bukan tak mau lock awai2... syarat game tuh kena verify visually dolu pesawat yg telah dilihat dlm radar adalah pesawat musuh yg dijangkakan...bila dah zoom in to each other head on dan positively ident the enemy, baru depa boleh breakoff utk dogfight. cara amerikano tu cerita menggambarkan setelah break off depa telah berjaya berada di belakang miggies terlebih dahulu sebelum lock pakai infrared sensors utk launch the sidewinder olok2. mmg expectation kita menjangkakan dengan kelebihan performance miggies akan membolehkan ia mendahului hornet dlm bidang ini, ternyata manouverability hornet dan sensornya lebih baik. aku percaya pelot2 miggies pon coba outmanouvre dan lock hornet amerikano tuh dengan sebaik mungkin terutamanya dengan kelebihan irst yg ada pada mereka. lesson learned, tak leh underestimate sangat feter2 opponent apatah lagi dengan kurang flying pelot2 kita compared to pelot2 amerikano. |

Maybe dia org tak cerita yang americano tu kena FOX2 dulu on initial turn after merge, kan ker Mig ada helmet mounted sight yang link to the missiles, so 90 deg aspect angle pun boleh consider kill... but then again, shouldnt lost in the engagement sebab F18 and Mig 29 ni same class , or the Mig could have more advantage..
Most of the mariner tu memang dah experience, 2000 hrs on fighter jet, thats a lot. Compare dgn kita punya... tu jer la the only reason I can think of. |

thanks kelana, immediate reply indeed, that's the answer that i'm expecting from a person that has a feter jock's blood in his body. i have the same opinion as you, experience is the most valuable aspect (out of the other factors such as weaponry, aircraft performance, sensors etc...) that will determine the winner in any air combat scenario. |

Jangan lupa US pun can simulate Fox 2 dengan Aim-9x when in 90 degrees.

Wa rasa lagi harian macam mana RMAF ini boleh kalah marines F-18D wahal ia mampu kalah RAAF F-18 dlm 90an. |
