"Well, I don't have no idea. I don't know the actual timing it was happening. So, I don't know what's going on, so I just knew after. I think, it just so happened that we were shooting when it happened. But I think, it could be any girl or actress and it's just so easy to point me," says Carmen Soo about being involved in the breakup of Jericho Rosales and Heart Evangelista.

"First of all, I think, everyone went to Malaysia, it's kind of adjusting working here and the shoot of Malaysia is different, like the kind of hours. Of course, the style and what they like to see in the teleserye and script itself. It's a whole big adjustment and I think, it's an amazing experience. It's a learning experience for me and every single actor has something different to offer, and it's just an honor to be able to work with all of them," nakangiting pahayag ni Carmen.

PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) asked Carmen if she will consider continue working in the Philippines as an actress after Kahit Isang Saglit.

"Well, I have been asked before and, maybe, if another good project comes along. But unfortunately, I don't speak Tagalog just yet, so I have to stick to English for now," saad niya.

JERICHO'S SUPERSTAR STATUS IN MALAYSIA.

"Well, I don't watch too much TV, unfortunately," sagot niya. "But I heard about Pangako Sa 慪o and his name, but that was all I know about him. That he's big and he also did a Malay movie in Malaysia. So before I came here for the first press conference in April, I Googled him and found out more about him because I'm gonna work with him."

So, how does she find Jericho?

"Oh, he's great!" bulalas niya. "I've met him on the day of the press conference, just two hours before the press conference. And he's warm, he's nice, and I know that he's a big star. And I just realized how big star he is until I came here. I knew he's big, but maybe not that big... But wow, in awe! He's really nice, very warm, and very open to be working together and not like, 慜kay, I'll do my thing and you do your thing.' But you know, it's like, 慙et's work together.'"

Hindi naman itinanggi ni Carmen that she finds Jericho attractive.

"Of course! He's a very goodlooking man and nobody can deny that."

FALLING FOR ECHO. At present, wala raw love life o boyfriend na naiwan si Carmen sa Malaysia. Pero natawa ito when asked if it's possible for her to fall for Echo.

"I don't think that relationship is my priority right now, so, no!" natatawa niyang sabi. "But what I like most with Jericho is the fact that he has a very positive vibes around him, even though he's been going through a lot with his personal life.

"Actually, as I've said before, I didn't realize that he was going through that [breakup with Heart Evangelista] until probably more than a month after it happened. And I knew that he was upset about something, but I didn't know for what. But he always has a positive vibes and even till today when he is very tired, overworked, he still wants to be happy about things and really looking forward for every day. And I think, I learned that from him."

Hindi naman lingid sa karamihan na isa ang pangalan ni Carmen sa mga babaeng lumabas na diumano'y naging reason ng breakup noon nina Jericho at Heart.
Nagalit ba siya when she first heard about the issue?

"I'm kind of mad because nobody likes to be tagged as boyfriend stealer. They know. He knows, so okay."

"Actually, coming here in the Philippines is a bit of a culture shock for me because everyone is so involved in the entertainment industry, unlike in Malaysia that everyone can...you know, he can walk around. People can recognize him but he can do things alone. So, it's still a culture shock for me. But most of the time, he's busy doing a lot of things, that's why."

Mas kumportable nang makipag-usap sa local entertainment press ang Malaysian actress na si Carmen Soo, kesa noong mga unang araw ng pagdating niya sa Pilipinas para gawin ang higanteng teleserye nila ni Jericho Rosales, ang Kahit Isang Saglit na magsisimula nang ipalabas sa Lunes, September 15, sa Primetime Bida ng ABS-CBN. Medyo stiff kasi siya in her previous interviews.

"In March? Yeah, I didn't know the culture and how's everyone, and the kind of questions that will be asked. But now, I think it's safe to say I've been asked all the questions already. Ha-ha-ha!

"Many times. So, I think I'm getting used to it. But of course, in Malaysia they are not so interested with your personal life."

BOYFRIEND QUESTION. Marami na ang naitanong kay Carmen but not  about her love life. Curious na itinanong ng PEP kay Carmen kung may boyfriend ba siya na iniwan sa Malaysia.

"No, I don't," ngiti ni Carmen.

When was the last time na nagkaroon siya ng boyfriend?

"Late last year. It lasted a little over a year"

Wala nang boyfriend si Carmen nung una niyang ma-meet si Jericho sa una nilang press conference para sa Kahit Isang Saglit nung March this year.

Tinulungan ba siya ni Jericho na maibsan kahit konti ang lungkot sa puso niya?

Natawa muna si Carmen bago sumagot.

"Well, I think by that time I met him, I was already quite okay. But of course, with breakups, you are just used to being alone. But whatever pain that was caused by the breakup, it was already gone by the time I started [the taping for the show]. And I've always believed, that the good thing after a breakup is when you become so busy with your work. It's great. You don't have time to think about it."

PERSONAL QUESTIONS. Tinanong siya ng PEP kung nakailang boyfriends na ba siya. May pagka-shock pa siyang sumagot na ayaw daw niyang banggitin kung ilan. Nasya-shock ba talaga siya kapag tinatanong nang personal questions?

"Yes, yes, definitely. And I know these intrigues that surround the whole show, the little things that happen on the side. I understand the curiosity, and... Alam niya rin daw na naging girlfriend ni Echo si Kristine Hermosa, whom she already met.

"Yes, in ASAP. I met her backstage. Very beautiful, very sweet. We were introduced by Echo. Actually, we were waiting, standing by."

"She's very beautiful, very stunning," sabi pa ni Carmen about Kristine.

What about Heart? Is she also beautiful?

"I think they're both beautiful in their own way. They don't belong to the same look category. Different style, but both beautiful in their own way."

But who does she like more?

"Well, if I'm a guy it's easier to answer that. I think they're both beautiful in their own way. I cannot find a physical flaw in them, so far. They're both very stunning."

WHAT IF. Posible ba na ma-in love siya sa isang Pinoy?

"Yes, definitely. I never consider nationality to be a factor to the kind of boy I will fall for. So, it doesn憈 matter."

Ano ang nationality ng last boyfriend  niya?

"He's actually Chinese-Canadian. He's Chinese but born and raised in Canada."

What if Echo courts her?

"Ah, I haven't thought about that, although I've been asked many, many times. It just that, answering it has become a bit of a routine. Actually, I do not think about it. Maybe if he actually courts me, then I'll  think about it."

What does she like about Jericho?

"Among other things, he's a very talented actor. He's humble about it. He's very kind with his co-stars."

Physically?

"We'll definitely he's guwapo. No one can deny he's a very good looking man, very charming, very sweet, and caring. Like when I left home, he is very sensitive and he's like, 慏o you miss home? Don't worry.'  But yeah, he's guwapo," nakangiting tapos ni Carmen.
