With Concert Cancellation, Too Sad To Eat, TVXQ Depressed and Remained In Their Hotel Rooms All Day

Korean idol group TVXQ's first concert in Taiwan wrapped up smoothly despite the threatening typhoon. However, last night's second concert was forced to be cancelled. When the five members heard the dampening news after returning to their hotel, they were very disappointed. They felt so depressed that they could not eat their midnight snack after their performance. Yesterday, the TVXQ members stayed in their hotel rooms all day long, while hundreds of their fans gathered and waited in their hotel lobby, but were unfortunately unable to get a glimpse of their idols. Due to the disruptions in plane flights by the typhoon, TVXQ, who was suppose to take a flight to Korea this afternoon, may need to delay their travel itinerary.
In recent years, TVXQ gave many performances in Korea, Japan, and China and have faced many obstacles. However, this is the first time they have ever performed through a typhoon. The five members skidded on the stage many times and some had even slipped and fell causing their fans to be very concerned for them. Yesterday, the members woke up around 3 pm - 4 pm in the afternoon. When they heard about their fans' concern, the members said that although they did experience some tribulations during their performance, however, all of them are doing well. The only regret they have is they were unable to complete their concert performance and they are sorry to their fans.
Organizers indicated that starting next Tuesday, they will begin processing refunds to the ticket holders of the second concert. Fans can call them directly for more information. Due to their inexperience, as this is the first time for these organizers to undertake such a large-scale concert, fans had many complaints. Yesterday's cancelled performance, including performance expenses to refund handling and follow-up, will at least reach an estimated cost of loss of around NT$ 30 million (roughly over US$ 900 K).
