hallon and carries the Xperia brand, is scheduled to be launched in the first half of 2011. The first difference is that
Sony ericsson has replaced the Symbian OS with Android 2.3.1 (Gingerbread)[ manthoppppppppp ] and MediaScape is no longer here although TimeScape remains.
Mobile-review says that the phone is "a well balanced and skillful device, something that we had not seen from Sony ericsson for a long time now." even if the model tested was actually a pre-production model.
The screen comes with a
3.2-inch ( 3.2 inci je ke...alahai...naprlah tak buat terus 3.5 atau 4.0 " ) capacitive touchscreen with one of the highest screen resolution on the market (480x854 pixels). That places it just behind Apple'sRetina display and ahead of HTC and Motorola's latest handsets with a pixel density of 306ppi ( Iphone 4 does 330).
It does come with a Qualcomm MSM7630 system-on-chip clocked at up to 1024MHz ( ![](static/image/smiley/default/pompom.gif) )and packs the Adreno 205 GPU which should provide up to twice the performance of the Adreno 200 found on older Xperia handsets.
Other specifications include 512MB RAM, 300MB onboard storage, Wi-Fi, USB, Bluetooth, a rather big 1500mAh ( ada kemajuan skit.....Kapasiti/kuasa bateri agak power )..battery, an 8-megapixel ( kan ke cer kalau 12mp terus.... )camera which uses the EXMOR sensor, the same as the ARC/X12, a front facing one as well as a LED flash.
