thanks dexa.. i also love to share my experience with all of you. dexa. Thanks and glad when you correct my sentence. this is what i need to improve my english. I'm very appreciate what had you done..
what had i learned in last IELTS class was how to write an essay in both of task. I also learned about discourse markers either in speech or writing, linking word, contrast.. and all the technique and trick to answer in IELTS..
some of the discourse markers such as
Futhermore, moreover, and, also, in addition, besides that, another, What is more, Not only that, on top of that -- is showing addition
for an example --- On top of that ---> The goverment raised the price of petrol. On top of that, they increased the toll rates.
Futhermore ----> She is wirting a book. Futhermore, she is editing a magazine.
So, Consequenly, Hence - is showing results
For an example ---- Consequently ---> They played in the sun for a long time; consequently, they were exhausted.
Hence -->The Ekspress Rakyat is a comfortable and fast train; hence, many people use it
But, On the contrary, Yet, However, Nevertheless, On the other hand, In contrast - showing Opposition
For an example --- On the contrary ---> She doesn't hate vegetables. On the contrary, she enjoys eating vegetable salads.
Yet ----> He is a happy man, yet he seldom smiles.
Nevertheless --> Fast food are bad for health. Nevertheless, they are very popular.
In like manner - is showing similarity
example -- When you visit another country, you should try to learn the culture of the people. In like manner, when other people visit Malaysia, they should try to understand our way of life.
\
Actually, they has a lot of discourse markers to make sure our writing or speaking become more interesting.
sorry if there have any mistake..

i think abortion and miscarriage is the same meaning..
but, when i check in dictionary it is different meaning...
abortion is 'pengguguran' and miscarriage is 'keguguran'...
so.. i must make correction on my statement..
'i had a miscarriage when i was six month pregnant'
so... i am miscarriage not abortion!
my english like standard one![](static/image/smiley/default/mad.gif) |
