Jordan Henderson tak pernah dikaitkan dengan pasukan kita sebelum ini. Ini mungkin kali pertama pemain yang dikatakan mirip permainan Kapten Gerrard, iaitu pemain kotak ke kotak yakni istilah bagi pemain tengah yang suka ronda satu padang. Memang sebelum ini pemain ini menjadi idaman saya sebagai pengganti ideal kapten kita itu. Tapi bayangkan masa sebelum ini Man U, Man City, Chelsea dan Arsenal telah dikatakan berebut untuk dapatkan pemain muda meletop ini dan akhirnya ditakdirkan pasukan kita dapat, fuyooo memang dahsyatlah kerja-kerja licik Commolli.

Tapi lagi licik ialah harga ￡13 juta pound yang ditawarkan. Macam tak munasabah sebab pemain tersebut dah jadi kesebelasan utama Sunderland, malah sikit hari lagi Lampard bersara otomatik mamat ni akan bergandingan dengan Wilshere. Saya rasa Sunderland akan terima bidaan tak kurang ￡18-20 juta pound. Tapi menurut sumber terdekat dengan Henderson sendiri, balik dari kejohanan bawah 21 tahun Eropah nanti Henderson tak sabar-sabar pakai jersi Liverpool, kerana dia dah nampak pasukan kita sedang dalam revolusi kebangkitan.

Chelsea assistant manager Michael Emenalo believes a lack of service explains Fernando Torres' difficulty in settling at Stamford Bridge.

Torres has been woefully out of touch since his ￡50million move from Liverpool in January, hitting the target just once.

Emenalo believes the Spain striker is missing the influence of the Reds' midfield, who supplied him with the ammunition to fire 81 goals in 126 appearances while at Anfield.

"I can say he's still adapting to the pattern of Chelsea at the moment," Emenalo said. "This is due to the fact he's still missing the juicy passes being served to him by the likes of (Xabi) Alonso and (Steven) Gerrard, but with time he will adapt."

Simon Kjaer Issues Come & Get Me Plea to Liverpool

Simon Kjaer has opened the door to a summer move to Liverpool following a come-and-get-me plea during an interview with Danish publication Sporten.dk. Kjaer, who only joined Wolfsburg last year, has been coveted by some of Europe’s biggest clubs leading him to become the pride and joy of Danish football.

But despite this, the defender admits that one of his top priorities is to one day play for Liverpool; a club he supported right the way up to his professional career.

‘Right now it’s just rumours” Kjaer told Danish website sporten.dk.

“But I must admit that there are personal reasons for such a move.

“My father and my uncle are big Liverpool fans. I’d be happy if I was at that club.

“I was a Liverpool fan until I came up at this level. To play for them would probably mean something extra for me” he added.

Kjaer has cast further doubt on his Wolfsburg future after the 22-year-old admitted that he has been surprised by the German outfit’s failure to not only compete, but to find themselves in a relegation battle.

“It has not been the season I dreamed of at Wolfsburg when I switched from Palermo. But on the other hand, I am certainly no worse off than when I played in Italy – on the contrary.

“I have learned a lot mentally from the pressure we’ve been through as relegation threatened big club. I was better at taking responsibility, and then I got better with the ball in the Bundesliga.

“Right now I expect to stay at Wolfsburg, but you never know what happens in football”

Rumours currently suggest that Liverpool will offer a player + cash deal for the Dane, which would see Christian Poulsen head in the other direction. However, this could not be confirmed by Sporten.dk – or any other sources – and thus remains to be just a rumour for the time being.
