Danny, auntie tried the ice cream at one of the ice cream parlour kat Rheinbach. It was a sunny and hot afternoon and ramai org2x sana keluar. Tiba2x auntie teringat Danny ada bagi hint utk makan ice cream.
So en suami bawak auntie pergi kedai icecream. Org2x sana makan sambil duduk sunbathing kat meja2x yg kat luar tu. Auntie & en suami pulak duduk kat dlm sikit tapi menghadap jlnraya jugak. Mmg best dan besarnya portion. And we tried the waffle with ice cream jugak. Both the ice cream & the waffle were marvelous. Thanks for the tips.
Just for info, bila auntie tanya kwn2x German ni, depa kata ice cream shops byk diusahakan oleh org Itali yg bermastautin di Germany. |

Lama tak dengar berita. Kat mana sekarang ni? Hujan atau panas cuaca?
Masa Midori kat Munich hari tu, banyak tak shopping. Sbb kawan anak auntie (she's German) - dia dok cakap auntie should have gone to Munich instead of Lake Constanz. Dia kata Munich is a shopping heaven in Germany. She normally goes shopping from Dusseldorf to Munich @ Munchen.
Kalau Midori ada masa tambahan, Pergilah Lake Konstanz. Dari situ nak ke Switzerland, dekat sgt. Tak payah visa for Msian. |

Hi auntie...now i kat dusseldorf...semlm gi jalan2 Bonn...and hari nie pusing2 Cologne..i am on my last leg of german tour...rhine cruise pun mcm malas nak gi...psl on this trip dah byk cruise i naik...hop on off bus pun dah malas gak nak naik...lake constance rasanyer tak pergi kot this time around...
yup, shopping street kat munich best gak...tp kat cologne pun sama best....kalu nak shopping kat german, this 2 mesti pergi...
kat sini suka mkn cakes and ice cream diorg...sedap2... |

Takper, take a breather, relax & enjoy the tranquility and the fun of being on holiday. Jln2x ke park dan bawak mknan/minuman, then piknik ler kat taman tu. Give yourself a break, just sit down and enjoy the feeling of being in Germany tanpa ada apa2x itinerary.... Cayalah, besssttt sangat. Do it for a day for 2.. {:1_144:}
Bila you dah relax, then u can resume your travelling activities.... Rugi wooo... Satu tahun you sacrificed your annual leave to go for this trip...  . Kalau nak revisit Germany semula tu boleh jer, tapi ada opportunity costs ler...
Dusseldorf tu dah dekat sgt dgn Roermond Designer Outlet. Kalau dah kembali bertenaga, just take a bus to go there. Mana tahu, that outlet might excite you...
Pasal Munich and Koln tu, dah takder rezeki auntie nak ke sana masa cuti tempohhari. Lagipun kejap sgt jangkamasa cuti tu. Tapi en suami dah hint2x nak bawak gi Berlin, Munich dan Koln for the next trip. Insyallah.... kalau ada rezeki....

hi auntie...my cuti kat sini dah dkt nak abis dah...sunday nie nak balik...today i plan to jalan2 around dusseldorf and maybe do a lil shopping...i think kan auntie...shopping kat berlin yg paling best lah....esp kalu looking for branded items....sepanjang jalan butik diorg...
Semlm kat cologne dah shopping perfumes....and chocolates....psl gi museum chocolate & museum perfume....haha...now i know first perfume kat cologne nie dicipta oleh Mr. Firina...kedai dia pun nama Firina....yg famous 4711 which said to be original eu de cologne tu bukan yg first cipta perfume....kat dlm kedai nie lah ada paip kuar perfume...hmmm..interesting....i like both of d perfume... |

Chocolate dia mmg lazat & sedap. Menyesal tak beli lebih sikit. Auntie ingat biasa2x jer - so belilah ala kadar utk makan sendiri & for buahtangan. Sekali dah makan.... sampai menjilat jari.... Kawan German auntie ada beritahu yg kat chocolate factory dia, mmg best2x chocolate. Tapi masa kat sana, mcm jual mahal sikit - sbb auntie & en suami bukan chocoholic.... Kalau Midori sempat beli lagi, beli byk sikit so that boleh buat ole2x utk your family & officemate....
Ala... tak tahu yg pasal perfume Firina tu best..... Auntie selalu beli kat duty free jer.... Rasa nak rewind jer masa....

hehe...takper auntie...choc kat sini pun byk...i suka choc Lindt...swiss made...so byk beli Lindt jer lah...pastu beli choc yg shape hp, lipstick...btw I ada beli perfume Firina yg 4ml tu extra...kalu auntie nak, i can give it to u....no prob...
I tak pnh pakai sandal birkenstock....suka fit flop sandal....ada msk kedai jual birkenstock...tapi takde yg berkenan plak...best gak shopping kat Dusseldorf...shopping street diorg panggil KO...jumpa Hbag Bally cantik kat butik situ... |

Cuba Midori beli choc milka yg ada hazelnut dan lagi satu yg ada raisins and nuts... Chocolate milk dia lemak.... Sbb masa en suami shopping pisau (can u believe it!) kat kedai WMF, kedai tu bagi choc milka as gifts.... Yummy..yummy gak... So auntie agak2x milka tu local brand la..
Oh ya, kalau u r into cooking, beli pisau WMF (germany made) sbb kat Msia mahal. Tadi auntie just had dinner wz my Singaporean friend, dia kata nyesal tak kirim pisau WMF dgn auntie sbb kat Msia/Spore, pisau tu mahal. Kat outlet and shopping centres kat sana ada jual that brand. Ada good discount gak.
Auntie ada rembat satu Bally bag (tempest python skin) kat Metzingen Outlet. Sebenarnya I fell in love with one black bally bag, which is Euro 3,000 after discount... Adoyai, apasal lak ni Euro, kalau in RM masih ada peluang ler... Tak mampu auntie...
Auntie suka their outlet concept kat Metzingen sbb each individual brand ada their own buildings and each building is close to each other. Masa tu kedai Hugo Boss tgh sales. So kami nampak setiap 5 org lelaki kat situ pegang Hugo Boss shopping bag. We were curious and seronok sbb discount dia mmg berbaloi2x sampai 70% discount and good quality goods. Sampai rumah, anak bujang dgn bf anak perempuan auntie "berebut" t-shirt/shirt yg auntie beli. For once, my son likes what I bought for him ovc. Selalu dia tengok sebelah mata jer...
Masa auntie balik hari tu, we had to buy extra luggage bag kat sana! So Midori dah start packing sikit demi sedikit ker. Kastam kat sana dan kat Msia ok.

Same here... that's y en suami yg seronok tengok pisau tu instead of me.... Dan kwn Singaporean yg suka pisau tu is also a male. Auntie seriau tengok pisau2x yg tajam tu...
Takpa.. kat Frankdurt boleh sambung lagi shopping. Kalau Midori hv a day at Frankfurt, there's a shopping outlet kat Wertheim Village - abt 45mins from Frankfurt. Tempat tu best jugak for sight seeing.
Kalau tak, boleh shopping lagi kat airport dia tu, international terminal 2, domestic terminal 1. Kalau tak silap ada byk shops kat sana... ada kawan yg posted kat German kata - ada byk kedai kat luar bangunan terminal 1. Just naik sky train (free) to go from terminal 2 to terminal 1.
Ada kedai doner kebab dan kedai makan thai kat terminal 1.
So enjoy your flight back home. |
