WHY DID AMISHA VISIT MEDICAL CENTER?
Is Amisha Patel pregnant? Why did she visit a Mumbai medical center recently? Was she there for sonography? This is the rumor taking round in the tinsel world. We may recall that Amisha left her parents and started living with director Vikram Bhatt. Though there is no confirmation about their marriage yet, both continue to live together. This led to another rumor that they have secretly married. However, Amisha has denied it and called it rubbish. She says that her visit to the medical center was a routine check up. But sources close to the center say that it was her first visit there and also the first ever sonography. The truth is known either to the medical center or to Amisha. So, it's better to wait for the confirmation from either source.
Amisha Patel is very anxiously awaiting the release of her latest 'The Rising' next week. She is very excited as she did a lot of homework before shooting for this period movie though unlike most of her colleagues in the industry. Since Amisha has acted as a widow of a soldier during the British Raj in the movie, she studied a book titled White Mughal to acclimatize herself with the living style of that period. "The book provided me with full knowledge of that time. Besides, Aamir Khan, the hero and Ketan Mehta, the director, also guided me in playing my character as well as I have been able to do", she says.

Bips' craze for looking sexier
Bipasha Basu has recently turned crazy to reduce her weight and look slimmer. She has been visiting gym every day for two hours. She feels that to stay longer in the filmdom one needs to look pretty and sexy, and for this she needs to exercise a lot to look thinner. She is aware that the tinsel world is full of pretty and sexy faces. After all, she has to compete with them in the near future .

FLOPS TURN HRITHIK CRAZY ABOUT 'KRISH'
Hrithik Roshan has turned crazy about his home production 'Krish' following the failure of his recent movies despite his best performances. He doesn't want to take any chance now. When asked how he fell hurt during its shoot Hrithik says, " I was busy in doing some amazing things when I got slightly hurt." He tries to evade any further query in this matter. He says, " I am acting after about a year and half since my 'Lakshya'. You may call 'Krish', a sequence of 'Koi Mil Gaya' though it has no link with it. My papa has agreed to do it. So, it's a challenge for us."
We may like to add that Rakesh Roshan (Hrithik's father) didn't ever like the idea of making ' Koi Mil Gaya' as he feared that the audience might reject a musical science fiction like it. Hrithik continued shooting it by assuring his father of a good response. Hrithik says, "'Koi Mil Gaya's success has encouraged us to take the risk of entering into a new venture. All this has happened because acting has become a junun (craze) for me." Hrithik lays a lot of importance on the script though. He adds, " I have stopped running from one set to another. I shall do one movie at a time." He recalls that he could concentrate on ' Koi Mil Gaya' only after completing all his movies. He still claims that he was satisfied with his performance in ' Lakshya' though it failed to get a positive response from the audience.

John Abraham to enter media
Now, John Abraham has decided to enter the media by bringing out a newspaper or a magazine. He says he has been in touch with the concerned people. What motivated him to enter this venture can be anybody's guess. He is serious about it though as he realizes its power in society. He is also aware of the fierce competition prevailing in the media these days. But he has no intention to compete with any one. We may recall that not in the distant past, famous director Ram Gopal Verma had also threatened to bring out a magazine. However, he forgot about it when he got fully occupied in his filmi world.

Bipasha to do Bengali film with Rituparno
For all those who've wondered what makes Bipasha Basu so Bong, here's the answer: she speaks Bengali fluently and is a complete Bengali woman at heart.
To prove this, she's all set to do her first Bengali film. "Dates permitting," she warns with a chuckle.
"But yes, I'm in serious negotiation with Rituparno Ghosh. We met in Mumbai when he was here earlier this week. I had spoken to him on phone for so long and so warmly that I felt I knew him from long before we actually met."
Says Bipasha, "I'm a complete Bengali at heart. I speak Bengali fluently. And my parents have long egged me on to do a Bengali film. Really, you can't be a Bengali actor and not do a Bengali film."
In fact Bipasha was chosen to do the lead in Buddhadeb Dasgupta's Kaal Purush. But the role finally went to a non-Bengali actress, Sameera Reddy.
Says Bipasha, "Ritu and I are very keen to work together. And hopefully things will be in place soon."
Ghosh has in turn long nursed a desire to direct Bipasha. The prolific director, now putting finish touches to his latest Bengali film Dosar with Konkona Sen-Sharma and Prosenjeet, lights up at the mention of the actress.
"Yes, we met very warmly. Actually I had offered both Chokher Bali and my new film Dosar to Bipasha. Things didn't work out then. Now I'm working on a couple of ideas for her specially."

