betul tu speed lagi elok guna shoretening jer semua lebih garing. tapi kalau terdesak boleh la campur.

cuma dewi rasa ratio tepung speed terlebih sikit

bukan garing dewi tapi rapuh...kalu kurang shortening karipap tu jadik a bit keras tak rapuh or peroi....yg me buat ni guna sume shortening...bila makan dia jatuh berderai sbb terlalu peroi/rapuh...

ari tu me buat ok jer...tp sbb ada org kata berderai so me dah terai buat smula & memang berderai pun kalu guna 200gm tepung + 75gm shortening tu....so sat gi me tepek smula resepi baru after kali ke-2 modified.....

Spiral Curry Puff




Spiral Curry Puff aka Karipap Pusing - setelah dimodified kesekian kalinya..

Bahan-bahan
For water dough:
200 gm tepung gandum
125 ml air dicampur dgn sedikit garam
1 sudu besar shortening

For oil dough:
200 gm tepung gandum
100 gm shortening

Method (Sori ah malas nak translate)

To make water dough:
Place flour in a mixing bowl. Rub in shortening and add in the water. Knead into a smooth dough.leave aside to rest for 10 minutes. Divide into 24 equal portions.


To make oil dough:
Rub shortening or margarine into the flour to form an oily dough. Divide into 24 equal portions.



To combine into pastry:
Wrap oil dough inside water dough. Flatten the dough and roll up. Repeat the process. Cut the rolled-up dough into two. Use a rolling pin to press it flat. Shape into a circle. Add filling and seal the sides. Pinch the edges to form a scallop design. Deep fry puffs in medium hot oil.

Dewi, adunan tepung setelah dicanai (untuk proses masukkan inti) boleh tak dipotong
mengikut acuan... contohnya nak buat karipap berbentuk bulat?  Kalau ada lebihan tepung
tu dah tak boleh gunakan lagilah?  Maaf ya... ni first time nak cuba buat karipap pusing ni..

emma...sume resepi lebih kurang sama jer...tak kisahlah resepi mana2 pun.....& kalu nak yg betul2 rapuh bubuh sume shortening instead of majerin......ni me dah buat experiment tau bukan tipu...hhehehe

karipap ni tak pakai acuan.... nak buat karipap bulat tangkup jer dua keping tepung tu ..... satu buh inti satu lagi tutup kan dia. kalau guna satu jer jadik karipap biasa la.

biasa tak derlebihan tepung karipap pusing ni... kalau buat karipap tepung sekilo .. seelok2 nyar beli kentang atai keledek sekilo juga untuk inti.

kalau ada terlebih tepung tu inti tak cukup,balut tepun tu dgn plastik dan simpan dlm peti ais.

tak pun .. leperkan / canai lan jer macam biasa tapi kasi dia membujur sikit dan goreng jer kepingan teping tu . nanti dia jadik cam kuih lidah buaya tu. lepas tu leh sira dgn gula. rangup dan sedap. nak pedas leh sira dgn gula dan cili.

jaja, shida guna acuan karipap. so shida leperkan betul2 ikut acuan. tapi besarkan sikit le supaya dia boleh menangkup dengan elok.

oh, takyah guna marjerin ekk :hmm: rugi nyer gi beli marjerin (1kg lak tu :kant: ) semata-mata utk wat karipap pusing nie... nak kena beli shortening la pulak :nyorok:
me nak kelim karipap pung blom pass :nerd: ader ati nak wat karipap pusing :lol

leh gak guna cara ni ... kalau lebihan tepung cam ni yg dimaksudkan jgn buang ...

adunkan balik leper2 kan dan potong2 halus2 dlm 1-2 cm lebar dan 2-3 cm panjang dan goreng. pes tu leh sira ngan gula dan cili. sedap gak tu.

me nak kelim karipap pung ...


apa lak rogi beli majerin...buleh wat kek lah...1 biji kek leh guna 250 gm majerin so 4 kali buat kek dah abis 1 kg majerin....-->> skang ni me guna majerin jer wat kek2...dah lama dah tak guna butter....tambah2 kalu yg suh buh minyak or butter dicairkan --->> me guna majerin jer....

shortening tu beli yg paket kecik skali.....lebih2 tu leh wat pau....

mula2 tenguk memang susah nak wat karipap pusing ni tp bila dah start buat takdelah susah mana...senang jer....me buat stail gulung tikar jer....kelim tu me mula2 buat trial n error jer dulu...bila dah agak2 menjadi tu barulah me kelim betul2...tak kisahlah kelim senget ker besar ker...janji inti kat dalam tu tak keluar dah....

haah betul kata speed. buat karipap pusing ni senang je. shida gulung macam gulung tikar. bayangkan sebelum ni tak pernah buat karipap pun. mula2 buat terus buat karipap pusing. tapi siap print dulu le caranya. kalau tak silap maisya ada kasi caranya. doh pertama tak jadi. buat doh ke2 baru menjadi.

ff:terailah wat kek guna majerin..to me takde beza mane kalu guna majerin or butter unless kalu guna butter yg mahal tu....
