I've finished reading False Impression. Good book with JA's typical flair for investigative writing. But all in all, I think his Honor Among Thieves and The Eleventh Commandment are better.

But then, the ending for FI kinda tergantung. I suppose the bad guy got arrested in the end but for the past years he had been really lucky. Whose to say that the didn't manage to wiggled himself out of that one as well in the end? Hhmmmm some thoughts to shine on

Wow! Finally i managed to finish a book this year! And thanks to False Impression i managed to hit my quota for 2006 :nerd:

Anyway, I agree with the rest of you who has read this particular book. As usual ada element of suspense and things kinda turned out they way u didnt expect it to (like when Fenston called the insurer and Christie's fellow to value the painting, or when the crazy gymnast "decapitated" van gogh) macam dah boleh agak yg mesti ada something yg anna dah buat sebelum tu. Tht's just 2 name a few lah. Archer has become quite predictable i guess....

But hey, i still enjoy the twist and turn that's so "Archerish"..if u know wht i mean lah..

Yup....fenston's fate is still anybody's guess.....he was the dictator's henchman, so he could still escape this time...(chewaahh..i take it so seriously aye?)

i love to read archer's novels.rsnyer yg first is kane n abel kot..after pmr or time nak tg peksa spm...mmg bc page to page non stop...tp yg paling i minat is as the crow flies...sbb rs inspired even pegang jek buku tuh..lamanyer tak bc his newest collection
