Kaka Eyes Quater Final
Milan抯 Kaka believes a sold out San Siro will be the key to reaching the quarter finals of the Champions League.
The Rossoneri held a dominant Arsenal side to a 0-0 draw at the Emirates stadium on Wednesday night in a game which did not exactly live up to all the pre match hype.
Carlo Ancelotti抯 men are now in pole position to go through. The Rossoneri have never lost at home to English opposition in this competition and so they seem favourites to progress.
揟he return leg I can imagine being played in front of 80,000 fans at San Siro, above all they are our fans and with a Milan side who will surely be very aggressive, |

IMPORTANT VICTORY
"This victory is a starting point because the road is long and there are important opponents. It was important to reach the fourth place, but it's just as important to keep this position." - THE DECLARATIONS -

MILAN - Here are the declarations made by the rossoneri after Milan-Palermo 2-1:
YOANN GOURCUFF:
"It's never easy for Milan when we concede a goal at home, but fortunately tonight we won and we also managed to reach fourth place. The second half was more difficult because we were all attacking while Palermo often went on the counterattack and made themselves dangerous. I knew I was coming on the pitch at the start of the second half, when the medical staff decided that Kak |

Kaka to miss Arsenal?
Monday 25 February, 2008
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There are fears in the Milan camp that Kaka may miss their crucial Champions League last 16 second leg against Arsenal due to a knee problem.
The Brazilian star has been experiencing pain from his knee for the last six months, but has been able to play through the discomfort.
Over the last few weeks, Kaka has also been suffering from tendonitis and the situation worsened in last night抯 game against Palermo.
The Ballon d扥r winner took a heavy blow to the knee after a collision with Rosanero midfielder Roberto Guana in the third minute of the game and was forced to come off at half-time.
Kaka will now almost certainly miss the Serie A games against Catania and Lazio, but it is unclear whether he will be ready to face Arsenal on March 4.
After an impressive stalemate at the Emirates Stadium, Milan know that one goal could be enough to book a place in the quarter-finals, but they are looking worryingly short of firepower.
With Ronaldo out for the season and Pippo Inzaghi still lacking match fitness, Alexandre Pato will be under pressure to perform but he isn抰 100 per cent either after an ankle complaint. |
