Amor does not buy Claudia's offer about the evidence of her daughter's real identity. She is uninterested and does not have time to deal with Claudia.

Eduardo introduces Angelo and Yna to Edelweiss and Chammy. He asks Edelweiss if it is fine for the two to stay in their house for the meantime while they are in Manila. Edelweiss says yes but it obviously shows in her face that she is not in favor of it. She excuses herself and goes to her room. Edelweiss calls up Claudia and informs her that Angelo is in the house. Eduardo follows Edelweiss. He says he could just let Angelo and Yna stay in a hotel if she does not want them to stay. Edelweiss pretends it is okay.

Claudia does not waste time. She and Lia rush immediately to Edelweiss' house. Angelo warns Yna not to go downstairs while he talks to Claudia. Lia embraces his brother so tight. Angelo gets flashbacks of Lia. He recognizes her to be his loving sister. He embraces her back and cries. When Claudia comes forward and calls Angelo, "anak," he backs out. Claudia promises to change as long as he went home with them. Angelo does not want to, especially with what she did to Yna and Cocoy. Suddenly Eduardo appears and angrily asks Claudia who told her that Angelo is there. Claudia protects Edelweiss and replies her men fed her the information. Claudia and Lia leave right away. Back home, Lia tells Claudia that the only way they could get Angelo is for Claudia to accept Yna. All she wishes is for her mother to make her moves without hurting anyone.

Seraphin is still cold toward Amor. Finally Diego arrives. He thanks Amor for taking care of Seraphin. Amor takes the opportunity to apologize for all her shortcomings to him. It is difficult for Diego to forgive and Amor understands. She gives Diego the decision if their wedding would still push through or not anymore. Diego brings Seraphin to Lourdes. The boy keeps asking when she would be free. Lourdes has no idea at all but to soothe the boy, she says it would be very soon.
Puring keeps asking Bastian when Amor would come. Bastian tries to brainwash Puring that Amor is a good-for-nothing person because she never visited them in Cebu. Puring reminds him that Amor sends them money every month and that is what he throws away on gambling and drinking.

Amor goes to the laboratory and asks the practitioner if he has contact to the laboratory technician who conducted her DNA test. The practitioner says that the technician was shot on the very day when her DNA result was released. Amor strongly feels his death had something to do with the DNA result.
Jonathan already found a boarding house where he could stay in. He still does not have plans to tell Elizabeth where he is. Lia gives him some money to start with. Tears flow from Jonathan's eyes because he realizes how much he missed Lia when he was still in the seminary.

Claudia vows revenge on Amor and Yna for causing Angelo to despise her. Her thoughts are awakened by Maximus' call. Maximus says a certain Sergeant Lucero agreed with their plan and the Antik Gang would do the killing. Claudia just wants to make sure no one would find out she is behind this plot. She plans to kidnap Isko and kill him to get back on Yna.

Isko is outside playing. He hears a group of boys singing on their way to school and this attracts his attention. Isko follows them. At that moment, the Antik Gang comes into view following Isko. Back in the house, Flerida just arrived from school with Kit and Belen says Isko is waiting for her outside. Flerida did not notice Isko when they arrived. They three search for him. A neighbor points where Isko was heading. Belen, Flerida and Kit arrive just in time to catch armed men kidnapping Isko. Isko is already inside the van. Fortunately Kit is able to grab Isko's arm.

Kit is not able to get a hold of Isko because the vehicle speeds away. The men are successful with the kidnapping.

Amor is not at peace especially whenever she looks at the bracelet. She gathers her guts to face Yna even if she knows the young lady detests her. Yna tells her to leave. The least Amor could do is to help Yna with whatever she needs. Yna does not want to accept any favors from Amor anymore. Amor knows it is useless to stay there any longer. Before she leaves, she tells Yna that Lourdes is locked up in jail. Then Amor shows Yna the bracelet that would give proof of her real daughter. She says Isko gave it to her. Yna does not make a fuss of it because the DNA test showed enough evidence. When Amor left Angelo asks Yna what the bracelet is all about. Yna explains everything to him. It is no big deal to her anymore because she has already accepted long before that she is not the real daughter of Amor.

Coring disobeys Claudia's order not to ever watch the videotape. Now it is too late. Claudia is so angry at Coring because she does not want anyone to know about the secret behind Amor's daughter. Coring figures that Claudia killed the wrong person, Maria Amor all because they thought she was Amor's daughter. Claudia vows to take revenge against Yna and Amor and makes sure she would get all of Amor's riches in her hands.

