Saab NCW capability theoretically nampak mcm yg paling mantap but definitely in between it's own manufactured product..so deal SAAB gripen + AWACS tuh mmg yg terbaik la rasanya since gap created by mig decommissioning kene isi cepat2 and currently only SAAB can fill the gap as soon as possible...ye la kot....

Okay, what can we expect from LIMA in regards to RMAF requirement obviously:

- Replacement for MiG-29N / NUB (possibly by Saab's Gripen deal)
- New AEW plane (as per Swedish Saab package deal that includes Gripen sales)
- Additional 6 Su-30 MKMs (barter trade of ex-RMAF existing MiG-29N fleet)
- Resumed replacement of Nuri choppers

I think that covers it, as for MY Army, the replacement for Sibmas & Condor APCs, while RMN might be getting 2nd batch NGPV & the more immediate LPD/LHD replacement.

Did I missed out anything?

My hope if the AEW&C do happen it is fine with Erricsson as long as not on SAAB aircraft since this aircraft is no longer in a production albeit there are at least 60 to 70 of this aircraft in Asia Pacific alone. To me Embraer is a good platform already.

If the SU-30MKM are excluded, it may only F-18F or the new multi-role fighter. In any case, the end result must wait for the 10th Malaysia Plan baked.

well..rasanya ada few eurobabes around but some are just far beyond reach while some are just plain b*t*h and full of ugly surprises....put the engine aside...it's the system, network and tech of the gripen tht made it a true gem..and they're pure european all the way...though GE contributes 60% to the engine component it's mainly still SAAB's call..kalau uncle sam nak embargo us wt wateva stakes they have in the gripen...then it's the hornets tht's gonna feel the pain more...n'way..as for now...my vote goes to the gripen..;-)

Maybe you should look at the previous ship class bearing current Kedah-class names.  That should give you a clue as to the next set of names and quantity.
