dorang pasang atas inisiatif sendiri, alex...
bendera tu boleh dibeli di balai2 rakyat ..RC...CCC...harga tak pasti arr skarang...(3 tahun lepas cuma $ 3 jer)

HDB dah siapkan hook dia jer kat tembok..

tu yg alex pelik tu.... alex tgk semua bendera tu elok & sama level je..... tu yg lex ingat gov yg supply / pasangkan bendera kat hdb block....

lebih dari 15 tahun lepas, HDB dah mula pasang hooks kat rumah2 flat....pasal sebelum tu bendera2 dipasang simpang siur...

Largest ever orchestra put together for NDP 2007

SINGAPORE : 240 musicians are coming together for the largest orchestra to be put together for this year's National Day Parade.

Besides the soloists, the NDP 2007 orchestra features Malay percussionists from "I-Yan Pulse", Indian Ensemble from Bhaskar's Arts Academy and the Singapore Armed Forces Central Band.

It's also the first time the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and the Singapore Chinese Orchestra are sharing the same stage.

Tsung Yeh, music director for NDP 2007 says: "This is a massive force with all the different groups. They have to rehearse separately and finally coming together. The good thing is that everyone is so professional and we made it quite well. I'm very proud of this product and this is the first time I'm presenting this to the Singapore people, and they deserve this wonderful result."

The orchestra also showcases young up-and-coming Singapore musical talents like pianist Jonathan Shin.

"The atmosphere (here) is fantastic since it's in the open, and of course the atmosphere is even more exciting. And personally for me it's a once in a lifetime experience, I don't think I can have it anywhere else," says Shin.

The orchestra will be providing the music for almost the entire parade, including the parade's march-in and the parade's show segment. - CNA /ls
