About windows themes and how to install

1. Download the theme patcher from Softpedia >>Click here<<.
2. Unzip with WinRar or WinZip to your desktop.
3. Install the patcher. (you have to read instructions carefully)
4. Reboot your computer after and you're done!
5. Next, chose a theme at any of the sites below and download to your desktop.
6. Unzip (using WinRar/Winzip) and extract to C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes
7. Then right click on Desktop, then Properties, then go to Appearance tab
8. Dropdown the Windows and Buttons menu and pick the theme you want.
9. Enjoy!

huhuhu..tahun 2001/2002 aku rajin benar tukau theme cara ni..masa study banyak masa lah nak mencantikkan windows

anyway..aku dah ingat lupa cara manual ni..thanks bro!

Personally aku tak guna ni sebab semua skins ni takleh letak windows nyer control buttons (min, max, close) kat belah kiri - Windowblinds jer boleh. But for most Windows nyer users, this is a good and free alternative to skinning. Nanti bila ada masa, aku nak post more free modding/skinning apps kat sini.

Dulu aku pakai DesktopX tu ... tapi lepas tu aku sedar the only thing yang aku benar2 nak atas desktop aku (selain taskbar) is analog clock, calendar and dock (ala OSX). DesktopX tak power bila bab dock tu and takleh buat animation exactly cam dock software lain. So aku guna RK Launcher for dock. Then calendar2 dia pun tak feature-rich... so aku guna Rainlendar. Tinggal analog clock jer - tak justify guna DesktopX sebab berat - so aku guna AveDesk sekejap lepas tu switch ke Yahoo! Widgets untuk tu.

Tapi bestnyer DesktopX is lepas ko dah buat skin/app ko boleh save it as an .exe. Kasi semua orang guna and takyah install DesktopX. Which is what my current analog clock is - a DesktopX-made .exe.