Mahima quits 'Kahani' midway
Mahima Chaudhry is not as innocent as she looks on the screen. She has decided to ruin the career of her producer A. Rahman. She has already completed half of the shooting of Rahman's 'Kahani'-A Unique Story'. But, she has now declined to complete it further in the absence of other stars like Sahil Khan, Rajat Bedi and Yukta Mukhi who were supposed to be there. Ismail Darbar has rendered the music.

Ajay's light moments during shoot
Ajay Devgan isn't as serious in real life as he appears on the screen. Everyone is well aware of his habit to make fools of others during the shooting of films. Recently, during the shoot of 'Kaal', Ajay quietly mixed some laxative in Vivek Oberoi's food at the National Corbett Park. This made Vivek take a few rounds of toilet though it's hardly available close by in the forest. So, Vivek was found going out time and again to relieve himself. Similarly, the entire unit of 'Apaharan' fell a prey to Ajay's gimmicks. Prakash Jha was busy in shooting. During the break for lunch, a plate full of green colored sweets was presented to all. A nice sweet after the lunch is always welcome. So, everyone ate sweets as much as one could get. Soon, it was discovered that Ajay had mixed bhang in the sweet. Hence, everyone began laughing and shouting!

SALMAN MAKES HAT TRICK OF SUCCESSES
Casanova of Bollywood is back and back with vengeance. Salman Khan, the heartthrob of millions, is the messiah of law and order in this movie. While he has been shown on small screen as a culprit for his rash driving, his fan following is least bothered about his off-screen image. Salman Khan reigned victorious in his last two releases of 2003, namely 'Tere Naam' and 'Baghbaan'. Now, his latest film 'Garv - Pride and Honor' sees light of the day. The film also marks debut of the noted character artiste of Bollywood, Puneet Issar, as a film director.
The film is right combination of machismo and beauty. If Salman Khan is the main crowd puller of this yet another voyage of Cinevista, there are likes of Shilpa Shetty and Akanksha to entertain the masses. The film has a full band of senior character artistes and Salman donning the Khaki after many years makes it a good opener at the box office. Last time he wore police uniform in 'Auzaar' and before that there were films like 'Patthar Ke Phool' where he played a cop. 'Garv' also has feels of Salman Khan's real jail experiences. 'Garv' has all that what makes a film catch the curiosity of film goers and seeing the excellent start that the film has taken at the box office, producers Prem Kishan and Sunil Mehta feel happy as their first two films did not make much noise at the box office.
'Garv-Pride and Honor' is the latest film in the trend that Bollywood has seen in plenty this year. Right from 'Khakee' to 'Aan', 'Police Force', 'Dev' and 'Ab Tak Chhappan' the trend has come a full circle with 'Garv'. Puneet Issar directed 'Garv' too deals with the lives of police officer that have put their family on the sidelines while performing their duties round the clock. Salman Khan plays Arjun Ranawat who is part of the core team of Mumbai Police, which also has Samar Singh (Amrish Puri) and Haider Ali (Arbaaz Khan). The trio forms a team that is death to all the bad elements in city and especially the dons from underworld. As is usual, they face a problem. Arjun and Haider respect Samar like their idol and it is the leadership of tough cop Samar Singh, that these two have become the real backbone of Special Police Team.
The team goes on elimination drive and this causes twisters in the system. Many crowns shake and many heavyweights come under pressure from the dark forces. The modern days kauravas try to make a chakravyuh for Arjun and this time target is his mother (Farida Jalal) and sweet sister (Akanksha). Arjun can bear anything but anything done to his family is a sin for him and he would do anything to make the life hell for those who have committed this, even if it means crossing the limit of Khaki. The story progresses with a lot of drama. The action packed foray comes to an end where things gather momentum and happenings look like bursting of a volcano. Shilpa Shetty in between works as a relief for the viewers as she does a better skin show this time than she did with Salman in 'Auzaar'.
'Garv' is truly a baby of its director Puneet Issar. Last time he made headlines was at the shooting of Amitabh Bachchan starrer 'Coolie'. It was a blow from him that made Big B almost dead. Later, he was seen as the baddie in epic 'Mahabharat' where he played Duryodhan. Puneet has emphasized on the action image of Salman Khan that has not been explored fully post-'Baaghi'. In 'Garv', Puneet presents him as a crusader. A fighter himself, the director in Puneet has presented Salman in some of the best action sequences seen on silver screen in recent times. But he falters in the script.
There is no uniqueness about the story line. Had it been with some unexpected twists and new thoughts, 'Garv' could have been a big grosser of the season. Puneet Isssar's technique is flawless though the supporting crew has failed in its work. The cinematography in song sequences is below average and even costume selection is not proper. Songs by Jalees Sherwani impress in pieces. Though two songs composed by Anu Malik try to save the grace, others let down the music part. Marhaba, Marhaba is good.
Among actors, it's truly a Salman film. He is there right from the beginning to the end. The film has flashes of 'Tere Naam' in it. The scenes where Salman is arrested and what follows after that are the best scenes Salman has given in his recent career. He makes people feel sad about him. Arbaaz and Amrish Puri support him like pillars throughout the film. But, Shilpa is a major let down. Seniors like Anupam Kher, Mukesh Rishi, Govind Namdeo, and Mohan Joshi save the film a lot. Their presence and chemistry with each other balance very aptly. Hemant Birje makes a good comeback with this film. On the whole, the film belongs to Salman and it is almost sure that it will make decent business at the box office, thus making a hat trick of successful films for him 'Tere Naam' and 'Baghbaan' being the other two which were released last year. And, this has happened for the first time in Salman's career of nearly a decade and a half.

