Abhi-Ash honeymoon video !
Reports have it that a 6-minute-49-second video has been posted on youtube.com featuring the look-alikes of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai is making rounds on the Internet.
The video is made in good humour and does not feature any explicit adult content. The female artist chosen to play Ash does resemble her closely. She is shown in a red sari with sindhoor on her forehead.
The first half of the video shows how romance between the newly married couple is interrupted by phone calls. The video also pokes fun at Ash's ex-boyfriends Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi |

Did Adultry kill Suman's marriage | Barely months after their dream marriage Bunty Wallia and Suman Ranganathan have called it quits.
Says a source close to the couple, "Suman Rangathan has apparently sent Bunty a notice through her lawyer asking for apparently, a house in Pali Hill, a car and large maintenance money close to Rs 2 lakhs.
She isn't asking for a divorce. Her lawyer wishes to sit with Bunty and work out an agreement. But Bunty wants out."
According to close friends of Wallia he's now in deep consulation with his lawyer working out a counter-charge to Suman's notice.
Says a well-informed source, "Bunty has enough evidence, including phone 朾ill print-outs proving there has been a lot going on behind his back. He has been talking to friends about Suman's intense attachment to a cousin of hers from abroad and also to her keen friendship with her trainer in her gym.
You see, the end of this marriage has been a shock to Bunty. One not-so-fine day she came home and collected her things, including towels, cosmetics and declared she was moving out. Bunty demanded his family jewels and money. Suman has yet to return those."
This was Buntry's second marriage. He got divorced to his first wife ten years ago. Bunty refuses to comment beyond a few words of hurt anger.
"My parents were dreaming of a family for me. My 81-year old father is shattered. I can't say anything right now. My lawyer is currently looking at the matter. My friends tell me they knew what she was all about.
But I was too much in love. I will expose her at the right time. And to think she described herself as a one-woman man. Ha! I thought this was for keeps.
I was looking at a life together, including kids. She's 35 and I'm 41. Both our biological clocks are ticking. I won't ever get married again. Suman is definitely not coming back in my life. "

Media spoils my image:Shilpa | Clearly exasperated over the seemingly unending controversy over the incident involving her and Hollywood actor Richard Gere wherein an "innocuous peck on the cheek" caused a huge uproar in several part of india, Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty has blamed the media for the same.
''It is all of you from the media who put me in the headlines and are unnecessarily giving me undue importance,''Shetty said, in an interview to CNN-IBN yesterday, replying to a question on her name creating headlines in recent months.
Stating that the media made a big deal about the incident, Shilpa said, ''One goes for a praiseworthy event in support of HIV/AIDS and instead of focusing on the severity and importance of the cause the media pays more heed to matters that are completely irrelevant and inconsequential. If I don't blame the media then what should I do?
Shilpa has in recent months hogged headlines in the national and international media first for the racial comments made against her on the 'Big Brother' reality show and, more recently, over the kissing episode with Hollywood superstar Richard Gere at an AIDS awareness event in the Capital last month.

Amitabh 'Lands' in Big trouble | An Uttar Pradesh court is scheduled to hear Monday a case related to alleged irregularities in allotting a plot of government land to Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan.
The actor has sought from the court of Faizabad divisional commissioner review of an order of the Barabanki district magistrate quashing the allotment citing violation of rules.
The state government led by Mulayam Singh Yadav, who lost the state assembly elections this month, had allotted 3 bighas (about 70,000 sq ft) of prime land in Barabanki district, barely 35 Km from this state capital.
Bachchan is close to Yadav's confidante and Samajwadi Party general secretary Amar Singh.
The Bollywood icon faces the allegation that he misrepresented facts to receive the benefit. He also reportedly used the allotment as a testimonial to establish his credentials as a farmer to buy agricultural land in Maharashtra, as the state's rules do not permit anyone other than a farmer to purchase such land.
It was a query by the Pune collector in March 2006 to the Barabanki district magistrate for authentication of the Uttar Pradesh testimonial that opened the can of worms for Bachchan.
Then Barabanki district magistrate Ashish Goel cancelled the allotment on the ground that the land revenue records had been fudged.
The official was replaced within a few days and his successor Ram Shankar Sahu stayed the cancellation "till further orders".
Bachchan then approached the divisional commissioner to get the land restored in his name.

