No offence....but SYA looks bit "old" to pair up with KSS .... I was dreaming for Song Hye Gyo instead.
Ha...ha...ha... I guess I still havent got over them since FULL HOUSE.
To begin with, a scene showing Geun Woo抯 mother prays for his son抯 success of his sons application as a Professor.
Geun Woo (KSS) had been a lecturer in the Universiti for several years.
Today the committee will decide whether Geun woo will be qualified for the job as a Professor.
In the meanwhile, Seung Joo (Geun woo抯 girlfriend played by SYA ) attends the celebration & the launching of her father's project. Seung Joo抯 father had always wanted to develop & turn one of the islands into a Resort Island.
Today, it seems all is come true.
It seems Seung Joo had been anxiously trying to call Geun Woo, somehow he doesn抰 answers them.
Geun Woo receives the bad news.
The reason Geun Woo had been turned down repeatedly, because he is not kind of person who is submissive towards the senior professors, always pursues the honest career & lack of flexibility.
The mother (& later his family) gets very disappointed with Geun woo抯 news.
Geun Woo is very down spirited...all this happened on Geun woo抯 birthday!
Seung joo gives a belt to Gunwoo as a birthday present. Upon hearing Geun woo抯 bad news, she is upset. Seungjoo blames Gunwoo for his inflexibility.
Geun Woo then tells Seungjoo to go out with a professor.
Seung Joo in in the bad mood, after having the argument with Geun Woo.
She gets very rude towards her aunt (Soo Ah's mother) .
Soo Ah is Seung Joo's cousin. She is secretly having love interest in Geun Woo. Soo Ah is rather reserved and lacks courage to show her love to Geun Woo.
Soo Ah has all the time growing up wearing Seung Joo抯 clothes & she doesn抰
quite like the very confident- Seung Joo.nevertheless, Soo Ah has never had the courage to show her dislikes / feelings towards Seung Joo.
Seung Joo抯 father hears the news about Geun Woo's repeated failing application and that he comes from a poor family.
So he calls Geun Woo to meet & tells Geun Woo about his future intentions to pass down his company to Seung Joo.
He doesn抰 wish for Seung Joo to settle down too quickly yet.
Then Geun Woo replies he doesn抰 want to marry Seung Joo.
Geun Woo sends a message to Seung joo saying that he wants to break up with her.
Basically Geun Woo felt he is no match to this rich & confident Seung Joo and the reason for him being the the oldest son of the poor family.
Seung Joo got pretty mad at first with Geun Woo but later she agrees with him that they should break up (reluctantly).
