Rusia porem saying not kanceled. But there are preblems. So..expect lot of delays. Same isue-> Time and high kos.

The Sukhoi T-50(PAK-FA) is not running on schedule. Flight tests were previously to begin this Fall but with first flight date changing all the time it is impossible to say when this fighter will fly.

With the same factory(KnAAPO) that is supposed to make the SSJ-100 passenger jet also being used to build the T-50 both projects can cause significant problems for each other. With the SSJ-100 falling behind the T-50 certainly can't accelerate its own development.

I don't know what the costs are at this point, certainly not 20 Billion USD. If comparing to the disappointing "Bulava" ICBM which is costing an average 5 Billion Roubles(over 200 Million USD) per year since about 2003 the PAK-FA may also be seeing such large costs. If anything the Bulava may be canceled(and replaced with cheaper R-29RMU3) in favor of developing better non-Nuclear weapons(such as PAK-FA).

Baguih la tak kener kensel. Alah, program F-22 Raptor ngan JSF-35 Lightning pun penah gak delay pesal spiralling operating costs ....

Apehal la Sukhoi tak develop joint-financing programe utk PAK-FA nih, cam multi-finaning utk JSF-35 oleh various US allies? I mean, China & India, musti nak alternative kpd ancaman F-22 & JSF-35, so PAK-FA  patutnya logical option lah .....

Sukhoi & Ruskie Govt. patutnya approach India, China .... malah Venezuela utk ambah fund bagi develop PAKFA ... baru cun.

Chengdu J-13牋XXJ J-13 (J-XX, JianJiji-13, F-13) J-10 A Twin Engine

Following the successful development of the J-10 fighter, Chengdu and its subordinated 611 Aircraft Design Institute began to work on an enlarged twin-engine version of the J-10 to compete with Shenyang’s J-12 project for the PLAAF’s 4th generation fighter programme. The new fighter, which was reportedly designated J-13, inherited the J-10’s canard delta design and resembles the Russian Mikoyan MiG MFI (Project 1.44) fifth-generation fighter demonstrator in many aspects. The J-13 design is less radical in terms of design and technology compared to the Shenyang J-12, and therefore may stand a better chance of becoming successful.

It was reported that Russian MAPO-MIG has been working with Chengdu since the late 1990s to develop a new generation fighter based on the J-10 design. The J-13 may be powered by two improved AL-41 turbofan engines with thrust-vectoring nozzles and possibly supersonic cruise capability too, giving a maximum take-off weight of 20t. If this is proven to be true, the J-13 will be a high-performance heavyweight fighter superior to the European EF-2000 Typhoon and French Rafale, though it may not be as capable as the F/A-22 Raptor.

Aku nye lecturer penah keje dgn Honda citer ada satu bac steering wheel dr China, drpd 100 hanya 2 lepas QC test. Tapi ni mungkin isolated incident tetapi this shows they're not perfect either.

Walaupun barang tentera China ni kita boleh diragui kualiti, tp China operate barangan ketenteraannya dlm bilangan byk, kalo QC teruk depa ble tukar an improve sendiri. kalo bab Malaysia setakat beli beberapa bijik barangan tentera cina, kalo ade masalah QC kite yg teruk, pasal nak improve mesti tak tau nye coz bukan kite yg design unless pihak China ni reliable dr segi sokongan dan pembekalan barang ganti.Jgn jd cam MIG yang aku baca memang hampeh bila nak provide support dan spare parts on time, tu teruk sgt tahap operasi Mig-29 RMAF.
