how to decypher the file without having an authorised certificate??

salam...

i hope i am in the rite place to seek solutions..aku ade proble dalam bukak file..ok let me make this clear and probably u guys ( for those who are computer wise) can sort this out..

1..aku ade external hard diSk yang aku dah beli lame dan aku gune tu untuk simpan semua movie yang aku donlod..dan dah ade 300 movie dalam tu...

2..dalam pada tu..dulu laptop aku selalu ade masalah...jadi aku pun reformat la komputr aku ni beberape kali...dah nak dekat 10 kali ...plus dengan virus yang menjangkiti laptop aku ni...

3..tapi hari tu..untuk ke sekian kali nye aku reformat...aku pun try la bukak aku nye external harddisk tu..unfortunately..dalam bebenyak file muvi dalam tu..cume 2-3 muvi je boleh tengok..yang lain semua tak le..die tulis "access is denied"

4..ape yang aku peratikan..file muvi yang boleh tengok..tulisannye warne itam whereas yang tak leh warne ijau..( ni ade kene mengena ke)

5..aku pun try la cek2 rupenye2 file yang kaler ijau tu has been encyphered by the admin dan hanya user terdahulu je boleh bukak..aku ade try nak decypher balik file tu tapi tak leh sebab aku nye komputer certificate is not trusted by authorities store bla bla...ni je yang aku pasan..

6..so guys..sape2 yang tau nak solve kan masalah ni...plz...aku rase rugi nak buang semua muvi tu...dah lah 2/3 dari 300 muvi tu aku tak tengok lagi...hehehe..

encyphered & decypher? encrypted tu aku tau la. kalo guna windows NT/XP mmg camtu. ada encyption dan compress option.

file tu aku rasa protected oleh user account. payah sikit le nk story. cuba recovery software.
aku biasa guna active@uneraser. boleh scan, recover balik file tu. tapi kena ambik file tu keluar dari external harddisk (save ke harddisk lain).

atau ko leh cuba guna software lain.

hmmm... ni memang payah sebab you dah lost original efs cerfificate untuk user yang encrypt file tu, unless you make recovery agent masa tu. recreating the same exact user profile won't do it. try-lah cara bzzts tu. if i'm not mistaken, you can't move nor copy the encrypted data at all. so, as far as oobi know, it's a gone case. but, please update if you're successful.

oobi...exactly what u said..memang tak leh wat pape...tu yang nak buang muvi2 tu rase ralat...pepenat donlod..dah lah banyak tak tengok lagi
