Goh Hyeon-jung, one of the top actresses in Korea, said yesterday she would be starring in Seoul Broadcasting System's 20-episode drama "Spring Days," confirming rumors of her returning to the entertainment business.
Her appearance in the drama, which will be aired in January, comes 10 years after the Miss Korea-turned-actress performed in the much-celebrated drama "Hourglass" in 1995.
Goh divorced Jung Yong-jin, vice president of Shinsegae, last November ending eight years of marriage, during which she hid from the entertainment world.

Following the divorce, she was courted by the show biz industry to resume her career. Reportedly, Goh will receive the highest-ever paycheck for starring in a TV drama. The story of "Spring Days" is adapted from the Japanese drama "Heaven's Coins." Goh will play Seo Jeong-eun, an adoptee brought up on an island who is forced to stop playing piano after an injury, which combines with another traumatic experience involving her first love which left her unable to speak.
She finds hope when she meets Goh Eun-ho (played by Ji Jin-hee) and overcomes her aphasia. However, he leaves the island and suffers from amnesia after a car accident. And his stepbrother Goh Eun-seop (Jo In-sung) steps in forming a love triangle.
