It's right, don't let your opponent a chance for escape or he/she'll hit you back. One more thing, make sure don't let him/her break your waza easily. While you doing nikajo, don't just press his/her's wrist down then twist his/her fingers together.

shudokan malaysia is expanding
- shudokan puchong will start this month of february
- shudokan penang also...

for the secondary school
we already entered in SMKA Maahad Hamidiah, kajang
SMAP Kajang is coming soon...

there's a lots more to update, many events was not yet covered for the gallery

tomorrow is Sensei Emma's birthday

following the tradition of Shudokan Australia
all black belt holder will throw the birthday boy/girl
and the attendence is compulsory to him/her

Great! Penang Shudokan is the 3rd Aikido dojo of Penang while there has 2 dojos else are another Yoshinkan dojo called Mushinkan Dojo (Jalan Kim Bian Aik) under Francis Ramasamy Sensei and as well as an Aikikai dojo (Green Hall).

shudokan malaysia will having a kyu test for juniors and seniors members

i just finished my test 5th kyu this afternoon in seremban
(shudokan institute of aikido)

Francis Sensei has been found Mushin Wado Shinpo or Mushindo Aikido lately,i saw it's poster in my old Aikikai dojo in Bangsar.

where do you train?

I train in Shudokan Malaysia Dojo, in Seri Kembangan
near The Mines Shopping Centre

the technique last night was
- yokomen uchi sokumen iriminage ichi

firstly, we block the attack
check, crosshand
put the elbow on uke's chest
extand our hand
turn
and finally throw
(uke do the side-fall)

but at the end
the sensei asked us
to enter directly
when uke is attacking

har har har
what an ugly fall for me...

any other comment?

Who is your sensei? I used to train at Yoshinkan Aikido KL & Selangor dojo at Tmn Maluri, but currently I am teaching and training at California, USA.

How long have you been training Yoshinkan Aikido? I have been started to train since I was 12yrs old.

I wanted to add my thought on this move is that when you entering toward Uke, the main focus is to use your hip power and movement of your sh**ei hand to break Uke balance.

Many students are discussing about this topic, how could we use the hip power to move away from or into Uke. This is how I train myself of doing it, while you are planing to move forward from your kamae, try to move you hip instaed of your legs. At first, you will feel uncomfortable and like wanting to fall, but the movement you have that feeling and you legs will automatically move with your body. This will force yourself to move with your hip and also you will learn to try to balance your body while you are moving.

What do you think?
