Work has begun on the set of the MBC drama "Air City" which stars Choi Ji-Woo and Lee Jung-Jae. Choi Ji-Woo will be playing the role of an anline chief operating officer. The role requires the actress to be multi-lingual and is posing a high level of challenge.
According to staff, Choi Ji-Woo is known to memorize her scripts well but in "Air City", she's been experiencing more NGs than usual due to the difficulty of having to memorize her lines in different languages, including English and Mandarin. The actress has been working hard memorizing her dialogue, sometimes using 4-5 hours to memorize her lines instead of the usual 1-2 hours. Nicknamed the "Queen of Korean Drama", the actress wants to put in her best for this role.
"Air City" will debut on MBC during the weekend on May 12.
Season 1 consists of 20 episodes and will conclude on July 15.

MBC와 덴츠는 이번 계약을 계기로 <에어시티>의 MD(머천다이징 ) 등 2차 부가 사업에 대한 일본 및 범아시아권 수출을 공동 진행하는 방안에 대해서도 긍정적으로 논의 중이다. 이외에 덴츠는 리메이크를 통한 일본판 <에어시티>의 제작에 대해서도 관심을 가지고 있는 것으로 알려졌다. 때문에 MBC는 이번 계약을 단순 선수출이 아닌 선투자 형식으로 보고 있는 것.
