Shah Rukh Khan and son win AVA awards

Like father like son. Shah Rukh Khan and his son Aryan Khan have won AVA awards for the best voices behind the scenes in a glittering ceremony in Mumbai.

Mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan won the award for best anchor host male for KBC, while SRK won for best dubbing voice male animation, for 慔um Lajawab Hai

Abhishek Bachchan in a real-life inspired role

Abhishek Bachchan may play the role of a real-life inspired Superintendent of Police in a forthcoming film.

The film titled 'Shootout At Lokhanwala' will be directed by Apoorva Lakhia , who directed the junior Bachchan in Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost.

The film is reported to have 28 characters, stars Sanjay Dutt , Tusshar Kapoor , Vivek Oberoi , Arjun Rampal , Esha Deol and Urmila Matondkar .

Lakhia showed promos of the film to mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan as he also wants to work with the senior Bachchan again after Ek Ajnabee .

Reports quote Lakhia as saying, "Abhishek and I became very good friends during the making of 'Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost'. He went on to play a cameo in 'Ek Ajnabee'. We share a great comfort level. Although our first film together did not do well, I always knew that Abhishek will be a huge star."

Shah Rukh is upstaged by Sholay

Renowned film director Ram Gopal Verma has shelved the soon to be produced Time Machine, and instead will begin shooting the Sholay remake.

In a direct snub to Shah Rukh Khan, who was to star in Time Machine opposite Kareena Kapoor, Ramu has decided to give his undivided attention to the Bachchans.

Ram Gopal Verma will be working with the Bachchans on this remake of Sholay, while also producing the sequel to Sarkar, and starting up big budget project Ek.

There has been recent tension between Ram Gopal and Shah Rukh Khan, after the director criticized Karan Johar抯 Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Ghum and called it a horror flick.

Soha can't fake it, reveals Saif!

Saif left for a world tour right after the completion of Vishal Bhardwaj's Omkara. "It was organized by Anu's brother Abu Malik with Akshay Kumar, Preity Zinta, Sushmita Sen and me. It took us through April and May, I wanted it to be really cool.

We went all over the US, and parts of the UK. That tour got me the funds to buy a new place," he says. "Right now Rosa and I are staying at a rented place. We've sort of zeroed-in on a place in Juhu that we want to buy."

Saif also wants to sign new films. "Right now after Vishal's Omkara I only have Siddharth Anand's next. He's been busy writing, so I only have a rough idea of what it's all about. Then Abbas-Mastan's next and also UTV who are keen to start something new.

You know, after Rang De Basanti, where I really enjoyed the first-half, it's time to do some really different work. I remember speaking to Rakeysh Mehra once for something else that didn't grab me."

What about Saif's sister? "Soha is good in Rang De Basanti. She needs to be her own person. But sometimes I get the feeling she feels she has to act a certain way to qualify as a typical heroine. She looks uncomfortable doing that. When she acts calmly and does her delivery and accent her own way, she comes across naturally. She can't fake it."

Soha seeks Saif's advice. "But only in an indirect way. Perhaps I should sit down with her and take more interest in her work. But yeah, I need the time to do so."

Saif feels his life is coming together this year. "I feel much calmer. What's real is real. No duality and lies in my life. I'm more in charge of my life and environment."

Marriage to Rosa is definitely on the cards. "I should think so厃es. I'd like that. I wouldn't like to say when. You'll be one of the first to know. I got into this relationship with that end (marriage) in mind.

It's never been a casual let's-spend-some-time-together kind of bonding. I think some relationships are permanent from the start. A lady had once said to me that whatever relationships I've are meant to culminate in marriage."

So is Saif incapable of frivolous relationships? "I'm sure I am. But I don't want to right now. Frivolities aren't a part of my life right now. I think marrying Rosa is the right thing to do in every way.

She has made some pretty severe changes in her life卨ike changing her location and the entire environment around her just to be with me. I think it's a huge sacrifice. And it needs to respected."

The new power-packed confident Saif is a change from the yes-no-maybe Saif one used to know. "Well卪aybe yes, no maybe," he chuckles.

Rani will not sleep with Abhishek

Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee is refusing to sleep with Abhishek Bachchan, saying that there is more to marriage than sharing a bed.

Confused? Well don抰 be. This is part of the storyline to Karan Johar抯 forthcoming melodrama Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, and is just one of the scenes shown in the first released trailer.

The trailer, which you can see for yourself below, also features Shah Rukh Khan filled with tears, as he tries to reason with his wife Preity Zinta. Amitabh Bachchan is shown providing relationship advice from his hospital bed.

Abhishek Bachchan is all set to work with his best pal Goldie Behl once again after Bas Itna Sa Khwab Hai. Goldie抯 next directorial venture will be movie Drona which is a fast-paced thriller with romance and action.

Shrishti Arya, sister of Goldie Behl confirms that China is one of the places where they are planning to shoot. While cinematographer Sameer Arya will shoot the film. Shrishti Arya informed that Drona is a working title and they are yet to zero in on final title. There will be two actresses with Abhishek Bachchan in the film. Behl refused to reveal any more details about the movie.

Shrishti informed that the film will be made under the banner of Rose Movies, the same banner which produced their last movie Bas Itna Sa Khwab Hai.

Everything seems to be going fine for Hrithik Roshan抯 mega movie, Krrish. The film is making news for controversy surrounding the Prakash Jaju-Priyanka Chopra spat.

Besides that, Rakesh Roshan has already announced a Tamil version of the film and he is also considering some merchandise for the film. The film抯 storyline, costume, and appeal are already much in speculation with the masses. The film releases on June 23.

Though introduced in Yuvakudu, she was better noticed in the super hit film Kushi. After that there was no looking back for this fat lipped beaty.

A confused Big B or new style statement?

Suman and Kim out, Suri in

Shekhar Suman was set to appear in a new feature film, Moonlight, as Perizaad Zorabian and Kim Sharma抯 leading man.

The film was to go on the floors by May 2005, and Raman Bharadwaj was to make his directorial debut with this Hinglish film.

However, Suman has now been dumped from the film after the director shot for 10 days in and around Mumbai; Bharadwaj couldn抰 see eye to eye with Shekhar on various issues. Unable to digest the fact that Shekhar was trying to dominate him, Raman decided to sack Shekhar and replace him with Sanjay Suri.
