To install WinXP but can't find HDD in XP Setup ?? (OS)

hdd problem tuh...kalo baru beli..baik antar kat kedai...masih waranti tuh..tukar hd...sbb kalo ko bukaka hdd tu sendri..kang batal lak waranti...

kalo tak pun..ko try tekan F2 dulu..tgk dalam BIOS...ada tak detek hdd tuh...kal odpt detek lam bios..sepatutnyeh lah la detek masa na install windows tuh..

but aku rasa bukan masalah HDD laa..
ni memang driver HDD kena install baru boley continue OS installation..

aku rasa the best is kalau ada kengkawan yg beli notebook sama and dapat CD XP complete ngan HDD driver ni build in packagee..... huhuhuuhuuu

you boleh buat sendiri bootable cd tu, and add hd driver. oobi guna nlite; copy wxp cd to your hd (on working computer) - tak copy pun tak pe, download sata driver for the hd. then, use nlite to add the driver to wxp, create image and burn (oobi ingat-ingat lupa). you can even configure computer name, admin password, etc. before creating the image (embed sekali dalam image tu).

aku tukar SATA Mode dari AHCI ke IDE dalam bios..

pastu aku boleh install XP macam biasa..

install linux atau vista dulu, dah siap, baru format, install xp plak... hehe...

cara biasa, install sata driver je dulu.

thanks for your info, agree wiz u, but unfortunately, there is no such option in the bios setup. might be different model diff BIOS setupp.. this model bios setup really less option... donno why...

vista mmg ada driver sata. linux pun leh auto detect-load-mount sata.

harap2 m.$oft buat xp SP3 siap dgn sata driver.

now ni aku struggling utk install driver lakss...
HP nyer website ada driver tapi tak dapat install driver gakk...

aku rasa ni welknown problem for compaq notebook to install OS XP..

still searchingg... worse case.. install asta la vista gamaknyerrr...

hdd tu brand apa? cek kat bios.
ko gi website pengilang, download utility dia.
kalo buleh cari yg bootable cd. mungkin cara ni ko buleh format hddisk dari bootcd tu saja.

kalu tkde bootcd utility dari pengilang, ko cari bootcd utility dari 3rd party.

kegunaan : format hddisk, repair hddisk, prtition, master boot record, etc...
