Kahn: Lehmann must quit Gunners

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Oliver Kahn has told rival Jen Lehmann to quit Arsenal and save his international career.The 38-year-old has not played for the Gunners since August after failing to reclaim the number one spot from Manuel Almunia.
Lehmann has hinted of a possible return to the Bundesliga in a desperate attempt to boost his chances of starting for Germany in next year's Euro 2008 finals.
And now Kahn has urged his international rival to leave North London in the transfer window if he wants to figure in Austria and Switzerland.
"Jens Lehmann's services to the national team have been impeccable, but you can't play in a European Championship when you are not in the team," Khan told DSF.
"That's why it would be best for him to go and play where he will be in the team."
Wolfsburg coach Felix Magath has already indicated he would be interested in signing the former Borussia Dortmund keeper in January.

Bundesliga - Ismael to join Hanover

Bayern Munich's out-of-favour defender Valerien Ismael is to join fellow Bundesliga side Hanover in January.
The uncapped 32-year-old Frenchman joined Bayern from Werder Bremenin 2005 but, after a good debut campaign, broke his leg and only playedonce last season.
"We have reached agreement with Bayern,"Hanover sports director Christan Hochstaetter declared, before addingthat the former Lens, Crystal Palace and Strasbourg man's contract will run through to 2010.
Bayernmanager Uli Hoeness told Ismael last month he could leave during themid-season break, an offer that seemed destined to happen after theplayer then criticised the manner in which he had been dealt with byBayern's technical staff.
The Bundesliga leaders, meanwhile, will be without Turkey midfielder Halil Altintopfor the last three matches before the winter break due to a kneeinjury. He is expected to return before the German season restarts inFebruary.