Angelo and Yna decide to leave Manila and go back to Yna's place. They are surprised to see policemen in the house. Belen weeps as she tells Yna about what happened to Isko. When the police left, a boy appears on their door and hands Yna a cellphone given to him by a stranger. The phone rings and Yna answers the call. On the other line is a man who is asking for three hundred thousand pesos in exchange of Isko. Yna pleads for Isko and says they are very poor to be able to produce that amount of money.

The men are about to kill Isko when Maximus receives a call from Claudia. Claudia orders not to kill Isko anymore because there is a change of plan. Now, she wants Yna to bring the ransom alone. And when Yna and Isko think they are freed then that is the time the men would kill both Yna and Isko. That way Amor would also feel the hurt and pain of losing a child just like what Claudia is feeling now with Angelo.

Puring begs Bastian to bring Amor to her. Bastian lies that Amor is in Hongkong. Bastian could not stand Puring's prodding anymore so he calls up Claudia and asks until when they would go hiding from Amor. Claudia gets goaded with Bastian and warns him not to ever call her again if he does not have anything important to say. Bastian is not aware that Puring heard the conversation.
Claudia sends the videotape to Amor. Amor is taken aback when she sees Mark and Puring speak up about Yna being her real daughter. Now Amor realizes maybe this matter has something to do with Puring's disappearance. So she orders Rufo to search for the old woman.
Yna asks help from Eduardo. Eduardo is willing to provide the ransom money. The kidnappers want Yna to be in Sta. Clara at ten o'clock in the morning, alone, or else she would not see Isko alive. Angelo insists to come along but Yna thinks it might just put Isko's life in danger. On the other hand Eduardo confronts Claudia and blames her for being part of the kidnapping. Claudia denies it.

Amor receives an anonymous call from a man asking to help Yna and Isko. The man informs Amor that the kidnappers would not spare Yna and Isko's lives as what they thought would happen after giving the ransom because the kidnappers would still kill the two.

Belen, Flerida, Angelo and Eduaro find Yna crying in the hospital. Yna announces in grief that Isko is already gone. She accompanies them to the morgue. Belen and Flerida could not believe seeing Isko抯 cold corpse. It is the most painful event of their lives.

Claudia pretends to be shocked when Lia informs her about Isko抯 death. Then again, Claudia tells Bastian over the phone that the time is nearing for Puring and Amor to meet. When Bastian asks what Claudia plans to do to him and Puring, she only leaves him hanging. Bastian strongly feels his life and Puring抯 are in danger. That night when the guards are asleep, he helps Puring escape. He apologizes for being tempted by money. He is able to bring Puring to a taxi when Bastian is caught by one of Claudia抯 guards. Fortunately the taxi speeds away with Puring but Bastian is killed during the struggle.

Amor brings flowers to Isko抯 wake in the town抯 chapel. Yna sees Amor and throws back the flowers at her. Yna humiliates Amor in front of the people and pushes her out. Belen follows, too. Amor tries to ask forgiveness but all she hears are curses and hurting words from Yna and Belen. They blame Amor for Isko抯 death. Nearby the chapel is Claudia who rejoices upon seeing the scene. Angelo catches a glimpse of her. He comes forward and tells Claudia to leave.

Amor is so hurt. She visits Lourdes in prison and pours out all her hurts. Amor could feel she is now paying for all the wickedness she did. She does not want to lose Yna for she strongly feels Yna is her real daughter.

Jonathan visits Lia in the house. Lia tells him about Isko抯 death and how she pities Yna and her family. Jonathan reacts by saying God is unfair for giving problems to good people. What shocks her most is when Jonathan blurts out that he does not believe in God anymore. Lia pleads Jonathan to open up about his problems but he holds back.

Again and again, Amor watches the tape Claudia sent her. It is an incomplete copy and of course Amor is eager to find out the other half of it. She calls up Claudia. Claudia is willing to reveal the other part in exchange of half of Amor抯 riches and properties. Claudia adds that aside from her, only Mark and Puring know the truth. Claudia sneers at Amor that she would never find Puring.

Amor is desperate. She already agrees to give half of her riches and possessions to Claudia in exchange of the truth about her real daughter. She and Claudia would meet up that evening to discuss the arrangement.