DAVID & SALMAN AGAIN BUT WITHOUT MAGIC
When Salman Khan delivered his third successive 'Garv' a fortnight back, people looked at him as the savior of the box office. This time again every one hoped that Salman would bring good luck to their cash resisters in 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi'. In this film, Salman teams up with the so-called king of comedies, David Dhawan who once ruled the box office with hit after hit. But, once David fell apart with Govinda, neither of them could recreate the magic again. David gave a number of flops and then went in hibernation only to resurrect with this new film released this week 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi' with producer Saajid Nadiadwala who has made hits like 'Jeet', 'Judwa' and 'Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega'.
In 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi', Saajid and David have tried to rework on Govinda- Anil Kapoor starrer 'Deewana Mastana' and Raj Kumar Santoshi's 'Andaz Apna Apna', both mega hits. 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi' has Salman Khan once again playing a guy whom luck does not favor a bit, and there are Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra both needing a hit desperately. 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi' incidentally was supposed to be the title of film that was later changed to 'Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai' (Anil and Aishwarya starrer), a remake of south film 'Pelichuskandam', meaning 'will you marry me'? Its makers promised that it is a laugh riot.
Sameer (Salman Khan) who is an angry man since birth moves to Goa after a break with his ladylove (Amrita Arora). He promises to his grandmother not to fight any one again and his new job brings him to Goa as a lifeguard. He meets Rani (Priyanka Chopra) here and instantly falls in love with her. He lives opposite her home and tries a lot to woo her father (Amrish Puri) too. But every time he attempts to impress her father something or other goes wrong and upsets Rani's father. While things do not turn the Sameer way, another problem lands in the form of Sunny (Akshay Kumar) who is not only Sameer's room partner but is also in love with Rani. Each of the two boys tries to outdo the other and win the heart of Rani. But things do not go the way Sameer had thought and finally he decides to leave the place forever. A lot of stupidity goes on during the movie and David Dhawan tries almost every formula from his old films to keep the attention of viewers intact. There are vamps, comedians, fights, special effects and drama too to make the film a masala film, but while all the ingredients are there, the recipe is not just right.
It comes as a shock that a master like David Dhawan is now no more a good selector of his stories. The story line that he works upon in 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi' is very stale and people have seen things like this too many times. It worked in 'Deewana Mastana' because of Govinda's timing whereas both Salman and Akshay Kumar do not have that perfect time when it comes to comedy. People are well prepared for stupidity in a David Dhawan film, but that also should have some link to each other. Here, what Salman Khan does is not comedy. He goes around making fool of himself and potraying a character that would have been just fit for him. He does look smart in his changed hairstyle and bright color costumes but the role required much more meat.
As Sameer, his role is not smartly carved. Even the case of Akshay Kumar is not very different because his role does not gel with Salman's character. His intentions are clear but his gimmicks do not evoke laughter. Priyanka Chopra looks pretty once again and she is improving her acting in each film but her role in 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi' is not involved with what's happening on the screen. She is the cause of the fight yet her character looks very aloof in the film. Most of the song sequences are in dreams and those too hamper the overall impact a lot.
David Dhawan has relied too much on his writers, Anees Bazmee and Rumi Jaffery and they have let him down. Anees' scene creation is below average and Rumi's dialogues have no novelty. Both of them have created so many side characters in the story line, but none of them helps in story progression. Amrish Puri plays a retired army officer, Kader Khan plays a landlord, Rajpal Yadav does a double role for the first time in his career as Pandit and Rowdy, Satish Shah plays the sleepy security guard and, Upasana Singh plays the sex- hungry wife and above all Shashikala plays Salman's grandmother. This strong team of character artistes could have made the film a solid one but unluckily none of them helps in building the tempo. And, as if this was not much David Dhawan sets his climax in a cricket stadium and ropes in Kapil Dev, Parthiv Patel, Harbhajan Singh, Irfan Pathan, Mohammed Kaif and Ashish Nehra to be part of it. But gimmicks do not work if the film does not have a strong story line.
'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi' is an average film with a heavy dose of song and sequences. Sanjay F. Gupta doing his second film as a cinematographer after 'Qayamat' has made every person and place look attractive. He gets full marks and so do the choreographers Ganesh Acharya and Saroj Khan. Technically, the film is very brilliant but the overall result is like a beautiful body without a soul. The film has opened to full houses thanks to crowd pulling strength of none other than Salman Khan, but as the initial rush settles down the film will see a sharp decline in collections post-Sunday. And, that is not a happy sign for trade and film both. Salman Khan's five more films are slated over next few months and if they too fall short of expectations, his career once again will be in doldrums at least as an actor.
Salman Khan