I am not satisfied at all: Lara Dutta | Lara Dutta awaits her first Yash Raj venture Jhoom Barabar Jhoom which releases next month. In an interview at her residence, she talks to TWF correspondent Vickey Lalwani about the film, her crazy fans, friendship with Bobby-Tanya and marriage plans. Blame it on load shedding, there is no power supply when we reach- but Dutta is still high voltage! Read on.
Excited about Jhoom Barabar Jhoom (JBJ)?
Certainly. And I remember how it came to me. I was in Bangalore and I got a call from Shaad Ali's (director) office. Big films tend to come to me when I am not in town. Andaz fell into my lap in exactly the same way. Those who loved the madness of Bunty aur Babli will definitely enjoy JBJ.
What's your role in JBJ?
Adi (Aditya Chopra) was clear that that I look different from all my films so far. Aki Narula designed my look. I play a Pakistani French girl. So I had to speak Hindi with a French accent. That's difficult and it took a lot of trial and error.
How was it working with Amitabh Bachchan in JBJ?
I didn't get much chance to work him in Ek Ajnabee and on foreign locales in JBJ either, but when we returned, we did a 21-day schedule in Yash Raj Studios. He looks like a Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean in JBJ. He is unarguably the most professional and dedicated actor on the sets. He puts you into perspective where you stand and what a long way you have to go.
There was a problem in London gurdwara (Sri Gurusingh Sabha Gurdwara in Southhall) when you and Abhishek were shooting?
The problem was on the grounds of gurdwara and not inside it. Some people from the foreign crew were smoking and an objection was raised.
That foreign crew even had scantily clad women, which aggravated the objection?
No. The objection was only against smoking- and rightly so..
Your JBJ co-star Bobby Deol, his wife Tanya, Kelly Dorje (Lara's boyfriend) and you have been thick friends hanging out together. Buzz is, you'll have fallen apart?
Nothing like that. Those were the days when I was doing Dosti with Bobby. Bobby and I have always shared great camaraderie. There is no friction between us.
It's a normal thing in the industy that when you shoot for a film together, you hang out with your co-actors more. When you go to another film, your focus shifts but friendship does not.
We heard, a man wouldn't allow your flight to take off from Muscat recently?
Gosh! How did you know this? Don't even remind me of that. It was scary to begin with. They called out my name to come out from the aircraft just when the doors were about to close for the take off. They said that a man was obstructing the aircraft and he wanted to talk to me.
Actually, he was a crew member of some airlines and hence had access right up to the tarmac. Top of all, he was staying in the same hotel as I was. So I guess he knew my departure plans.
You came out and spoke to him?
I had to. They put the stairs back, but thankfully, didn't allow him to come up. So, I was speaking from the top and he was standing below.
What did he tell you?
He said that he wanted to marry me.
Oh, the 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi' types. What did you reply?
(laughs) Obviously no.
Have you kept in touch with Robert Redford after sharing the stage with him in Barcelona at the 3rd GSM Mobile Conference?
Redford is a very charming guy. I did email once to his office. I guess, they are busy now with Sundance.
What's next after JBJ?
David Dhawan's Partner. I play a gutsy girl who locks horns with people but ironically is subjected to being a damsel in distress. It's nice to be paired opposite Salman and work with him for the first time. He is a wonderful human being. Shooting for Partner has been fun. And hey, how can I forget that Govinda kept calling me as Pride of the nation and Beauty of Punjab!
But you too have this habit of nicknaming your co-actors- like you call John as 'Sidey', Have you nicknamed Govinda and Salman?
(Laughs). I do that, but with only my contemporaries and those who are of my age. I can get away with all that, then. I wouldn't dare call Govinda or Salman by any nickname.
How satisfied are you in your career? You feel you could have done more films?
I am not satisfied at all. I'll never be satisfied. But yes, I am much more contented and secure. Today, I know the kind of work I want to do and the people I want to work with. I have realised that I am a good comic actress.
Both, Bhagam Bhag and Partner, taught me a lot in the comic genre. And, I am getting to read scripts which have roles like Sridevi and Juhi Chawla did. And that's great; there aren't too many actresses who can carry off that genre.
Marriage?
Ne... (makes a face).
You almost said 'Never'. Right?
Yeah (laughs), but I stopped. I thought what if I change my mind later (laughs).

Vidya Balan has done a wonderful job: Madhuri Dixit

Good to see you return to films.
Yes, I'll probably do one film a year. There are lots of offers. I need to just listen to the scripts and decide what to do. It has to be a project convenient to both me and the producer in terms of location, etc.
Looking after my home and kids, I can still take time off for one movie. But it would be tough for me to come down here for the shooting. We must remember that a lot of movies from Bollywood are made in the US.
It would be difficult for producers in Mumbai to reach you in LA?
The world is becoming such a small place. People sitting in Hong Kong do business with people in India. So communication is no problem.
What prompted that live performance at the Filmfare awards last year?
I didn't think I was going to perform. I was in Mumbai to chill out, have a holiday. Filmfare approached me. Rikkuji persuaded me. Since I wasn't out of shape he thought I could do it. Since I had been with the industry for so long I thought it would be nice if I caught up with all my colleagues through my performance.
Most people feel there can never be another Madhuri Dixit.
In fact the audiences still send me fan mail.
It's a beautiful feeling to be loved and cherished. Talent never dies. I was very apprehensive about dancing on stage. I hadn't done it for four years. To my surprise it wasn't difficult. Even Saroj-ji (Khan) said it didn't look like I had been away for so long. Acting and dancing are hard to forget.
In the US do you miss the film industry?
It depends on what you mean by the industry. If you mean the paraphernalia then I don't miss that. But I miss my craft, the preparation for scenes, the nervousness before every shot and all that dhak dhak |