Claudia exalts herself for a job well done. Despite this, she is still discontented for Puring is nowhere to be found. She orders Maximus to keep a close watch on Amor's residence for Puring would surely arrive there.

Jonathan opens up to Lia the whole truth about his persona - that his real father is a priest, Father Crispin, and Elizabeth lied to him that his father met an accident and died.

A young girl appears and kindly lends a hand to Puring who is very tired and weak. They walk hand-in-hand on the way to Amor's place. Two passers by are shocked when they see the old woman walking as if someone is leading her but all they could see is her image. Could it be that the child is an angel? Finally they reach their destination. Maximus and company spot Puring but they could not make their move because Rufo arrive on the scene and leads Puring inside the house. The child walks away and disappears in the dark.

Amor is so relieved and joyful when she sees Puring. Puring does not waste time. She takes a deep breath and confesses that Maria Amor is not her real daughter but Yna.

Amor could not believe that Puring lied to her all these years. She could have gotten angry but Amor remains thankful to Puring for telling her the truth. Puring narrates that during the Talimpaw tragedy, she heard Chayong screaming Maria Amor's name. Suddenly Puring found a crying baby and named it Maria Amor. Since then Puring made Maria Amor believe that she was the daughter of Amor even if she knew well that the baby was not really the one, all because she wanted Maria Amor to have a good life. Suddenly Puring gets convulsions so Amor calls for a doctor. Amor sees a picture of the child who was with Puring the other night. It was a picture of Maria Amor when she was nine years old. When Puring wakes up she tells Amor about her dream that Maria Amor was so happy now that they have finally told the truth.

Maximus reports to Claudia that they did not get a hold of Puring for she was able to enter Amor's house. Claudia goes hysterical. She could not afford to lose Amor's millions.

Belen is having a difficult time coping up with Isko's death. Angelo promises he would not leave them. Eduardo brings Yna's family together with Angelo to Manila. He got them a place to stay in. Angelo makes it clear to Eduardo that he does not want Claudia to know where he is. Eduardo promises to give Yna a modeling job in TMC and also to give Angelo's medical treatment as soon as possible. On the other hand, Claudia is so furious with Eduardo for not informing her that Angelo is already in Manila. Eduardo still does not disclose where Angelo is.

Amor has been trying to contact Eduardo but she could not reach him. She asks Eduardo's secretary for the address of the house he got for Angelo and Yna. Amor goes to the house immediately. She wants to see her daughter. But when Yna and Amor see each other, Amor could strongly feel Yna's anger just by looking at her eyes. So Amor leaves. Amor goes straight to visit Lourdes in prison. Lourdes advises that Yna has the right to know about the truth but Amor must accept whatever decision Yna would make.

Lia wants to help Jonathan in any way. She also advises it would be best to tell Father Crispin the truth because for sure the kind man would understand.
Amor is able to get a hold of Eduardo through the phone. She wants them to meet right away to discuss something very important. Finally reveals to Eduardo that Yna is their real daughter. However, since Amor already knows who her real daughter is, Claudia is left with only one more card - and that is to be the first one to tell Angelo and Yna that they are brother and sister.

Amor and Eduardo have put the pieces together that Angelo and Yna are siblings and they must be warned.

Angelo and Yna visit Cocoy in the hospital. Angelo tells Lorenzo and Fatima that Eduardo would shoulder their hospital bill. Lorenzo says Amor already paid for everything. Cocoy's desire to sketch is still strong and he is taking his condition positively. Lorenzo and Fatima announce that they would start life anew.

Lia accompanies Jonathan to the parsonage where Father Crispin stays in. Father Crispin is so happy to see Jonathan. Jonathan goes straight to the point. He declares that Father Crispin is his biological father. Father Crispin does not know what Jonathan is talking about. With this reaction, Jonathan thinks Father Crispin is turning his back against the responsibility of being his real father and it hurts him. Hot tears flush his eyes. He avoids talking to Lia about what has just happened.

Claudia wants to be the first one to tell Angelo and Yna that they are siblings so she goes to the place where they are staying. Eduardo and Amor arrive at the same time as Claudia. Eduardo tells Claudia to back off for she is just making things worse. Claudia agrees to let Amor be the one to tell Yna that she is her real daughter. Angelo and Yna hear the commotion and are surprised to see the three adults outside. But Claudia could not resist the urge to disclose the reality. So before Amor could speak, Claudia tells Yna that Amor is her mother and that she and Angelo are siblings. Angelo and Yna could not believe what they just heard. Claudia hands them the tape so they could watch the evidence. While watching the film, Angelo begins to receive flashbacks - that on the day of his wedding with Felicity, somebody sent him a videotape about that very same record. Angelo is so disturbed and keeps denying that he and Yna are of the same blood. Yna could not think clearly, too. She is so distraught and could not accept that the man she loves is her brother.