AISH-VIVEK PAIR FAILS ON SCREEN
Film making has come a long way in Bollywood. Now, there are so many production houses attached to just one film; they share the cost of the production. If it is an entertainment channel like Sahara Entertainment is associated with the production, it gets the satellite rights in lieu of money poured in the making. Some get associated for the sake of sheer business and some put the money to get the distribution rights. However, the most obvious question comes to mind when we talk about 'Kyun! Ho Gaya Na'.
Let's see whether chemistry between the real couple of Aishwarya Rai and Vivek Oberoi works or not. The answer is a big no. Aishwarya looks much older to Vivek who has been cuddling with the lady ever since she parted ways with Salman Khan. Then there were accidents on the sets of 'Khakee' and 'Yuva' where both got injured and the whole world saw them rushing to see each other in both cases. There were so many reports about the pair getting cozy on so many occasions be it the Cannes Film Festival or other parties. Aishwarya looks pretty once again on the screen whereas Vivek fails to impress this time too. He is a chocolate boy with surma in eyes but when he stands in the same frame with Aishwarya Rai, he just looks like a prop and nothing more. The casting has failed from the very first frame; Aishwarya looking much older to Vivek who falls in the shadow of her sheer beauty.
'Kyun! Ho Gaya Na' was believed to depict Vivek and Aishwarya's real life romantic pairing in reel life too. There have been pairs like this in the past too like those of Raj Kapoor-Nargis, Dev Anand-Suraiya, Dharmendra-Hema Malini, Amitabh Bachchan-Rekha and lately Salman Khan-Aishwarya Rai. The last one not only looked a perfect match off screen, but they set the screen on fire when in a film. But, the Vivek and Aishwarya pair fails to impress in this film. This was purported to be a romantic comedy and Aishwarya Rai traveled almost whole of India doing road shows. She looked more interested in putting Vivek in the first block of super stars of Bollywood than promoting her film. Her last hit was 'Devdas' and after that she parted ways with Salman and since then she hasn't been able to deliver a single hit. This may be a coincidence though.
'Kyun! Ho Gaya Na' is a romantic film and mind it that there is no comedy in the film whether situational or a created one. Vivek plays Arjun, a motorcar racer, who does not have words like defeat and love in his dictionary. In weird circumstances he meets Diya (Aishwarya Rai) on train only to know that this girl is going to stay in his house in Bombay for her exams. Arjun is a prankster by nature and loves to tease her mother (Rati Agnihotri) with his father (Om Puri). Diya's father (Tinu Anand) wants to get her married but she is against the idea of an arranged marriage.
However, Arjun will marry only that girl who is liked by his parents. Arjun plays jokes with Diya. All this for him is just a part of entertainment whereas Diya starts loving him. She tells her feelings to Arjun. Diya leaves for her home and Arjun follows her to say sorry as he too falls in love with her. But, by the time he is ready to propose to his love lady, it's too late as preparations are on for her marriage. In between enters the dear uncle to all (Amitabh Bachchan) who runs an orphanage and now is all set to make these love birds meet for once and all. Will the cupid strike for the lovebirds? Will Arjun succeed in getting Diya back in her life? The climax has the answer; Suniel Shetty and Diya Mirza too join in for a happy ending.
Samir Karnik turns director with 'Kyun! Ho Gaya Na'. The film is a full 18 reel movie to hold the audience's attraction for three hours. There are too many flaws in the film. First, Sameer has himself written the film and has failed to develop the characters fully. Vivek is shown as a car racer just once otherwise he is just an unemployed spoilt brat. Aishwarya is shown as a studious girl though at 30 plus she doesn't fit the role. Om Puri and Rati Agnihotri are wasted in miniscule roles.
The story movement is not controlled; it keeps on changing tracks with no relation from the previous plot or scene. Dialogues are a major let down and Vivek Oberoi too joins the band of dialogue writers in his film (maybe he is competing with Salman here too). But, he has let down in all fields, be it acting, dancing, dialogue delivery or in timing with other actors. Aishwarya has been rejected in all her films where she wears western outfits. She seems to be oblivious to this fact even now.
Technically, the film just has good camera work. All other departments have fallen flat. The film needs to be chopped off by at least half an hour. Music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy is a major let down and choreography too fails to impress. Overall, 'Kyun! Ho Gaya Na' will fail to meet the expectations of the viewers. Some people may like it for the sake of Aishwarya but that will not help it hit the box office. Aishwarya and Vivek both need a hit at this stage, but sorry, Yeh! Nahin Ho Paya.
Aishwarya Rai
Vivek Oberoi

