POPCORN CHICKEN (JUST LIKE KFC!!)

1 egg
1 cup white flour
1 tsp Cajun seasoning -maisya guna serbuk kari je
2 small boneless chicken breasts
3/4 cups vegetable oil (or any other frying oil)
2 paper towels
Mix flour and Cajun seasoning in small mixing bowl.
In separate bowl, beat egg.
Cut chicken breasts in small pieces ranging anywhere from about a 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inch in size, depending on how crispy you want (smaller=crispier).
Pour oil into a small skillet and place on a medium heat.
Dip pieces of chicken into egg, being sure they are fully covered.
Drop the chicken, piece by piece into the flour mixture, fully coating the chicken.
Test to be sure that the oil is ready by dropping a little glob of batter into the oil. If it sizzles and fries, it's ready! Now, slide the chicken into the skillet, easily and slowly to be sure the oil doesn't splatter all over you. Do this as quickly as possible. After about 3-4 minutes, flip the pieces over (pieces should be colored a light golden brown).
When chicken is finished, scoop it out draining as much oil as possible into the pan for more chicken and place it on a plate with the two paper towels lining the bottom.
This will catch and drain the excess oil so your chicken is super crunchy. |

Ni shania buat masa hari xmas...buat makan dari pagi sampai malam....
English herbs chicken
dalam ni ade lamb sekali
1 ekor ayam
2 sudu besar dry rosemary
2 sudu black pepper
garam (agak-agak)
2 sudu dry oregano
1 sudu besar cinannamon powder
2 sudu besar cajun powder
2 sudu besar paprika
1 sudu besar oyster sauce (i suka pakai brand MAGGI)
Semua bahan tadi dicampurkan....kalau boleh perap sampai 2 jam..lepas tu baru bakar atau grill je.....masa masak tu,tutup dgn lid...kalau nak kering, bakar le lama sikit....lebih kurang 10 minit atau 15 minit....and ready to eat....

Ni pulak ayam goreng tepung untuk dinner.....
yang ni shania buat pakai tepung sendiri
1/2 ekor ayam
2 cawan tepung gandum
1/2 cawan tepung jagung
1 sudu besar black pepper
garam - agak-agak
2 sudu besar rempah kari
1 sudu kecil garlic powder
2 biji telur (untuk mecelup ayam dan diletakkan sedikit garam)
Minyak untuk menggoreng
Gaulkan semua bahan-bahan tadi kecuali telur....lepas tu celup ayam dlm tepung dahulu....telur dicelup kemudian sebab nak bagi kulit luar dia rangup....panaskan kuali...dan goreng sampai ayam masak...bergantung kepada saiz....
Dipping
Mayonnise
garlic
garam
Chinese parsley
chopped tomato
lemon

Ayam masak India.
(sumber: ibu mertuaku...)
Bahan 2:
Ayam 1 ekor (potong kecil2 macam nak buat kari)
1/2 paket rempah kari ikan
1/2 peket rempah kari ayam
1 biji santan
buah pelaga, kulit kayu manis, bunga cengkih, bunga lawang(A)
2 labu bawang besar (mayang halus)
2 biji lada besar hijau
2 biji lada besar merah
2 sudu besar cili boh
ubi kentan (potong 4)
gula merah/nisan (2 cm)
air asam jawa, garam dan perasa(optional)
Cara:
1. Panaskan minyak dan masukkan A
2. Masukkan bawang besar mayang, lada besar merah dan hijau. Tumis sehingga naik bau.
3. Masukkan air asam jawa,dan nisan.
4. Masukkan ayam. Gaul rata.
4. Masukkan santan. Tunggu hingga mendidih, kecilkan api, masukkan ubi kentang, dan garam.
5. Bila dah pecah minyak dan ubi kentang sudah empuk, tutup api. Boleh dihidangkan dengan nasi panas atau roti jala. |

Ayam Goreng Berserai
Bahan :
1 ekor ayam
1 sudu besar jintan manis (hitam)}
1/2 sudu besar jintan putih }
1/2 sudu besar ketumbar }
4-5 batang serai } Dikisar
2cm halia }
5 ulas bawang merah }
5 tangkai cili kering }
2 sudu besar susu pekat manis
Garam
Cara:
1. Bersihkan ayam dan potong 12 atau kecil2.
2. Perapkan dengan bahan kisar di atas selama semalaman atau 4-5 jam.
3. Goreng menggunakan minyak yang banyak ( saya goreng di dalam periuk kaca supaya ayam boleh tenggelam sepenuhnya di dalam periuk) @ boleh juga dibakar.
