This is GACKT’s 38th Maxi Single which will be featured in the upcoming PC game Dragon’s Nest, an RPG in which GACKT also lends his voice over to the game’s villain, Belskard. This is also the first single that will be released under avex entertainment as part of GACKT’s move from Nippon Crown. No picture as of yet, and the B-side is currently unknown.
GACKT to Release First Single Collection in Six Years!
It has been announced that on July 21st GACKT is going to release his second single collection titled "THE ELEVENTH DAY -SINGLECOLLECTION-"
It has been 11 years since GACKT started his solo activities with his album "Mizerable" in 1999. Since then all of his released singles have made it into the top 10 of ORICON charts and he is not only active with music, but also movies, doramas, stage plays, and a voice actor. With this he steadily keeps broadening his potentials in each of these fields.
Six years have passed since the 2004 release single collection "THE SIXTH DAY -SINGLE COLLECTION-", when he will be releasing his new record "THE ELEVENTH DAY -SINGLECOLLECTION-" on July 21st. From "Kimi ni Aitakute" over "RETURNER -Yami no Shuen-", which was his first single to reach the top position within the ORICON charts, to the 2009 release "FLOWER" a total of 15 song can be found on this record.

With His Birthday, GACKT Also Pursues a New Single!
The other day GACKT had been celebrating his birthday and when asked, how he had spent that day he wrote in his blog: "I am in the middle of getting an infusion at the hospital. 'On my birthday getting an infusion, too...'. It somehow makes me laugh." Yet he also added: "A lot of people have encouraged me, too and I have received a lot of words of gratitude, therefore it was yet a great birthday to look back upon. It was a good birthday." GACKT looks at things positive as always.
GACKT will also be releasing a new single, which for him, will be an important record, titled "EVER". As the premium editions will be limited, people interested are better off pre-ordering the piece.
Moreover, on the Japanese video site "NicoNico Doga" GACKT's performance of his "GACKT COMING TO EUROPE 2010 ATTACK OF THE "YELLOW FRIED CHICKENz"" in Bochum, Germany is scheduled for release.
On GACKT’s Official blog page, he apologized over his former dancer, SIVA (Shibahara Kunihiko), who was arrested for drug possession. He stated, “Our job is to provide dreams to everyone and we can’t do things to break that dream, so I would like to apologize on behalf of dancer SIVA.”
GACKT was in the Netherlands for a photo shoot at the time of the incident and heard about the news from a staff member in Japan. He was also commented, “What is he doing? He’s not a little kid anymore. I don’t know why SIVA started on drugs but I still hope the best for him. On the other hand, hearing this kind of news makes me wish that people in this world will stop using drugs.”
GACKT will start on his Europe tour “GACKT COMING TO EUROPE 2010 ATTACK OF THE YELLOW FRIED CHICKENz” from the 16th. With this in mind he ended his blog entry with, “I’m going to London now. Delivering some excitement.”
The list of artists and singers scheduled to perform on the July 25th edition “MUSIC JAPAN” (NHK) has been released. This week, Umika as Yamako (Kawashima Umika), GACKT, No Sleeves (AKB48), FUNKY MONKEY BABYS, and WaT will be performing on the show.
One of the members of idol group 9nine, Kawashima Umika is using the name “Umika as Yamako” to perform a song titled “Maji de Koi suru 5 byoumae” which is an ending theme for her movie “Watashi no Yasashikunai Senpai.” The name “Yamako” was taken from the name of her act in the movie.
Also GACKT will be performing his new single “EVER,” which will be released on July 28th. This will be the first time GACKT will perform this song on TV.

GACKT and his band, YELLOW FRIED CHICKENz have just ended their first Europe tour titled “GACKT COMING TO EUROPE 2010 ATTACK OF THE“YELLOW FRIED CHICKENz.”
The tour started from July 16th in London then moved on to four various locations in Europe. Tour tickets for all five locations sold out in 30 minutes. GACKT and his band members performed a total of 13 songs and promised his fans in Europe that he will definitely come back. On July 28th, GACKT will be releasing his new single “EVER” which will be a theme song for Online action game called “Dragon Nest.”
After the completion of this European tour, he will concentrate towards the homeland as the Japan tour will start from August 11th. One of the special concerts will be held at Zepp Tokyo on August 29th and the dress code of that day will be “swim suit.” GACKT and DEARS hot summer is about to begin!
