[edit] Voting proceduresThere are several differences in voting and tabulation between Asian Idol and other Idolshows. Unlike the latter wherein the viewers get to vote for onecontestant, the voting procedure for Asian Idol requires viewers tovote for two favorite Idols, thus allowing contestants to receive votesfrom their respective countries.[5][8]
As consideration on population size among the participatingcountries, tabulation of votes are done through an "Equal and EvenCumulative Method", wherein the total votes of each country areconverted into percentages.[8][9] |
