kali ni gigi bongsu aku ni tak keluar langsung...kedudukan terbaring kat dalam gusi. doc suruh buang. aku pegi klnik biasa...diaorang refer pakar pergigian kat spital selayang.
aku kena buang gak..dah lama tangguh sbb takut. penyudahkan aku yg suffer sbb on off sakit. gigi tu rosak kat dalam gusi. peh tu keluar darah...
doc dah bising kat aku. ni kira nekad jelah... |

aaaa sama la kes kita ... I pun ada 2.
Mula2 tumbuh belah kanan bawah ... the first time cabut gigi properly kat dentist masa dah bebeso ni ler.... kena RM300. sbb ni first time, so I didn't know what to expect. cuma org kata tak sakit... memang la masa cabut tu tak sakit .... ada bius.... ada la surgery sket ... siap nampak doktor tu dok menjahit ....dpt mc boleh babai2 lagi kat ofismate hehehe .... tapi after few hours... rasa cam nak mati ooo....asyik kejap-kejap buang darah dr lam mulut .... satu kepala mcm rasa nak tercabut ... pas tu tak tahan sgt sakit, pergi balik klinik ... mintak doktor do something ... rupanya, nurse dia lupa letak kain putih (mcm utk luka tu)... padan ler melambak-lambak darah keluar ... lepas tu, dia bagi painkiller yg kuat sket kut .. warna purple tu ... then dia suruh makan benda sejuk utk kurangkan darah kuar ..... uwaaaa .... sejak hari tu serik aaaa nak cabut gigi ....
but now I am facing another problem, graham bongsu belah kiri bawah plak nak tumbuh ... ni mcm u jugak ... duduk dalam gusi pada mulanya sampai la gusi tu dah terbuka dan nampak sikit gigi tu surface. Doktor dah x-ray dia kata kena buat buat major surgery gak ... pasal gigi terbaring & blocked oleh gigi yg sebelum dia tu. memang dia tak boleh naik dah...... mmg sakit jer area tu ... penah I mtg kat Colombo last year, gigi ni sakit ... I rasa pasal gusi nak terbuka kut ... muka I bengkak cam kena beguk. baru ni gi buat scaling, dia kata inside pipi I tu dah luka2 pasal gigi graham bongsu (baru tau ada) yg atas dok makan area tu cos gigi grahambongsu bawah tak leh naik. So dia propose cabut yang atas dulu.... errkk .... taktau nak cakap apa ...Im more concern gigi bawah yg dlm gusi mcm u tu .... takut gak .... kut2 kena urat ker ..... skrang ni selalu infected...
So bila infected the only thing yg Dr can do is furnish me with antibiotic. Mine always flagyl & amoxicilin.
Wish you luck and nanti kongsi ler your experience eh kalau dah buat .... gerun yg teramat la ni .... dah 2 tahun doktor suruh cabutttt ...... |

been there and done that. got it done at hukm. under local anaesthesia. during surgery no pain whatsoever tapi after 30 min of op memanglah teramat sakitnya. personally i think the oral surgeon should've used a longer acting local anaesthesia. my mouth and face hurt and swollen like **** for 5 days but mc given for 3 days only walaupun i asked for more days. geram jugak..kalau i op kaki dia aku bagi mc 3 hari baru dia tau mcm mana rasa pi keja bengkak dan sakit. anyway skrg dah ok. worth going thru the op sbb benci bila food stuck around gums, kena korek slalu dan frequently infected. my suggestion bite the bullet dan mintak mc atau amik leave 1 minggu. pi hukm lah kalau tinggal kl sbb lebih murah. dentist care to comment? |

aku penah wat kat spital selayang.... 3 thn lepas...gigi bongsu gaks...mmgla berisiko..aku buang keempat2nyer skali...mmg doc akan ckp..rahang mebi patah..urat saraf kat lidah takde utk j/masa 2/3 bulan...
so far, alhamdulillah..sampai la nih takde aper2 masalah...cumer lepas bedah tuh..muka aku beso 2 kali ganda ler..hahaha..lawak tul...
kalo ko risau..tekanan darah ko naik/turun..degupan jantung ko laju..just rileks jer..mesti doc bg options..samada nak bius di mulut ker..separuh sedar ker..atau langsung tak sedar.....aku amik langsung tak sedar...
yg penting...yakin ngan diri ko..ngan doc ko...dan paling penting..tawakal byk2
p/s: aku dpt dentist yg namernyer cam org thailand tuh...dah tak ingat namernyer..nice dentist...:D |

puteri pun ada masalah yg sama.. waht more i have gum problem... lar ni every month, gusi mesti bengkak dan tu disebabkan oleh gigi bungsi is facing the pipi dan dia letak hujung dekat rahang. doc suh buang.. dah nak dekat 2 tawun masih bertahan!! amik papaya abdtak (pepes) dan antibiotik fr pharmacy... takut laaaaaaaaaaa |

