simpati ngan adex. takpe ade hikmah sebenarnye tu..
teja ade check kat doc n teja ade tanya ape punca keguguran ni sebenarnye. dia kata banyak sebab antaranye baby tak normal.. so baby takleh survive. kalau baby hidup pun mayb akan ade kemungkinan baby cacat, otak lemah dan sebagainye..
teja paham perasaan adex.. teja pun sedey gak. |

lady tgh berusaha utk mendapatkan baby kedua...mmg mengharap sgt...dan selalu kecewa bila period dtg tiap2 bulan...
mmg tahu...kalau boleh takmo pikir sgt...tak nak mengharap...tp susahlah...sbb mmg sentiasa tertunggu setiap bulan kan...so..secara tak lansung mmg takleh lari dr stress tu... |

Sebab thread ini panjang sangat saya nak tanya dua soalan
1. Folic Acid kita bole ambil sampai kandungan berapa bulan?
2. Bila doktor di Malaysia start bagi obimin kpd ibu mengandung?
Balik Malaysia hari itu ada beli Obimin 4 botol -- lupalah pulak pesanan doktor tu. Nak called dia - kad dia pulak dah hilang. Seingat saya dia ckp bila kandungan 20 weeks boleh start makan Obimin.

'Folic acid helps fertility in women'
Women who take folic acid supplements every day have a better chance of getting pregnant, say researchers. Long known to safeguard the health of the unborn baby, this is the first time folic acid, a form of vitamin B, has been shown to aid conception too. A study involving more than 18,000 women showed multivitamins - particularly folic acid - improve a woman's fertility. Those taking a supplement regularly had a 40 per cent lower risk of suffering problems producing eggs - the second biggest cause of female infertility. Around 150,000 British couples each year struggle to start a family because the woman is failing to ovulate, or ovulating erratically. In the study, US researchers analysed the progress of 18,500 nurses hoping to become pregnant over an eight-year period in the 1990s. They found 13 per cent experienced difficulties, with one in five of those given a diagnosis being told they had ovulation problems. The study looked at the women's diets, whether they took multivitamins and for how long. Those taking multivitamins, which included folic acid, for six days a week or more had a 40 per cent lower risk of ovulatory failure, compared with those who did not take a pill. Women who took a pill on three to five days a week had a 30 per cent cut in risk, while those taking pills for two days or less were no better off than women not taking supplements. The findings were released today at the American Society for Reproductive Medicine annual meeting in New Orleans. Dr Jorge Chavarro, a research fellow at Harvard School of Public Health, Boston, said the analysis showed folic acid was one of the most important reasons for the reduction in risk, although some other vitamins played a part. He said: 'The beneficial effect on fertility continued to increase as women consumed higher amounts of folic acid. 'It looks like folic acid is a major player in reproduction.' In the UK, 1mg of folic acid daily is regarded as the safe upper limit. Women hoping to become pregnant are currently advised to take a 0.4mg supplement of folic acid every day after stopping contraception, and for the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. But the advice is designed to prevent birth defects in the unborn baby - rather than help them get pregnant. Dr Chavarro said up to 20 per cent of infertility is triggered by ovulation problems. He said 'This is a significant cause of infertility and it was borne out in our study. 'It is better for women to take a multivitamin than not, if they are trying to get pregnant, because there is a great variation in folic acid intake through the diet.' He said it was still unclear how folic acid - the synthetic form of folate, a B vitamin - worked in securing pregnancy. But research last year suggested it might help embryo survival, he added. The vitamin, which is critical in the womb for brain development, is found in citrus fruits, tomatoes, green leafy vegetables and wholegrains. Deficiency can trigger severe brain and spinal birth defects such as spina bifida, in which the neural tube fails to close properly at the lower end causing paralysis or loss of bowel and bladder control. In the US, folic acid is added to cereal and flour products and rates of birth defects have dropped as a result. Some breakfast cereals have added folic acid but pressure has been building for national fortification of foods in the UK and it is currently under consideration by the Food Standards Agency, which has a public consultation underway. The agency has been concerned that folic acid could mask the existence of anaemia in the elderly, resulting from vitamin B12 deficiency. Britons spend around |
