Tiada bukti Vitamin B17 sembuhkan kanser

MELAKA 17 Ogos - Persatuan Kanser Kebangsaan Malaysia (NCSM) menegaskan masih belum ada bukti saintifik bahawa nutrien terpenting dalam biji aprikot iaitu Amygdalin atau Laetrile yang juga dikenali sebagai Vitamin B17 mampu menyembuhkan kanser.



Ketua Pegawai Perubatan Pusat Saringan Kesihatan NCSM, Dr. Dalilah Kamaruddin berkata, masalah timbul pada hari ini apabila Vitamin B17 serta beberapa produk lain telah dihebahkan kepada masyarakat bahawa ia bagus dalam merawat penyakit berkenaan.


Bagaimanapun menurutnya, NCSM tidak pernah mengeluarkan kenyataan atau menyokong bahawa produk tersebut baik untuk pesakit kanser selagi belum ada bukti saintifik terhadap keberkesanannya.




"Justeru, kami di NSCM menyeru kepada pesakit-pesakit kanser untuk mendapatkan nasihat daripada pakar onkologi atau doktor terlebih dahulu sebelum mengambil sebarang produk mengandungi Vitamin B17," katanya ketika ditemui pemberita selepas program tahunan Relay For Life Malaysia 2014 di Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Padang Temu di sini semalam.



Majlis yang disertai kira-kira 2,000 peserta termasuk pesakit yang berjaya melawan kanser itu dirasmikan Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Penerangan, Komunikasi dan Koperasi negeri, Datuk Latiff Tamby Chik.
Yang hadir sama, Naib Presiden NCSM, Clare Ratnasingham.



Jelas Dalilah, pesakit kanser juga perlu mendapatkan nasihat sama sebelum menggunakan pelbagai lagi produk yang dikatakan mampu merawat kanser termasuk beri acai dan jus delima.


Katanya, nasihat daripada pakar perubatan amat penting kerana sel badan pesakit kanser tidak stabil dan dikhuatiri akan menyebabkan kesan sampingan melalui pengambil produk tambahan tersebut.



"Sehingga kini, cara perubatan biasa seperti radioterapi dan kemoterapi masih merupakan rawatan terbaik dalam usaha menyembuhkan penyakit kanser," jelasnya.


Sementara itu Clare memberitahu, program selama 16 jam bermula dari pukul 6 petang kelmarin dipenuhi dengan pelbagai aktiviti menarik termasuk sesi aerobik, yoga ketawa dan Survivors Lap bagi meraikan kira-kira 100 pesakit kanser yang berjaya melawan penyakit berkenaan.



"Program yang memasuki tahun keempat itu akan terus dilaksanakan NCSM di negeri-negeri lain termasuk Kuantan, Pahang dan Ipoh, Perak pada tahun depan dalam usaha meningkatkan kesedaran orang ramai terhadap kanser selain membantu mengumpul dana persatuan," ujarnya.

saya sgt setuju.. laetrile ni bukan vitamin, cuma some internet sites je panggil vitamin b17; ni mandelonitrile beta glucuronide; sesapa yg belajar pharmacology tau la glucuronide tu apa. if ada vitamin je yg dapat ubatkan cancer, maka takde lah guna nya oncologists selama ni

B17 memang tak der clinical trial. Yang ada clinical trial, try  search SEVO Penawar Kanser Alternative kat FB. Yang ni ada clinical trial dan memang widely prescribed kat Japan.

thank you Arnauld for your link, it is sobering to know that a present-day book can fetch RM10,000k. overall however, i tak confident dengan materials yang tak diguna in mainstream Medicine. The Medical community, much like the Airline Industries, regulates itself very stringently due to the the impact of what we say or do to the general public. Even a tablet as simple and straight forward as paracetamol (it is not actually simple!) have been well studied, just so that we know its safety and efficacy.

i am not able to give any positive opinion for use of germanium. if it can treat cancer, hey presto!, we would have all been rich and nobody will die so painfully; alas, 1 in 3 of the western population will die of cancer.

Something about the author, "A native of Korea, Dr. Yang Hwan Oh holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry from Harvard Medical School.  A retired professor who taught at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Dr. Oh is a member of both the America Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and the New York Academy of Sciences" so this is no mlm crap!
Actually it is being used in mainstream medicine, but in japan and some private hospitals in the usa. Last year I went to a private hospital in Japan and had a long talk with the doctor there.

Eventhough this solution has been long in used in japan, but to the western world, this is still a breakthrough. Reading University has just completed a pharmacological research on this in 2011. You can check it out here. http://biohorizons.oxfordjournals.org/content/4/2/128.full

Biasa la kitakan xcolony, kalau UK tak tahu, kita pun tak tahu, nanti UK dah guna baru kita nak recognize.

in the medical world, there is constant searches for treatment especially of cancers; I will never dispute others opinions, but truly, if it an cure cancer, really all over the world cancer deaths can be reduced. this is not the case.

USA, and other leading countries in oncology, will never ignore a use of any material if it can cure a terrible disease such as cancer.
I made a mistake to say that 1 in 3 will die of cancer; its 1 in 3 will GET cancer. many cancers are not fatal eg skin BCC, skin SCC etc etc.

My wife is an Oncologist and she is going to Madrid tomorrow for a 5 day-conference (and I have to mind the kids!) and she does this all the time (going to ASCO, ESMO and various others year in year out) and truly, this B17 have not taken off yet. We doctors will never withhold a treatment regime that can help any patient.

Don't worry about ex-colony and UK knowledge etc; medical communications are not bounded by these (tho ifestyle, mass opinion and ideations might)

Meang takde bukti, dah berdekad org dok citer; org yg promotekan benda ni adalah penjual penjual products Vitamin B17 ni.
Also, B17 ni bukan vitamin pon.
Ramai org promote kerana B17 ni bukan ubat, jadi, org biasa pon boleh jual.
Ubat ubat canser di hospital ni takde sornag pon org yg non-doctor promotes..sebab depa promote pon takleh untung kat depa.
U takkan dengr org kata ooo mae sure accept doctor nak administer 5FU kat u, or make sure u accept tacrolimus, sunitinib, tamoxifen etc etc.