GRACY READY TO SHIFT TO GLAMOUR IMAGE
The 'Lagaan' girl is fully aware that glamour is the need of the hour, while she has an image just different from that. Gracy Singh says that her debut 'Lagaan' shot her to fame beyond her imagination as the movie was nominated for Oscar. As a result, her viewers expected much more from her. She did two more movies after 'Lagaan'---'Gangajal' and 'Munnabhai MBBS'. Prakash Jha's 'Gangajal' has very little footage of Gracy though. However, 'Munnabhai MBBS' became a hit and Gracy shared its credit. We had a chat with her recently.
Why didn't you secure a position in the industry despite your two hits?
The audience expected much more from me after 'Lagaan.' However, I feel I am on the right path.
Why are you carrying a traditional Indian woman tag?
I am not averse to wearing glamorous dresses according to the need of the character I play. I am ready to change my image, as it is more of a family woman.
Din't you decline 'Qayamat' for wearing a bikni in it?
As said earlier, I am ready to wear anything as per the need of the role. I know that 'Qayamat's role was that of a glamorous girl.
Why did you agree to do small roles in 'Gangajal' and 'Munnabhai MBBS'?
I know that I had a few scenes only in 'Gangajal'. But I am a fan of Prakash Jha as he is famous for making woman-centered movies. So, I accepted even brief role in it.
Aren't you lucky that you have acted with top stars like Big B, Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgan and Sanjay Dutt in your brief career?
Yes, I am. Everyone has his own quality. Amitabh is a sort of a movable university for learners. Anyone can learn from him.