Yna does not want to accept that Amor is her real mother and that Angelo is her brother. She feels the world has fallen on her. Angelo is experiencing the same confusion, too. They are both in the denial stage. Angelo decides it would be best for him and Yna if he stays in Eduardo抯 place for the meantime to think things over.

Belen could feel Yna抯 hurt. She promises to always be there for Yna even if they already found out that Amor is her real mother.

Jonathan does not understand why Father Crispin keeps saying he does not know Elizabeth at all. Lia thinks maybe Father Crispin is just frightened to get into a scandal because his promotion as monsignor is impending.

Claudia finds out Angelo is staying with Eduardo so she rushes there immediately to see him. Eduardo is so furious with Claudia for barging inside his house without permission. She marks her word to be back for Angelo. On the other hand Edelweiss

Puring could feel her days are already nearing and she want to speak to Yna before it is too late. So Amor brings Puring to Yna's place. Puring confesses to Yna and apologizes for causing strife in their lives. She gets Yna and Amor's hands and put them together. All Puring wants is for Amor and Yna to mend things out because she knows they have waited so long for them to be together - as mother and daughter.

After office hours, Eduardo and Yna go straight to a restaurant. Yna has no idea that Eduardo set up the occasion for her and Amor to patch things up. When Yna sees Amor in the table she backs out and apologizes to Eduardo that she is not ready yet to face Amor.

Yna feels bad about Eduardo setting her up with Amor. Eduardo explains he just wants her and Amor to reconcile. Yna apologizes that is just not ready to face Amor at this time. Yna is bothered with what happened. She asks Belen if not forgiving Amor makes her a bad person. Belen understands what Yna is going through and the hatred in her heart. But Belen says sooner or later Yna must find a way to forgive Amor because it is the right thing.

Claudia consults her lawyer regarding the lawsuit filed against her by the poor with Diego backing them up. The lawyer says the other party holds strong pieces of evidence that would surely bring them victory. If Claudia did not win the civil cases then it would be death penalty for her. On the other hand, Edelweiss is asking for the ten million pesos she gave to Claudia as payment to cause destruction against Amor because Claudia was not able to do anything. With a pending court case, a flat bank account and a son who despises her, Claudia is in deep malady.

It is Yna's first shooting day as segment host. Errol is so thankful to Angelo for giving him a big break as field reporter. When Angelo and Yna are walking along the corridor, they overhear some employees gossiping about them. They are bothered but just shun the idea to confront the rumormongers.

The night of the presscon arrives. Everybody gives positive remarks on Yna. A man comes up to Eduardo and Edelweiss and makes small talks. Suddenly Amor enters the room and this catches Eduardo's attention. Edelweiss notices this. Eduardo excuses himself and gives Amor a warm welcome. A long time has passed and Yna has not yet appeared. Everyone is getting uneasy. Angelo and Errol are so worried. They ask Belen and Flerida where Yna is but they said Yna and Cookie left the house really early. Amor holds Eduardo's hand out of anxiousness. Edelweiss sees this. She rises from her seat and makes a scene in front of the people. She creates a scandal by accusing Amor of stealing her husband.

Edelweiss has one drink too many causing her to create a scandal in front of the people. She accuses Amor of stealing her husband. Amor is stunned. Eduardo tries to appease Edelweiss. Out of embarrassment, Edelweiss storms away. She ends up in a bar, drowning herself in alcohol. It is getting very late and does not want to go home yet. A young man named Chollo watches the intoxicated woman and asks if he could join her. In just a few seconds Edelweiss falls into his arms unconscious. Chollo takes advantage of Edelweiss and brings her in a motel. In the morning Edelweiss is shocked to wake up beside a man. Chollo wears an evil grin and comments how he enjoyed the night with her in bed. Edelweiss is so ashamed of herself. She goes home and Eduardo welcomes her warmly. He is so worried about her. Edelweiss feels guilty so she goes straight to the room and avoids any conversation.

