boocik pernah duk mana2 hostel backpackers tak kat edinburgh?

i tengok rate hotel naik kaw2...nasib baik dah book awal2....

easyhotel edinburgh i book hari tu seharo 30 pound jer...i check for 4 june tu, 69 pound sehari... wah...

tengah contemplating ni...

most hostel backpackers yang i dah survey nearby Deacons House Cafe/St Andrew Bus Station/Princes Street, lebih kurang 50+ pound for private room 2 pax.

so...lets take a poll...

IF i take the backpackers private room, harga 58 pound, +ve point
1. got kitchen, so i boleh masak2 tapau untuk bekalan makanan hairy coo
2. spacious sikit
3. most prolly shared bathroom (i tak jumpa lagi yang ensuite bathroom)
4. if i checkput dari situ, i still boleh store my luggage tak? (ni soalan, bukan kenyataan).

IF i amik easyhotel edinburgh :
1. no kitchen, but can cook illegally
2. sempit (6-8 sqft)
3. ensuite bathroom

me dari coventry ke sunderland - reach sunderland pkol 3.15 ptg - dalton park tutup pkuol 6 ptg... sempat kahhhhhhh ????
then stay kat travelodge

i baca pun terus tachycardia jantung i... not enough time la my dear.... i think if boocik yang tak berapa shopping boleh lupa diri kat dalton park, apa kan kita ni yang ala-ala shopaholic tapi tak berapa shopaholic sebab duit tak berholic holic......at least 4-5 hours there....

you dah book accommodation kat edinburgh ke belum?
kalau dah book kat easyhotel GBP30 tu memang dah berbaloi.
kalau belum book, why not try book jauh sikit dari town area.
boocik selalu duduk kat travelodge, cameron toll.
selalu bole dapat around GBP9 - 19 jer kalau tengah sale...
jauh pun takde la sampai 1/2 jam perjalanan.
boocik naik bas dari waverly train station pun around 15 mins dah sampai.
berenti betul2 depan pintu reception travelodge tu.  
dalam 15 - 20 langkah dah masuk dalam travelodge tu dari bus stop. tak tipu....
ada shopping complex jugak around that travelodge. cameron toll shopping complex.
the biggest in edinburgh la.... walau pada tahap orang malaysia, takde la besar mana pun.
pastu bila naik bas ke travelodge ni, akan lalu depan masjid.
boleh singgah makan kat halal canteen situ. makanan murah, banyak & sedap. menu style bariani pakistan...

hostel ni edinburgh central youth hostel ke? saya pernah duduk situ. tempat ok, bersih depannya ada kedai pakistan sangat sedap. tapi jauh sikitlah dari train station tapi still walking distance. kalau beg tak berat ok saja jalan. sebabkan sangat senang nak makan so tak delah saya masak pun masa duduk situ. kedai pakistan tu pun buka till late (tutup 5 pagi rasanya).

easy hotel edinburgh pun pernah duduk. hotel besar jugaklah not bad (tapi besar lagi travelodge). dapat bilik betul-betul mengadap castle (dengan syarat pilih pilih ada tingkap). kalau tak de tingkap rasa tak bernafas je tidur situ. tak boleh masak sebab smoke alarm sangat sensitif situ. makan di situ susah sikit kena jalan jauh kalau nak dapat makanan halal. satu lagi hotel ni tinggi (tak de lift) kalau bawak beg berat akan lenguh kaki tangan heret beg di tangga yg sangat narrow.

    i dah book for 5th & 6th June punya stay. But since got changes tu, considering nak book on the 4th jugak.

   boocik pernah tak try duk backpackers/hostel but mix dorm or female dorm jer? or it has always been private room jer?

mostly sebab review not bad & location nearby Deacons House Cafe & St Andrews Bus Station.

i tried this edinburgh central youth hostel ni, rate for twin bed is 69 pound. lebih kurang sama dengan easyhotel. when you say far to get halal food (from easyhotel), how far is it? like 15 min walk ker?

i can imagine when you say bilik dia kecik sebab bila i baca tripadvisor punya review, banyak yang negatif. pernah duk kat Tune Hotel London & took the small room without window,when they say small, they are not kidding. you hardly have space to put your luggage. in fact, i sembahyang atas tilam sebab tak boleh sembahyang atas lantai. its either my butt hits the desk bila rukuk or my head hits the bed bila nak sujud. solution dia, semayang jer atas tilam.

you booked the standard room ker? the view of the castle nampak cantik sangat dalam website. but i didnt book the standard room. since i'm really on low budget, i decided to take the small room, dah la without window, mau suffocate kalau memasak. i think for that kind of stay, i'll just boil water & buat just add water kinda food jer la....

can you recall the price you paid your last stay? if i understand the website correctly, the hotel is quite new right? like opened iAugust last year?

maybe 20 minit kot. you kena jalan ke arah youth hostel tu (ke arah masjid) baru jumpa banyak kedai-kedai makanan halal. tapi easyhotel tu depan princes street jadi sangat-sangat senang naik bus. naik bus 5 min dah sampai ke arah youth hostel tu.

yang lain-lain backpack hostel tu tak pernah try tapi selalunya bila sebut hostel akan share bathroom dan toilet. di sana jarang mix unless kalau kita datang dlm one group of family. masa duduk youth hostel (semua perempuan) 6 orang sebilik dan hanya satu toilet. tersiksa jugaklah kalau kena urgent ke toilet

kalau you duduk hostel make sure bawak extra padlock kecil sebab ada sediakan locker. kot-kotlah boleh letak barang. kalau di youth hostel central boleh tinggal beg lepas check out tanpa extra charge. tempat lain tak taulah.

i ambik standard room with window besar sikitlah dari small room yg mmg small mcm you describe tu. yg standard room tu atleast boleh solat di lantai. i duduk last november dengan rate 39 pound per day. masa tu mmg low season habis. tak de orang pun. masa pergi tu wifi pun belum ada di easyhotel tu. skrg ada dah kot.

i tak perasan pulak hostel lain di area situ sebab pergi pun atas urusan kerja. book easyhotel pun sebab nak jalan extra day di edinburgh tu.

yak kedai-kedai makanan halal. tapi easyhotel tu depan princes street jadi sangat-sangat senang naik bus. naik bus 5 min dah sampai ke arah youth hostel tu.

boocik selalu duduk backpackers hostel masa before kawin dulu.
masa tu duduk female dorm je. sekali je duduk mix dorm sebab female dorm dah penuh. tapi masa tu kat auckland, NZ...
toilets memang share... pernah ada experience tengah mandi kat common shower, ada tangan masuk dalam cubicle shower nak amik my sneakers.
nasib baik boocik perasan dan sound kuat2... tak jadi orang tu amik!

nombor bas tak ingatlah cn7. tapi nanti boleh ambil bus guide di train station or bus station. tak pun tanya reception easyhotel tanya nak ke leith walk.

i baca review, duk kat hostel ni risiko dia, barang kena curik or dapat roomies yang ntah paper, yang jenis loud or mabuk2, hazab jugakla...ada yang nasib baik, dapat la yang click...