VIVEK: NO PROBLEM WITH FARDEEN
Vivek Oberoi has not been lucky after 'Company' that had brought him glory in Bollywood. He failed to click in 'Saathiya'. Though he hasn't succeeded in his filmi career, yet he has earned goodwill in society, especially through his relief work for the sufferers of tsunami last year. We met him recently and discussed several points raised about him in the industry.
Is it true that Fardeen is not on talking terms with you?
No, it's wrong. I met Fardeen with his girlfriend at a party. We had a hearty talk too. I don't think there is any problem between us.
Did Sameer Karnik threaten that he would never work with you?
This is entirely his decision. I cannot say anything about it.
What's your comment on Sanjay Bhansali's statement that you are getting undue importance?
This is Bhansali's view. However, I respect him as a talented director. Well, Farhah Khan holds the same view about Bhansali that the industry gives him more importance than he deserves.
Do you unnecessarily interfere in the work of directors?
No, it's wrong. I do not interfere at all. Directors like Shah Ali and Soham Shah will vouch for me. In fact, Soham says that the whole team enjoys working with me.
Do you believe that a flop film discredits its hero-heroine too?
Yes. This is right. I worked with Dia in 'Dum' that failed. So, our pair flopped too.
Vivek Oberoi
Fardeen Khan

ABHISHEK IS STILL CAMERA SHY
Abhishek Bachchan is still afraid of facing camera. Yes, this is despite the fact that he has had a number of hits to his credit by now. They include blockbusters like 'Yuva', 'Phir Milenge' and 'Dhoom' when he entered Bollywood he was known as Big B's son, but now he needs no such introduction for the producers and the directors.
Aren't you a hot hero now?
Really people treat me like that. I am a very simple guy though. But this is another thing that nowadays my films are doing the magic. I mean 'Mera Jadoo chall Gaya'.
How come you turned an item boy as well?
I work according to the direction given to me. However, I never tried to look something hot like. But I gave an item number because Suniel Shetty asked me to do.
Are you happy with the fame you got in Bollywood?
Every actor wants to be famous and people must admire the work of an actor. Obviously, I am enjoying the fame conferred on me.
Do you regret for your flop films?
I always do whatever comes my way. I never think of the past. However, one needs to keep in mind the wrong things one has done earlier. He should then try to rectify them.
Any dream girl in life, especially with Rani as reported?
Well, Rani Mukherji is one of my best friends. Rani's and my chemistry work good together. People like to link the name of one with another. I never mind it. I have no time to dream of my soul mate. I am concentrating on my work. A relationship depends upon love and respect for each other.
How about working with Big B?
He is the institution of acting. First time I was very nervous to work with him. However, it's ok now. But, I wish to work with my Mom now.

