ya, sorry.. me too. ive nv been there. izzit somewhere located in or near indo? correct me if i'm wrong. well, since this is a travel corner.. i shall talk abt where i wanna go. -VIETNAM!!- hahax.. i wanna go there badly. anyone haf been there?

lombak is in indonesia.dia berdekatan ngan bali.in bali most of them are hindus,pat matz travel in bali, tour guide bawak matz pass a muslim village tapi matz  tak turun kampung.dia punya sawah padi yang kat mountain memang jambu.a sight to behold.
lombok pulak most of the people there are muslims.matz still surfing the net for more info.but they say you can find bali in lombok,but you cannot find lombok in bali.lombok belum commercialize sangat.matz suka tempat yang
laid back gitu.belum di kacau arus pembangunan.

anyone with travel stories please contribute,we boleh share information kat sini.please jangan malu jangan segan....please contribute...many thanks

sut thanks for the suggestion.matz cuma selalu masok kat sini aja,yang lain belum check out lagi.tadi matz went thru the posting best jugak lah.matz ni dari kecik2  suka tengok programme travel and culture.my uncle is a sailor.kalau dia balik singapore selalu cerita pasal luar negeri.matz fascinated lah.

my first trip:

ni cerita,many years back.ni hari jumaat.sabelum matz went for friday prayers matz went for lunch.kat kedai pulak matz nampak this foreign worker macam bangladesh gitu,dia nak makan tapi tak cukup duit.dia tunjukkan duit one dollar to the pekedai,dia nak beli bungkus.pekedai macam marah lah,mana ada nasi bungkos one dollar.matz tengok dia kesian,dia menyangkong kat tepi longkang.lepas matz makan,kasi dia $2.matz cakap you eat.malam pulak ada company punya dinner and dance....matz dapat ticket first prize to san francisco.matz tolong orang tak seberapa,cuma kasi insan makan nasi bungkos $2.00,tuhan pulak balas matz dengan tikit  kapalterbang yang berharga $1750.that first trip, matz stop over kat jepun,lepas ka hawaii for a couple of days.after that fly ka LA,went to mexico for day trip and last ka san francisco.dulu tikit kapalterbang mahal.kita jangan lupa tolong orang
yang kurang kemampuan.ni hari dia orang,hari kita siapa yang tahu.

from then onwards matz selalu simpan duit and go for travel.matz ni very simple guy lah....tak ada kereta,tak ada rumah besar,handphone pun tak ada.handphone cuma pakai pre paid card.matz punya pakai dah belas tahun ngan matz.hidup matz ni  kira2 macam frugal.matz punya luxury is travel and buffet dinner and lunch..

bestnyer ngko nak ke lombok! as a suggestion if u wanna find info..u can go to virtualtourist.com...webpage ni cam forum..u can interact with tourist lain yg pernag gi tempat tu...coz dats where i go to get info on KL...hehehe :bg:

seafoamgreen.matz ni dulu hidup susah sikit lah,masih kecik2 dulu parents tak pernah bawak matz for holiday.tak mampu i think,hidup pun tak mewah tapi alhamdulilah, basic needs ada.maybe becoz matz grow up struggling,
matz learn to be cermat sikit.matz pernah hidup susah,jadi dah besar pandai2 lah dengan my finances.my colleagues pakai jeans branded2 example like armani,polo,calvin klein,matz pulak buy kat serangoon road.itu hari beli jeans original brand PEPE only for $5.00.ada sikit defect ,tapi tak nampak
sangat.matz is not a perfectionist....can manage with this kind of things.
ni banyak budget airlines coming up kat singapore....save money sikit....
nanti boleh travel.

but i think ur one of the lucky ones..the hardship u experienced when ur younger made u  a better person rite..not taking things for granted..like some of us...

dulu2 sekali, asia magazine beli sunday times dapat free.matz will cut out and file the travel tips and tales.memang shiok tengok orang travel2 kat tv.
mutu ...lonely planet,michael palin are good travel programmes.dia ada lagi satu tall white guy with a hat,yang  macam orang australia pakai,tak remember nama dia,dia punya programm pun bagus,normally around 7 or 8 pm on cable tv.he normally bawak his nikon camera with the long lens.matz very engross tengok orang punya culture and their way of life.kita tinggal in concrete jungle dia orang pulak living in the jungle itself.

gua every year attend  D&D pun, tak penah dapat tiket kapalterbang.
(cuma dapat kipas angin yg tak berjenama je)

dapat  $1750.i think five years back,matz dapat travel voucher worth $1400.
matz punya kawan tak mau pergi,matz kata matz going .....best seh dapat lagi,matz sold the travel voucher for $1000. rezeki tuhan kasi,jangan lupa kita tolong orang yang tidak berkemampuan.last few years pulak,prize for dinner and dance tak kick sangat,,,,anyway matz tak leh complain....apa yang matz dapat dulu, matz telah banyak punya bersukur.

tadi tengok si kumar dia travel kat bali.shiok seh.last couple of weeks dia kat thailand.fyi this programme is on channel 05, ni tamil show with english sub titles.
