minggu lepas Cyber CAfe saya ade org SMM datang. http://www.smm.net.my

diorang claims diorang ade kuasa utk licence game2 blizzard dan siera   so diorang nak kene kan cas monthly   saya rase smm ni tipu je, takpernah saya dengar ade license bulanan, biase saya purchase skali bayar jela, ape plak kene bayar bulan2 kat diorang ni?

adekah geng2 http://www.smm.net.my/ berdiri disebalik mafia2 kat bertapak kat lowyat tu? geng2 tonto dan kongsi gelap?

tu la. time die dtg tu budak2 saya yg jaga   klu saya ade tau la camne saya nak jawab. tak masuk akal, sebulan nak kene bayar sampai 1300.00 kat diorang ni. mcm ufti la plak   kalu ade 100 CC yg bayar kat diorang, da brape diorang collect?

Business Software Alliance nih la yg jadi penguatkuasa dlm membanteras software2 lanun. diorang patut ada database pasal software berbayar, berlesen dan sbgainya.

takpun, kalo refer web page ni : http://www.smm.net.my/agent.html ko boleh kontek opis diorang dan tanya bebetol cemana. pastuh ko bleh refer kat BSA betol ke diorang leh wat camtuh.

Pendapat aku SMM tu ada kuasa nak jual licence untuk software2/games tu jer... tapi takde hak nak police licensing - tu kerja BSA. Kalau ko guna pirated software SMM tu, habis2 kuat diaorang boleh buat is buat report ke BSA atau ke polis.

Bunyi cam diaorang ni nak datang kutip duit sogok/protection money jer and aku rasa bukan dari SMM.

software tu blizard dan seira yg punye, tp smm claims diorang ade kuasa nak kutip yuran bulanan. aku beli cd windows pun sekali bayar da ble gune sampai bile2, tak tau lak warcraf dan dota kene bayar bulan2

pastu die cakap, kalu saya tak mau bayar, mereka takkan saman, tp mereka akan rampas sume pc saya

ko repot polis la dulu. mintak polis check betol ke diorang ada kuasa wat camtu. selagi tak sahih ko kena bayar, jangan bayar. cek jugak ngan web page atas tuh, betol ke nama2 yg datang tempat ko tu bebetol dari opis diorang. kalo boleh, tanya kontek number utk opis kL.

dalam ni ada ckp pasal licensing awrded pada SMM nih. tapi takde pun kata kena bayar brapa atau secara bulanan ke... etc. tapi bawah tu ada kontek number dan alamat pejabat kL - jalan imbi je.

if your software is legal, then there are two scenarios you need to consider:

1. pre-smm
- if you got the sotware pre-smm, check if the agreement smm received cover anything prior to the agreement. if it is, talk to smm on how to resolve this issue. also, check your licensing agreement.

2. post smm
- if you got the software post-smm, then you really need to talk to them to resolve this issue.

again, talk to them directly. go to their office. don't talk or deal with somebody that comes to your cafe. check your agreement when you bought the software whether it's for home or public (business) use. don't take licensing issue lightly. licensing software for business use is quite complicated. at home, we can get away by installing one software on multiple computers (for example, office suite). at business, you can't do that. each station needs its own license (of course, depends on the license agreement of the manufacturer).