'DHOOM' MOTIVATES ESHA TO DO BETTER
Esha Deol, daughter of Bollywood's dream girl Hema Malini, has attained confidence in herself following the success of her 'Dhoom'. Recently, she met the media persons on the sets of her 'Main Aisa Hi Hoon', directed by Harry Baweja. In this movie, she is starring opposite Ajay Devgan as hero. Earlier, she has acted with Ajay in 'Yuva' also. Again, she is repeating with Ajay though along with others like John Abraham, Lara Dutta and Vivek Oberoi, in Karan Johar's 'Kaal'. Besides, she is looking forward to acting in her mom's forthcoming movies, presumably being made for her.
What's all about 'Main Aisa Hi Hoon'?
This is an emotional movie. The movie is based on the story of a child who has been mentally challenged since her childhood.
What's special about your role in it?
My character is named Maya. This girl doesn't distinguish between right and wrong. She is crazy though, and does whatever she likes to do. This is an interesting role. I have never done such a role before.
Isn't it a hero-oriented movie? What's the scope for your role then?
There is a lot of scope. Every movie has a heroine besides the hero. This movie centers around a character, and not around the hero or the heroine. Every artist is playing his or her role. Ajay, Sushmita Sen and I are playing our characters.
What's your experience of working in this movie?
Very good indeed! With Ajay, I have worked before in 'Yuva'. It's so easy to work with him. He doesn't let us feel like acting. Ajay's role is very challenging in this movie, and he has performed it very well.
What motivated you to act in this movie?
Harry Baweja is a very good filmmaker. When he narrated the story, I agreed to do it instantaneously. My mom also wanted me to act in it.
How did you feel after the success of 'Dhoom'?
Who doesn't like success? Moreover, I felt it for the first time. Hence 'Dhoom' will ever remain a special thing for me. This movie has encouraged me to do still better in future. I hope the audience will like my forthcoming movies too.
What's your role in 'Kaal'?
After working with the Yasraj camp, I am doing a movie with Karan Johar. It's another milestone in my career. I cannot tell you much about 'Kaal'. However, I may say that this is an adventure story that has moments of thrill as well.
What are your other forthcoming movies after 'Kaal'?
After 'Kaal' I have Nitin Manmohan's 'Dus'. Then comes Boney Kapoor's 'No Entry' opposite Salman, followed by Vasu Bhagnani's 'Shaadi No 1' with Fardeen Khand. David Dhawan is directing this movie.
Isn't your mom also making movies for you too?
Yes, she is working on two stories. I cannot say when these movies would resume shooting. However, I am very anxiously looking towards my mom directing me in a movie.

BIPASHA'S DEEWANE ARE WORLD'S DEEWANE
Sex bomb Bipasha Basu is too happy and excited to know that hers are best choices the world over. She came to know about it from her colleagues who were present at the recent AIFA function at Amsterdam. They have reported to Bipasha that her choice of her boyfriends had stolen the limelight at Amsterdam. The girls of Surinam belonging to Indian origin families were crazy about the two models-turned- actors - Dino Morea and John Abraham. The Surinam girls' craze for Bipasha's boyfriends shocked Bollywood's top stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan.
Presumably, they had thought that they rule over the hearts of Hindi movie watchers the world over. However, this proved a myth when the Surinam girls cried 'vows and how sexy they are |

SHAH RUKH KHAN'S AUTOBIOGRAPHY
Shah Rukh Khan has written his autobiography, and will release it in the market soon with the help of a publisher when it is finally edited by his biographer Anupama, a journalist. Even at an age of 39, SRK considers himself a youth. After all, MTV India hasn't awarded its prestigious 2005 youth icon to him for nothing. His biography depicts his life from his journey into filmdom and his performance in more than fifty films. He says that he has written this whenever he got free time during these years. However, he confesses that director Mahesh Bhatt had advised him to write it. Bhatt had motivated SRK for it during the shoot of his film 'Duplicate'.
He said this during an interview to a foreign website on the auspicious occasion of his latest home production 'Paheli' starring Amitabh Bachchan, Rani Mukherjee, and Suniel Shetty, besides himself. Shah Rukh says that he reads a lot. Those who go through his biography will come to know about his outlook in life. The biography has a beginning, an intermission and the end, as usual. He claims that he has learnt a lot while analyzing the events of his life ranging from his arrival in Mumbai to the births of his son and daughter. " I have mentioned all those events of my life that have left a deep impression on me." Admitting that he is a realist, SRK says that his profession is such that leaves no scope for waiting for his choice of job, meaning doing a movie. Sometimes, he has to accept that comes his way. Options are limited in his profession.
