Bips falls sick!

Bipasha Basu, who's shooting in London, recently fell sick due to chest congestion and infection. But the committed gal that she is, she refused to let it hamper the schedule and continued shooting. "I am looking forward to meeting John on his tour, and taking a break, as soon as the shooting is complete," she said.  

Rani refused to reveal!

Bollywood queen Rani Mukherji declined to say much about her forthcoming projects.

However she informed that by the end of the May, she may join Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Sawariya' shooting, followed by Siddharth Anand's next. But on asked about these films, Rani refused to reveal the details about these much talked about projects. However, "it's not secrecy", she asserted.

"When have I ever spoken about my new films? I like to let my work speak for itself. There are too many peoples eyeing the two films. I never spoke about 'Black' and I won't speak about 'Sawariya' either," she quipped.

In Siddharth Anand's film, Rani is pairing up with Saif Ali Khan for second time after 'Hum Tum'. "We both had a blast shooting for 'Hum Tum'. I am sure we'll enjoy ourselves this time too," gushed Rani.

After going through all the release ke pehle stress and strain, Akshoo has decided to go on a de-stress program. Well, that's a treat to himself for all the work well done. And what better way than to scoot off to the city of New York. Party and pals, rock and roll. Living up to his bachelorhood! What say, Akshoo?   

Hema's special screening for Esha!  

She is still Bollywood's original Dream Girl, but now the gorgeous Hema 'Mommy' Malini has big dreams in her eyes for her doting daughter, Esha. While the young Deol is away on a world tour, her Mom hosted a special screening of Ankahee for Esha's close filmi clique and buddies. That's really a sweet gesture. Everyone has been talking about Esha's role in the film, even co-star, Ameesha (who was rumoured to be peeved about not being promoted as much as Esha in the film) said, "Esha is fantastic in Ankahee." Now we're really keen to know what Hemaji thinks of her beti's act as the 'other woman'. Or like many other things, will that also remain ankahaa?

Kajol and daughter have similar taste  

Here抯 something interesting for all those who want to know more about Kajol and her li抣 daughter Nysa. Kajol, had to wear a green salwar kameez designed by Manish Malhotra for a song in the film Fanaa. Apparently, Kajol loved the outfit so much that she took it home and has made it a part of her personal wardrobe. We抳e also learnt that daughter Nysa is crazy about the outfit, too, and is forever dancing around with the green dupatta. That抯 not all. Nysa insists that mommy dearest get her one of the same kind, too. Now, will designer Malhotra oblige this li抣 Kajol in the making, we wonder!   

Amrita's going Westwards!  

While on the topic of vacations, the pretty Amrita Rao is also in the US of A, taking a one-month break. In fact, the gal was doubly excited about this trip, 揟his is the first time I am going to America. I have been to so many places around the world, but whenever I planned a trip to America, some thing or the other came up and I didn't end up going. I will mostly be in the West Coast, my aunt lives there and I have to attend a close family wedding. I don't know how much I will be able to travel around, but I will try to make few small trips around. I really needed this break; I have been working non-stop for the last few months,

Tusshar Kapoor: Suburban lad  

If you are too proud about being a South Mumbai-ite meet actor Tusshar Kapoor, who doesn抰 think much about this side of town. Only recently, he was shooting at Pedder Road for Good Boy Bad Boy, and the lad couldn抰 help but say, 揑t抯 so quiet out here. There抯 absolutely nothing happening. These days, it抯 the suburbs where all the energy, noise and buzz is - from multiplexes and malls to eating places and nightclubs, it抯 all there.

Ameesha: In de-glam mode!  

She抯 one of the most beautiful and glamourous actresses in Bollywood, and probably the most gorgeous sans make-up. So it is interesting to see that both of Ameesha Patel抯 recent releases, Tathastu and Ankahee showcase the actress in performance oriented deglam roles. Now it remains to be seen if the audience takes to her new avatar. Although going by her great performances, we think glamourous or deglam - this one surely knows how to entertain her fans!   

Fanaa is Kajol's first film?  

Well, don't stare at us awkwardly - we aren't saying this. Believe it or not it's none other than Yash Chopra who is making these claims. It comes as no surprise that this Bong beauty is one of Yashji's favourite actresses, and when Kajol decided to make a comeback, the veteran filmmaker couldn't stop beaming with joy. He's keenly looking forward to watch the film because he'll be watching his fav bubbly Kajol after so long. In fact, he excitedly says, "Kajol's face looks so innocent that anyone can mistake this for her first film." Now that's one helluva compliment! Instead of trimming the hemlines, we think the new gals-on-the-bloc better pull up their stockings really quick!

Manoj Bajpai to play football coach in sports flick

Bollywood films with a sports backdrop are in vogue. Yesteryear actress Padmini Kapila has joined the bandwagon now as producer of 90 Minutes, a film on football.

The film has Manoj Bajpai playing the role of the coach with several newcomers acting as football players. The film will be directed by Iqbal Rizvi, who had earlier directed Remix.
