Actually tropics is just as bad cos the moisture makes the carbon heavy and sticky. Thats why Singapore dropped M16.
However I think the SAR21 has its own problems too. It jams a lot as well. Mindef had better solve this problem fast. |

Err I thought the M16 that Sg used is made to be operated in tropical environment since every Sg-made military equipment is manufactured that way (incl. ST-made, license-manufactured M16)?

Hehehe ni kan sema marketing gimmick..orang yang dah biasa pakai tahu macam mana panas darah somtimes. Tapi they will also learn tips and tricks how to prevent equipment cock ups too.. |
