Malaysia's salary market....

Hi everyone.....

Would like to know what is the market for our salary now. Let's share what's in the market now so that our bosses/company won't be 'salary abusive' to us.....
I think this would be a great oppurtunity to share especially now everybody's salary is not increasing but our expences is increasing way faster than our pay....

I guess it would be great if we can write like this....

Anyway, i'll share mine first......

Nature of Job: Events Management
position: Event Coordinator
Years of Experience:2 years as part time last time
Years spent in current company:3 months
Salary:RM2,100
Allowance:RM200-300(adjust accordingly every month) + RM100 touch n go
Benefits: medical (with MC Only) no epf and socso!

Pls advice if this my pay is lower than the market price???

i think current market price for young engineer is rm3500.

btw,since u didnt get any epf/socso, it meant u r still considered as part-timer/contract, is it?

anyway... yes, i am on contract basis..
My parents thought that it is very funny not to have epf and socso even if i'm contract basis.
But i heard that it\s normal... So afterall i dunno whether it's normal or it's me being cheated....

just to share with u guys... i have a friend that is working as a cabin crew... i should say that their pay is damn good man....

The details are more or less like this..

Nature of Job: Airline (Cathay Pacific)
Position: Cabin Crew
Years of Experience: None
Years spent in current company: None
Salary: RM 4,500 basic
Allowance: Flying Allowance RM50/hour and Ground Allowance RM30/hour.
Benefits: of course flying for free

The details are more or less like this... i was drolling when i heard this...

err.. i tot cabin crew basic salary is high...
but they do have great benefits & allowance....

i myself on contract basis... yearly renew without fail
we do have epf and socso
but medical benefits covers ourselves only... not including spouse or family

my salary is more or less like the cabin crew... as a system administrator in private company
but i do get event allowance 25% of salary times event month (8 months in total)
i do get f&b and uniform allowance
i do get weekly allowance if i choose to work on weekends
milage is full paid if travelling.. i heard there are companies who rejects milage claims eventho for office work

but for officers level at my place, the salary is not as good as others... pity them coz they have to work hard to claim OT

Salary: RM 25,000 ( per month )
Allowance: RM 3000 - RM 4000 (depend)
Benefits: Internet, Telephone, Medical and Pension

eh eh...nenet lynda pun ade kat sini ek..lain nick nya..

btw, cabin crew mmg la tgi gajinya..hv high expectation, n org berebut2 nak kan keja tuh..
so,bukan sebarang org boleh dpt..

dont compare orange n apple..

then boleh consider to work elsewhere kot

experienced engineers? senang je. one firm told me rules of thumb - kalau 13tahun = 13k at least. amacam?

my fren dah keja engineer 10 tahun, gaji RM8K..tu consider under paid ker?