Mumbai Police are the best: Vivek Oberoi

After keeping a low profile for some time, Vivek Oberoi has been in the news recently for the much-awaited film Shootout at Lokhandwala, where he once again plays the gangster Maya Dolas. We spoke to him about his character and experiences in the movie. Here is the excerpt.
Q: Firstly, Vivek tell us how does it feel to be back in a gangster role after your debut Company?
A: Yeah. Firstly, it is a huge compliment that people still remember Company. It has been almost five years and people still keep talking about Company and gangster roles. It is really nice to be that remembered and to feel that people found the role so memorable.
While they are both gangsters, they are poles apart too. There is absolutely nothing common between Maya and Chandru. If you put both their pictures side by side, you will see that there is nothing common between the way they look or they way they try to portray. So it is exciting.
Q: Did you go through any homework for playing the character of Maya Dolas?
A: See, a character like this requires homework, no? Because what happens is that when you are trying to portray a character in a film, especially when it is a real life character, you got to have your homework correct. You have to sit down and work, get the entire background, get the entire information.
You have to try to understand the mindset of the person, try to understand why he did what he did. And then after that you will have to join that to a little bit of creative liberty, to a little bit of director抯 vision, to a little bit if the legend and stories around him.
It has been 16 years that he has passed way. So all that combined together comes out on the screen as Maya Dolas.
Q: So, did you meet with the friends or family members of Maya Dolas?
A: I met quiet a few people who were connected to him though I do not have the liberty to speak about it. I have met people connected to them, interviewed them, interviewed cops who were there at the time of the shootout, who actually and eventually killed him.
I met general convicts and murderers to try and understand the mind-sets of the psyche. Also we met people who worked with Maya and worked against Maya at that time. I actually tried to get a feel of him. I went to the places where he grew up, where he actually started out with criminal activities. I went through the police files and things like that.
Q: Were you aware of this incident earlier?
A: Yeah, I knew about the shootout earlier, but not in so much detail. It was only after I got into this character, that I came to know in so much detail. It was fascinating to know so many things.
Q: Any incident that struck you while you were discovering things about Maya Dolas?
A: During the homework I discovered a lot of things. Like, I met inspector Quavi, a daring inspector and a fascinating man.
Two bullets had hit him |

Mahima's on the baby way
Now it can be told. Actress Mahima Chaudhary is ready to go into labour. She has been admitted to a private room on the eighth floor of the Lilavati Hospital for her confinement. The baby is due at last despite the actress ' attempts to hide her pregnancy from Bollywood and the media all this while.
According to sources, Mahima's term is premature , and she may be induced into labour any day. The hospital, of course, has refused to comment on her admission. There is no question, then, of them coming up with a delivery date. A Lilavati spokesperson said the actress ' frequent visits and subsequent stay in the hospital is due to the ill health of a family member.
Mahima's pregnancy was discovered when she attended a product launch in New Delhi in March dressed in a loose salwar kameez. When asked if she was expecting, Mahima laughed off the question saying the media had speculated earlier too on her being pregnant. This time, however, the media's guess turned out to be right. And Bollywood's grapevine is now abuzz with gossip on who is the new man in her life.
Ever since she broke up with tennis player Leander Paes, there has been much speculation about Mahima's love life, and rumours were that she was seeing a businessman from America for a while. But Mahima kept her social life very low key. And the actress refused to elaborate when asked if she was hooked or single, married or unmarried, until people stopped asking . But now, the actress, whose career has been on hold for some time, is back in the news. And Bollywood is waiting for news on its latest yummy mummy!

Vidya Balan may step in 'Pa' | |
| |
| 'Cheeni Kum' might have been accepted by audiences with mixed reactions but its director R. Balki is all excited about his next movie 'Pa' with same producer Sunil Manchanda. 'Pa' is ready to go on the floors in due time and features Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan. It is a very light comedy film portraying the relationship between a father and son.
Although Balki had thought of casting Aishwarya Rai in the film earlier, news has come in that Vidya Balan may step in the project instead of Rai.
'Pa' will have musical notes from Ilaiyaraaja, who is being appreciated for his work in 'Cheeni Kum'. |
| Hrithik Roshan impresses Cannes audiences with Jodhaa Akbar promos
| | |

Hirthik makes more money for Bollywood with a single film like Dhoom 2 or Krrish than other Bollywood heroes do with ten films. Hrithik is younger than most top heroes of Bollywood and has a longer and varied career ahead. News from Cannes says that the promos of Ashutosh Govarikar's Jodhaa Akbar, showing him fighting with an elephant in this historical magnum opus, fascinated audiences and film festival participants so much, that buyers from Germany, France, South Africa etc. have shown great interest in the film. Bombay Times reports that reps from Venice and Rome are eager to include the film in their festivals. Most insiders agree that Hrithik is the fittest hunk in Bollywood and is pointed in the right direction with healthy habits and right values. He underplays his star status and concentrates on his assignments with such vigor that his performances are outstanding in every genre. From zooming around on bikes and jumping down precipices with his heroines, he has done it all |
