John Titor was the name used for a purported time traveller from the year 2036 that posted on several time travel-related Internet bulletin boards during 2000/2001, making many ambiguous predictions about events in the near future and giving an account of his supposed native time period.

The postings claimed Titor to be a serving soldier who was assigned to a government time travel project. He was supposedly sent from 2036 back to 1975 to retrieve an IBM 5100 computer which he claimed was needed to "debug" various legacy computer programs in 2036. The postings also described various future events between 2005 and 2037, including World War III (predicted for 2015) followed by two decades of recovery.

One such prediction, which seems eerily prescient today, notes the escalating conflict between Arabs and Jews as being a harbinger of World War III: "Real disruptions in world events begin with the destabilization of the West as a result of degrading US foreign policy and consistency. [...] The Jewish population in Israel is not prepared for a true offensive war. They are prepared for the ultimate defense. Wavering western support for Israel is what gives Israel's neighbors the confidence to attack. The last resort for a defensive Israel and its offensive Arab neighbors is to use weapons of mass destruction. In the grand scheme of things, the war in the Middle East is a part of what's to come, not the cause."

-Third World War in 2015, a gradual global escalation that was ended by Russia bombing American, European and Chinese cities.

-John suggests "avoiding Washington DC" at approximately 3:45am, March 12, 2015.

-Sometime before this point (referred to as "N-Day" )  China forcefully annexes Japan, Korea and Taiwan.

-Australia successfully repels a Chinese invasion.

-The war kills over 3 billion people.

He allegedly departed  to his native year 2036 on March 2001.Dia banyak tinggal gambar-gambar...termasuk gambar dari 2036.Yang paling menarik gambar penyelia dia sinarkan satu laser beam yang membengkok kerana tarikan gravity yang kuat (some sort like black hole effect...even light wil be distorted and can never escape it's gravity.In a black hole,there's no such concept of time and space)

Dari segi teori,theoretically we can travel to the future (from Einstein relativity)..if you move closer to the speed of light,you will see people/event outside your spacecraft (i.e on earth)  move very quickly...they aged faster relative to you.

But to move backward in time,it is almost impossible. "Grandfather paradox" suggested that we could never travel back in time.Banyak discussion telah dibuat berkenaan kewujudan John Titor...and until this particular time,no satisfying results ever been achieved.

timetravel_0: Wow...that's a big question. There is a civil war in the United States that starts in 2005. That conflict flares up and down for 10 years. In 2015, Russia launches a nuclear strike against the major cities in the United States (which is the "other side" of the civil war from my perspective), China and Europe . The United States counter attacks. The US cities are destroyed along with the AFE (American Federal Empire)...thus we (in the country) won. The European Union and China were also destroyed. Russia is now our largest trading partner and the Capitol of the US was moved to Omaha Nebraska .
