ai naik AAX je.. ai tak pernah AAX utk long haul flight lg.. nak test nnt. First flight ai akan ke tianjin.. tapi tu 6 hours je... mesti sakit montot kot tapi tak kesah la janji murah sikit 
Yg berry pi London tu total dpt RM1,815. Add meals and luggage maybe dlm RM2k la kot. Still murah lagi.. utk berry seorang ok kots since i travel light2 je.. ceh... tapii balik sure banyak barang... haha.. eee tak sabarnyeehh...
walaupun....

Don't worry so much sis! Mula2 saya cadangkan u pergi www.kayak.com, check ticket untuk tarikh2 keramat tu....... Nampak gayanya u punya trip ni sama macam mine.... Group of 6, pergi 4/12 - 15/12. Pergi KL-london, balik ikut Paris. Saya dapat tiket pergi Saudi airlinesbalik naik Kuwait airways, semua ni dapat maklumat melalui kayak.com, untuk dates tu AAX mahal pulak. Bile tiket dah dapat baru senang nak plan pergi mana2. Bab visatravel agent boleh uruskan kalau malas nak buat sendiri.
Sekarang saya tengah discuss...sebab ada dua family ....nak pergi mana. Maybe in my case taklah susah sebab pernah kerja di London so tahu sangat tempat2 kat sini, in ur case search kat forum ni untuk idea2 & check dlm tripadvisor cara2 nak pergi ke sana sini.
Pakai travel agent leceh sebab kena ikut program dia n tak boleh nak tukar plan, plus off course mahal!!!! |

Ni just my humble opinion lah ya. London is not a city yg susah nak travel, in fact UK as a whole memang senang nak travel. So kalau nak ambik travel agent tu, saya rasa sangat lah merugikan. Even kalau you jenis yang jarang travel, London is pretty easy to be explored.
Yang penting perancangan, and you need to spend a little bit of time lah to do survey etc. That's the fun part of travelling, the planning and surveying part.
Airlines ada banyak, all you need to do is survey.. AA and MAS kalau takde, leh cari other airlines SIA ke mana-mana. Tadi saya tengok Cathay Pacific, for the dates you mentioned tu price from RM3,068 return kalau guna Economy Save. Cuma kena transit kejap kat Hong Kong. Plus tax gitu gini dalam RM4,700. Emirates saya tengok dalam RM4900. Jika tu agak mahal, leh cari lagi dan lagi. Tu rushrush kata Saudi approx RM3k tu.. murah tu... Dulu zaman saya study, saya balik M'sia naik British Airways je sbb murah, tapi tu sbb students lah.
Take time dulu to survey mana nak pergi. Can start with this thread, tengok mana-mana berkenan di hati, boleh tanya kawan2 yg dah gi, boleh tiru itinerary mereka juga  . Boleh juga google cari attractions, dah tau mana nak gi, baru leh plan hotel mana nak duduk. Kalau nak duduk London for e.g, boleh type 'London accomodation' dalam google, haaa.. selepuk nanti keluar options. Nak yg murah ke yang mahal ke semua ada. Buat online booking pun tak susah. Buat itinerary of your travel.
Then make sure all documentation is on hand, your return ticket, your money, where to stay etc. Easier to enter UK with all documentation in hand.
Transportation in UK tak susah, especially in London itself, it gets connected well by the tube. Dari Heathrow pun connected by tube to the city centre. And as usual mana-mana airport di pintu masuk mana-mana negara yg maju (even Malaysia pun) we can easily get transportation kat sana. So don't have to worry.

Wow! Untung dapat tiket murah.... ! Jealous! Dulu2 memang dengar ramai orang complain pasal seat AAX yg x boleh recline ...cuma boleh "virtual" recline. Tapi lepas AAX pasang seats baru last yr saya belum berpeluang naik AAX ni... ada sekali last year dah dapat pergi Perth tapi just 2 minggu sebelum terbang dapat sms "....regret to inform you that due to late delivery of our new airplanes, your flight on ...... has been cancelled..!!" Punyalah panik especially apartment rental semua dah bayar! How I resolved this problem is another story altogether.......... So berry, kalau ada problem dgn AAX nanti boleh hantar pm to me, boleh I explain cara nak tackle AA Group. Lepas kes ni dah jadi suspen nak naik AAX takut ada last minute cancellation.
May tahun depan lambat lagi...boleh kumpul duit banyak2 dulu untuk ur shopping!!!! |

Saya ni saja suka share info ...especially prinsip saya "why pay more if you can pay less".... jadi saya terpaksa kena tahu sikit2 cara nak dapat tiket dan hotel murah. Kakak dah pergi kayak? Tadi saya check yang cheapest for 22/12 masih Saudi. |

Kak, nak senang click "show matrix" ; dia akan tunjuk summary harga tiap2 airline... kalau dah berkenan tekan "details", lepas tu "Fares"; dia akan tunjuk site-sites yg offer harga2 tu.
Contoh:-
Gulf Air RM3,892/pax return (22/12 - 30/12/2011). Harga ni cuma ada kat Gulf Air direct, Orbitz dgn Cheaptickets mahal. Click je Gulf Air dia akan redirect kita straight ke Gulf Air website. Nanti masukkan particulars etc dlm website Gulf Air.
Bila hujung tahun dekat Christmas memang mahal .... kalau early Dec murah sikit! 3/12 - 14/12 Kuwait Airways return cuma RM2,742/pax. Anyway, ada lima bulan lagi...selamat mencari!
