Minta tolong...
Assalamualaikum semua...
Mcm kat backpackers ker... Kalau indon, saya tau mmg ramai. I'm going to move to either UK, Oz or NZ dlm beberapa bulan lagi pakai passport and ETA or tourist Visa (where applicable), nak cari keja. Seronok tgok korang masing2 ade keja pro. Mcm saya ni, ada SPM aja, dan dah over 30, so tak eligible for WHV. Nak apply for work permit pun tah dpt ke tak. But by hook or by crook, I really need a job abroad. Bnyk betul tanggungan kat sini, dah tak larat dah nak tanggung kalau terus tinggal sini... kat sini mcm susah sgt nak survive.. walaupun negara sendiri...
Tlg bagi tunjuk ajar camne nak apply for work permit. Kena turun dulu then cari keja tu sendiri then apply for work permit. Tapi takut pula sampai sana tak dpt pula work permit.
Kalau dpt keja sebagai fruit picker, atau cleaner pun, jadilah, saya redha.. asalkan keja tu halal dan saya tak mencuri... saya betul2 perlukan keja kat abroad skg ni.. kalau blh nak gi UK sb payment in Pound.. saya target, dlm setahun saya mesti dpt kumpul at least RM 100K. Nak beli umah utk parents.. nak tanggung adik beradik lain lagi.. Ya Allah.. berat sungguh dugaanMU... rasa mcm dah tak tertanggung nak pikul beban.. kalau dlm sebulan ni, saya tak dapat juga sebarang contact atau bantuan, saya nekad nak ke sana sendiri... then sampai sana baru cari keja... jadi illegal pun, illegal la.. kalau sapa2 ada kenal agen2 kat sana yg blh tlg, saya minta sgt la bantuan utk kenalkan agen tu pd saya.. tak apalah kalau kena bayar sikit... yg penting agen tu betul2 boleh tlg carikan keja and dpt work permit.. saya minta tlg sgt2.. bantuan kalian amat2 lah dihargai.. hanya Allah yg dapat membalasnya... |

Andria.. ur intention is very good .. to make moni in order to help ur fam n provide them a better life but its not as ez as u may think.. u dun work here, earn n every penny go into ur pocket !.. how bout the cost of living here ? at least for a start, u need sumone to tumpangkan u while getting a job .. and even when u hav a job, the salary is not dat big.. its either nyawa2 ikan or cukup2 mkn or kais pagi mkn pagi kais ptg mkn ptg.. unless u r willing to take up few jobs at one time .. and again, tu pun sekadar cukup2 mkn.. I know sumone, a lady who came to London, she only has secondary education, and been in London for few years now. I didn抰 ask her whether she抯 working here legally or illegally. But she came here membawa hati yg lara due to the husbnd left her for anuther woman, she has 2 girls bck in Mesia, living wif the mother and she gives moni every mnth to the mother. She does 4 jobs at a time to support her living in London. And I think she has a Mat Saleh boyfren who probably help her most of the time. I don抰 know her dat well honestly, cuma secara kebetulan she is a fren to my fren.
If kat Mesia u ckp teruk |

oh yeah.. to open a bnk account, u must hav home address, without it u can't open any account frm any bnk.. and here to get loan, u need to hav gud credit history ( they encourage u to hav credit cards n spend a lot, the more u spend the better ur credit history, the easier to get loan or anything lah ) and in order to get credit cards.. u need to get a job, u need work continously for at least a year, they wanna see that there's always money in ur account.
but first thing u must find is, a hme address.. takde alamat umah, apa pun tak dpt kat sini.. nak beli fon pun tak dpt ! wat people here told me.... if u think u can make moni in UK.. u r wrong ! unless u kawen ngan Mat Saleh where u can get all the benefits.. or u ade anak lahir kat sini, so bley la dpt benefits. Nak buat duit, selalunye people will go to Mid East coz sana takde tax... dah kumpul byk duit, then baru le dtg UK....
but if u wanna taste it urself.. u r welcome to come, perhaps the xperience will make u a tougher person. air fare je pun dah mkn ribu... |

Thanks for your input mzzm. As said previously, I'm not looking for any office or professional work. I know that's tough especially when you don't have any Uni education. I'm just looking for some quick bucks, like maybe keja as a fruit picker kat orchards or backpacker jobs. I got a lot of info on fruit picking and seems like that is the only job where you can save some money because you can get around $100-$150 a day if you're hard working enough. You may not believe this but org2 Indon yg keja illegal kat Perth umpamanya, ada yg sampai boleh beli rumah kat sana dan tinggal kat sana and dapat PR. Most of them yg keja as fruit pickers or keja kat backpackers can earn as high as $600 Oz per week. They don't pay tax of coz. They dont need to rent houses, internet, telephone, and whatnot. Ni semua yg bukan keja pro, tapi duit yg diorg dpt berganda2 lbh banyak dari yg keja pro. Jeles pula dengar. Tinggal, makan, minum kat backpackers semua kena tanggung. Ada yg keja jadi nelayan, dpt kumpul $24K Oz in only 6 weeks time. Haiz...
Cuma itulah, they are illegals. Bila2 masa boleh kena ambush. Not saying I want to be an illegal as well, but worst comes to worst... Yeah, I know it's hard. I've worked in SG before dan pernah makan maggi jer 2 weeks in a row. It was an eye opener for me back there. Nak tumpang rumah org? Ada ke another fellow Malaysian yg sebegitu baik nak tumpangkan a stranger kat rumah diorg? Even though same country, same race, and same religion... to be brutally honest with you, masa saya mengembara dulu, org Melayu dan beragama Islam dan sama negara dgn saya yg pernah tlg saya, cuma 1 org. Itu pun dgn nak mengambil kesempatan juga. Saya dah masuk tahap desperate pun, they just look from afar. Not generalizing, but inilah pengalaman peribadi saya. Kecewa melihat org yg senegara, sebangsa dan seagama, tak mahu menghulur bantuan walaupun diorg nampak dan tau kita perlukan bantuan. Tapi ckp psl agama, berdegang2. Kesal jgn ckp la. Although I know maybe bukan semua yg mcm tu. You're out there on your own. This time saya rasa akan lebih mencabar. Tapi saya ingat 1 perkara jer. Whatever I do, or have to do, it's all for my family. It's never about me... |

I'm a she. And wearing a veil at that. Is it hard for someone wearing a veil to get a job there? How are they treated? Any bias or discrimination against religion? Kat SG dulu memang terasa sgt.. (no offense to SG'ans, it's a fact). Itu pun nasib baik jer dpt keja kat kilang. I was informed, ada yg pakai tudung dan apply keja kat sana tak dapat working permit at all. Pegi mana2 pun kat sana, rasa mcm I was the only Muslim there... Mmg isolated gila.. Kalau dah sampai abroad dan terpaksa take off veil semata2 utk dapat keja, it would really be a hard decision to make. But drpd tak makan, adik2 kat tanahair kena berenti sekolah, parents yg dah berusia 70 thn pun kena keja lagi... kdg2 hidup ni mmg perit... |

Ayo.. u're a she. Well.. so far, stories dat i get r frm students.. where remaja omputeh nih like to shout at them n ade gak umah yg kena baling telur.. but dr segi kerja, tatau lah if they prefer the ones without hijab but i think tak kot. i think if setakat kerja2 like fruit picker.. cleaner.. takde hal lah coz students kat sini mostly wear hijab n they easily get a job.. |

I hope you're rite. I don't wanna think they got the job because they're still students. Kat SG dulu I penah kena buang keja just because I pakai veil. Hmm.. |
