KUALA LUMPUR, June 26:
The mother of 15-year-old Muhammad Firdaus Dullah, the cerebral palsy-stricken boy who was found neglected and in malnourished condition, will be charged at the Seremban High Court tomorrow.
Lolanopita Sadi is set to be charged under Section 31(1) (a) and Section 33 (c) of the Child Act 2001 at 9am for neglecting the youth.
The 40-year-old was remanded by the police on June 21 after the Negri Sembilan state immigration department discovered Firdaus locked alone in his room with food paper packets strewn about.
The boy was found covered in his own faeces and urine during the 2.30am raid at the low-cost flats at Taman Semarak Phase 2, Nilai.
Lolanopita is working at a catering company.
The malnourished youth is now recovering at the Tuanku Jaafar Hospital in Seremban.