Angelo and Errol look for Yna. According to the police they would only start the search after 24 hours of the reported time of Yna抯 disappearance.

Manolo Zalameda is Claudia抯 father. He is a mentally sick old man since Claudia heartlessly threw him in the home for the aged. Manolo is always heard speaking as if he was campaigning in front of a crowd. He used to be a very influential man being the mayor of Puntaverde. The nurses in the institution are used to him already. When a nurse calls Puring抯 name, it catches Manolo抯 attention. He approaches Puring and utters the name 揚urificacion.

Edelweiss acts strange lately. When Chollo, the man she slept with the other night called, she drops the call and says Eduardo it is a wrong number.

Diego and the farmers are now waiting for the preliminary hearing. They have a strong chance to win the case against Claudia because they hold strong pieces of evidence. A man also proposes that his cousin could testify about the massacre that took place where Claudia was involved. Claudia calls for Diego. She tries to talk him out into dropping the case. Diego is already firm with his decision and she could not do anything about it. The next day, an FBI lieutenant appears in Claudia抯 house and invites her for questioning regarding Yna.

A nurse from the institution calls up Claudia and reports that Amor visited the place. She says Amor brought in an old woman named Puring. Claudia gets angry when the nurse mentions that Amor saw Manolo. She gives strict instruction that Amor must not see her father ever again.

Claudia asks Beabianca if is behind Yna抯 disappearance. Beabianca denies the accusation. However Claudia orders Maximus to search for Yna and to keep a close watch on Beabianca for she has inkling that Beabianca is doing something fishy.

Beabianca visits Amor and expresses sympathy with the loss of Yna. Betty Mae suspects Beabianca is responsible for Yna抯 disappearance for it happened just as when Beabianca showed presence. Amor does not take this. She believes Beabianca could not do such a thing.

Even if Errol treats Angelo as a friend, he still could not help but feel threatened and jealous whenever he hears Angelo say that he and Yna are not related. Angelo and Errol ask Belen if there is any progress or clues about Yna. Suddenly the phone rings and Belen picks it up. It is Cookie. Cookie seems okay. When he is about to talk to Belen Angelo grabs the phone. Cookie holds his words.

Angelo impatiently asks Cookie where Yna is. Cookie explains that they are just staying in his friend's house upon Yna's orders because she wants to stay away and be alone for the meantime to think things over. It turns out that a man is pointing a gun at Cookie and ordered him to say those things. Yna and Cookie are kidnapped. They are brought to a separate location so Cookie does not have any idea where Yna is

Angelo does not let go of asking Claudia if Simon is really his father. Claudia tries to sound convincing that his father is Eduardo. Angelo asks why he was already born in her seventh month of marriage with Eduardo. Claudia explains that he was a premature baby. Angelo does not buy this. He raises the thought that Claudia could have been pregnant even before she got married to Eduardo. Claudia keeps saying over and over that Simon is not his father. She does not know how to make Angelo believe anymore so to avoid answering him, she pretends to faint. Angelo and Coring rush her to the hospital. According to the doctor Claudia is in a critical condition. Angelo calls up Lia to come over the hospital right away. The doctor tells them that their mother has brain cancer. Lia is devastated. Eduardo arrives as soon as he found out. Despite Claudia's wickedness, the family is still saddened about the news. But they are not aware Claudia is only acting sick to get Angelo's sympathy. No one knows except Coring that she paid the doctor to pretend she is really sick.

Beabianca cheers up Amor. Amor could not ease up without seeing Yna personally. Beabianca explains that Yna is already old enough to handle herself. She invites Amor out to have a good time just like what they used to do. Amor agrees to go out with Beabianca and the night turn out fun. Beabianca expresses how she envies Yna for being the daughter of a wealthy woman, who for sure is getting whatever she wants with just a click of a finger. She mentions about having a difficult life in the States where she has to work and work to be able to survive and do things on her own.

Diego talks to one of the witnesses, Tomas, who would stand before the court to testify against Claudia. Years ago Claudia shot Tomas' wife and some other farmers and Tomas saw everything with his own eyes.

Edelweiss meets up with Chollo again. She begs to stay away from her. Chollo is persistent and tells Edelweiss he is mesmerized by her extraordinary beauty. Edelweiss is not aware that a person across their table is recording her encounter with Chollo.

