i juz love irish writers...they wrote so detailed, as if you were in the situation they describe...u can feel the ambiance...

the new one: Frank McCourt, already had all his book (3 je pun!) heheheh :D

yeap...mmg pun...this is the pic taken in Galway, Ireland.....

the language at the bottom of the pic is Gaelic - the national language kat Ireland, but spoken language kat sini almost 75-90 % English...cuma orang tua n orang kat pedalaman jer yg still speaks Gaelic...



eire are so full of great author - W.B Yeats, James Joyce., George Bernard Shaw,...and yes, who wouldn't know - John Banville....

kat book shops kat dublin ni merata ade namer dier....heboh psl dier dpt booker prize for his book - The Sea...will add his book to my list....

i'll just suggest Wilde..coz he's the only one i know...and his works are great..

and hey..eire's not just famous  for their lit..(which are very2 fabulous, and amazing..), but their artists(singers..)  as well - the likes of Enya..(who's my fav...), U2, The Cranberries, and so many more....but kalu kat sini dah muak dgr - buka tv asyik kua muka THE CORRS, THE CORRS, xpun, WESTLIFE....mmg kebanggan diorang giler...ff:

oh.. me suke maeve binchy walaupun tak baca semua bukunya.. i read novellas (cerita maeve binchy yang pendek-pendek tu).. cerita dia selalu berkisar mengenai hubungan keluarga terutamanya.. no expilicit sex or whatsoever, mesti rasa syahdu jer..

dia mmg suka betul tekankan hubungan kekeluargaan

Yes, i like her to.... ari tu i read firefly summer... once i grab the book, tak letak dah.... smpai tak tido mlm, punyer ler excited nak tau ending..... smpai hb & kids pon bengang jer...