ko kena admit tak? doc memang inform aku smada nak bius separuh sedar atau bius abih. tp masa op tu...baring ke or duduk. sebelum op diaorang ambik darah ke..? baper lama doc kasi mc? |

aku buat wisdom tooth extraction nye surgery ni kat sepital putrajaya... dr norhayati kot (pakar bedah mulut)... mmg best dia..sebab lembut and teror... ada lagi 3 gigi bongsu tak keluor2 ni ...kalau aku nak buang..aku akan buat dgn dia gak sebab gigi aku yg kecik dan dr lain kata complicated tu pon dia buat nampak cam kacang jek... siap humming2 nyanyi lagi |

sbb kat selayang tuh mmg doc pakar.....aku dpt mc 2 mggu...seminggu lepas operate..pi balik utk cabut jahitan....
masa operate tuh...aku mkn pil..kecik jer..blom sempat nak masuk lif nak ke OT, aku dah terlelap...tp mmg baringla... |

me discover ada problem with wisdom teetth masa dok study kat obersea, gi hosp, doc kat situ siap pi refer kat sorang specialist dentist melayu tu... takut kita tak paham apa yg dia cakap.. siap buat x-ray and buat appt utk surgery.....tapi i chickened out masa dekat2 nak buat operation... gelabah sebab masa nak bius tu dekat2 6 org bakal2 dentist dok keliling.. tak sanggup aku jadi bahan experiment depa... soo.. sampai la ni gigi2 tu dok ada lagi dan masih tak kuar lagi.. hmmm.. bila la aku akan ada semangat utk buat minor surgery ni... |

students are there to learn. no way they're allowed to do any procedures on you esp in overseas countries. di malaysia pun sama jugak...anyway if u don't want any students there its your right but do ask the oral surgeon concerned coz he or she'll understand.. masa i buat kat hukm there were no students around. so tunggu apa lagi esp if the tooth bothers u. |

aku bernasib baik sbb mula2 rasa sakit, gigi bungsu dah 3/4 terkeluar,w/pun dari luaran mmg tak nampak langsung gg tu,nampak gusi jer yg melapisi... so dentist cabut dgn kaedah biasa, tak perlu pembedahan...waktu tu aku pi klinik swasta, siap bawak duit 2-3 ratus utk bayaran pembedahan tu, at last kena rm50 jer,,,syukur.... |

Tabahkan hati, ya. Saya dah buat operation, disebabkan gigi bongsu ni. Had mine done about 3 months ago. Sakit, memanglah sakit... tapi once and for all... think you should just go and do it. Buat masa ni saya tinggal kat middle east, susah nak pilih-pilih dentist (insurance tak cover cost). Ada sorang dentist famous kat sini punyalah mahal. They wanted to charge me RM2400, for the operation. Had to find another dentist... nasib baik jumpa, walaupun jauh (drive umpama dari KL ke Seremban). Dengan dia, cuma kena charge RM300.
Mula-mula, saya memang degil tak nak buang... dok makan painkiller (Brufen). Tapi doc tu cakap, kalau tak cabut, takut nanti gusi infected. Then, kemungkinan akan ganggu keseluruhan gusi kat belah tu (betul ke? -effa? zachary? drm?). Takut juga bila dengar.. maklumlah, kot pasal tak nak cabut gigi yang sebatang tu, habis gigi lain pun rosak :geram:
Go for it!... All the best, and insya Allah... selepas seminggu (:lol - sebab sakit, kan... lepas seminggu baru hilang rasa nyesal...), u sure akan rasa, "mujur pergi cabut hari tu".
Lagi satu, kalau gusi kita turun (means u can see the neck of the teeth), itu infection juga ke? Many thanks.

yup!~ betul le kata dentist u tu Eizzey.... if x cabut, it may lead to infection & abnormalities such as pericoronitis, periodontal problems & caries. cysts & tumours may also arise at the tooth area!!
it is highly recomended for removal of 3rd molar (gigi bongsu) when :-
1. there is infection occurs associated with unerupted or impacted third molar teeth.
2. unrestorable caries (lubang x dapat ditampal) in 3rd molars or caries in the adjacent second molar (geraham sebelah gigi bongsu) which cannot satisfactorily be treated without the removal of the third molar.
3. periodontal disease due to the position of the third molar and its association with the second molar
4. cases of cyst formation or other related oral pathology
5. cases of external resorption of the third molar or of the second molar where this would appear to be caused by the third molar.
6. cases of fracture of the mandible in the third molar region or for a tooth involved in tumour resection. |

Thank you so much, for your reply. Ni nak tanya pasal gusi pula... kalau gusi kita turun (nampak neck of the teeth), itu dikira infection juga ke? Any treatment yang kita boleh buat to cure them? Saya pernah tanya kat dentist.. dia kata itu disebabkan cara kita memberus gigi (terlalu kuat/menekan). And, there's no treatment for it. Betulkah? Terima kasih, again. :tq::tq: |
