Popular singer GACKT will release a best-of compilation album. This album is currently untitled and will contain singles released after the album THE SIXTH DAY / SINGLE COLLECTION from 2004.
The CD will be available from July 21st and on that same day a reissue of the aforementioned album from 2004 will be released as well.
In addition to these releases,Gackt will also release a compilation album featuring his rock songs. Titled ARE YOU "FRIED CHICKENz"??, this release will feature a 'tough' concept and is due to be in stores on June 23.
Did you know Kamijo (vocalist for Versailles) was a former roadie for Malice Mizer? Somehow, it seems rather fitting, dont you think?
And according to MJ+, at a recent Versailles live, Gackt (ex-Malice Mizer) even sent the members of Versailles a bouquet of flowers. Rather thoughtful of him, I suppose.

GACKT Causes Ticket Sale-Servers to Crash in Europe Due to High Demand!
With GACKT a real super star of the Japanese music scene is coming to Europe this July and he will be touring through five exclusive clubs in Great Britain, France, Spain and Germany starting on July 16th. In many places the tickets to these shows have SOLD OUT in less than 30 minutes, as it was the case in Germany. In France, the tickets sold out via one agency even before they could go on sale with a different one.
The high demand caused servers to crash in several places, as fans were eager to get their tickets as soon as possible.
Fans who have not been able to get their tickets, now have a second chance. Due to a change in production, there will be another 200 tickets available for the show held in Munich at the "Theaterfabrik" on July 22nd. Tickets will go on sale exclusively via Neo Tokyo, starting on Friday, June 11th, noon 12:00 o'clock central European time.
