eh..silap paham tu sats...aku tanye nak bagi alasan ape nak amik kad hotel tuh...sebab bila check out mmg aweks kaunter tuh mintak..so ape alasan kukuh you cakap..takkan die blh bagi camtuh je...

  memang ada one or two of my collection tu tulis camtu gak...

tapi takde pepe pong... so consider it wokey kot...

well in fact, some hotels reuse the card by changing the codes at the magnet later...

others don't bother.

Well, you can just ignored it unless they ask for it , and if that so,

just say you want to kept it as a souvenir.

And of course if they insist to have it back.....then.......

Look's like those advertisment is a extra money earn for the hotel management.

One thing you might want to know is the one from Johor Baru is just as thin as the name card.

wah.... rupenye ada gak yang kumpul benda nih jugak....

sama macam hedd jugak....

tapi lum sempat amik gambar kad hed...

selalunya hotel akan bagi 2 kad, so hed akan simpan satu untuk collection

Normally hotel give two and i take two coz....i can use another one for exchange with others!

Infact i ever come a accross a room with three cards,

Two for the guest and one more already attach into the power supply slot in the room.

Actually there's many thing's can be collect.

i saw people collect matches, red packet, pen, phone card, even bus ticket!

However,one day if you happen to visit Taipei, suggest you stay at YMCA in taipei.

to me this is the most convenience place to move around in the city.

BEWARE OF HOTEL CARD KEYS
       This is pretty good info. Never even thought about key cards
containing anything other than an access code for the room!
       HOTEL KEY CARDS
       Ever wonder what is on your magnetic key card?
       Answer:
       a. Customer's name
       b. Customer's partial home address
       c. Hotel room number
       d. Check-in date and out dates
       e. Customer's credit card number and exp iration date!
       When you turn them in to the front desk your personal information is
there for any employee to access by simply scanning the card in the hotel
scanner. An employee can take a hand full of cards home and using a scanning
device, access the information onto a laptop computer and go shopping at
your expense.
       Simply put, hotels do not erase the information on these cards until
an employee reissues the card to the next hotel guest. At that time, the new
guest's information is electronically 'overwritten' on the card and the
previous guest's information is erased in the overwriting process.
       But until the card is rewritten for the next guest, it usually is
kept in a drawer at the front desk with YOUR INFORMATION ON IT!
       The bottom line is: Keep the cards, take them home with you, or
destroy them. NEVER leave them behind in the room or room wastebasket, and
NEVER turn them into the front desk when you check out of a room. They will
not charge you for the card (it's illegal) and you'll be sure you are not
leaving a lot of valuable personal information on it that could be easily
lifted off with any simple scanning device card reader.
       For the same reason, if you arrive at the airport and discover you
still have the card key in your pocket, do not toss it in an airport trash
basket. Take it home and destroy it by cutting it up, especially through the
electronic information strip!
       If you have a small magnet, pass it across the magnetic strip
several times. Then try it in the door, it will not work. It erases
everything on the card.

Look's like this is another excuse for making this as a hobby!

Thank you, however not every one card I collect myself,

some are from my friends.

i hv a lot too, b/n 20 - 40 i thnk. but ade yg sama gak. paling jauh or remote or hulu kat lake charles.
