Engine tidbit...
On What's Up this night Takuya talked about the two Johnny's Junior boys appearing in Engine. They are Arioka and Nakajima (see cast list above), but Takuya confessed that he had not known their names till now (this was recorded on 6th April), as he thought of them by their role names: Toru and Shuhei.
The two boys had come up to him very formally the first day they met, and Takuya had immediately asked them to forget their being senior and juniors of the same management office. They were to call him "Jiro" like all the members of the cast (without even the honorific suffix "-san"), and were not to stand on formality.
What with so many children and toys on the set, they tend to play games and such during shoots, but apparently Takuya put his foot down one day, saying "If you play with things, you put them away." The children had been heard to mutter "Jiro's fierce," as they tidied away the toys.
