my son would occasionally scratch his ear due to perhaps itchiness.
i sometimes use cotton bud to clean the insides of his ear. i've been doing this since he was 1 year old.
he would sit very still or lie on his back while i clean his ear. i have read in magazine recently that sometimes injury can happen if we clean children's ear with cotton bud and i'm worried if i may hurt his ear drum.
is there any way i can find out and should i stop using cotton bud?
please advice. his hearing is fine so far and he's now 2+ years old.
