Robin, Claudine FAMAS big winners

MANILA -- Claudine Barretto and Robin Padilla were the big winners in the 54th Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) awards night held at the NBN-4 studios, Visayas Avenue, Quezon City.

Angelica gets real

AT a relatively young age of 22, she is an actress with serious credentials, with quite a long filmography that dates back to 1993梙er days as a sweet and pretty child star.

Of her extensive silver-screen appearances, she was most loved in her role as the poor Becky in Sarah, Ang Munting Prinsesa (1995) and well-applauded in the film Separada (1994), which won her a Best Child Actress trophy from the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Science (Famas).

In her teens, Angelica Panganiban抯 blossoming face garnered her a lead role in Santa Santita. This year she will appear in yet another starring role in the thriller White Lady.

But what some gossip and celebrity writers seem to only talk about is her alleged smoking habits, her weight, her breakup with the actor Carlo Aquino and most of all her curvaceous body. She is so sexy and alluring, it is all too easy to overlook that Angelica抯 biggest asset may be her talent and her enormous potential.