When Claudia's family are all present in the hospital, she starts to wail how scared she is of dying and being alone. She begs Angelo not to leave her alone. The doctor tells the family that it is impossible for Claudia's treatment to be cured so all that is left for them to do is be there for her. When they left, Coring hands Claudia a trophy for being such a good actress into making everyone believe she is sick.

Bea Bianca asks Claudia if she has already started with their plan to kill Amor and Yna. Claudia replies that Bea Bianca must also work double time into getting Amor's wealth because Claudia could not make her move without money. Bea Bianca says not to worry because she has been bonding with Amor lately. And in fact, Bea Bianca mentions she and Amor have a dinner date in a restaurant called Ion.

Angelo calls up Claudia. He suddenly feels guilty for hating his mother and now he wants to make up for it. He invites her out for dinner. Claudia suggests they meet in Ion restaurant. Angelo arrives first at the restaurant. Amor and Bea Bianca are already there. They are surprised to see Angelo and same goes with him.

Angelo suspects Amor and Bea Bianca are up to something that is why they are in the same restaurant where he and Claudia would be. Amor explains it is just pure coincidence. Claudia plans not to show up in the restaurant so that Angelo would not suspect she has something to do with Amor and Bea Bianca. Angelo calls up Claudia and finds out from Lia that their mother has to be brought to the hospital because of unbearable pain in the head. Angelo stays with Claudia in the hospital. He takes the opportunity to ask Claudia again if Simon is his real father. Claudia denies this and insists Eduardo is his father. But she admits that Simon is the only man she loved and that he is so good to her, providing all her needs.

Since Yna is gone for days, Amor figures Belen and Flerida might not have anything to eat so she brings groceries for them. Belen does not accept it because for sure Yna would do the same thing, too. Amor insists. Suddenly the phone rings. It is Cookie. Amor grabs the phone and asks how Yna is doing. Cookie pretends to sound happy that Yna is enjoying the beach and the fresh air in the province. Guns are pointing at Cookie to keep him from saying any wrong information to Amor. Amor notices Cookie is crying but Cookie lies it is because of his colds.

The rating of TMC's TV program, Simply Jackie, is declining since Yna does not appear on the show. During the official meeting, one suggests to take away Yna's segment instead but Eduardo does not agree. Another proposes it might work out if they would guest a different host every week instead. Meanwhile Amor and Bea Bianca arrive in the middle of the meeting. An officer suggests Bea Bianca could make a good host.

Manolo calls Puring again. Puring asks why he knows her. Then Manolo asks her where his granddaughter, Clarissa, is.

Amor's detective reports that Bea Bianca is indeed James Powers' daughter and it was Mark who gave Bea Bianca the legal papers about her personality. So Amor invites Bea Bianca for some interrogation. Amor asks how she found out she was James Power's daughter and how she is related to Mark.

Amor says she already believes that Beabianca is really James Powers' daughter. Beabianca feels bad thinking Amor even made an investigation if she was really telling the truth.

Diego hires a lawyer to help Lourdes. He is really looking forward to start a family with her and Seraphin. On the day of the court hearing, Lourdes' lawyer pleads not guilty on the arraignment. But Lourdes interrupts him and says she is indeed guilty of an offense she committed against the government. Diego and Amor are shocked that Lourdes did such a thing. The police put handcuffs on Lourdes and locks her up again.

Eduardo mentions to Amor how he finds Edelweiss' behavior so strange. On the other hand, Edelweiss cries at night thinking of her sexual encounter with Chollo and how he is ruining her life. She pretends to be asleep when Eduardo enters the room. Eduardo caresses her and gives her a kiss. This gesture makes Edeleweiss feel even guiltier. The next day Claudia calls up Edelweiss and orders not to make her payback the ten million pesos or else she would squeal about Edelweiss' rendezvous with Chollo. Worse, Claudia is asking for ten million pesos more. Edelweiss has nothing to do but to comply with the request.

Claudia admits to Coring that Simon is really the father of Angelo. No other soul knows about this, not even Simon. However, Claudia still continues to be sick. Angelo and Lia spend a lot of time with her. Even Amor pities Claudia's state. She gives Claudia flowers as peace offering because she wants both of them to fix their dispute before Claudia dies. Claudia does not accept Amor's apology and swears she would bring this hatred in her grave.

Claudia sees Manolo in the institution. She treats her father cruelly and blames him for ruining her life. Manolo keeps asking where Clarissa is. Claudia is scared that Manolo might reveal some dark secrets about their family so she orders the nurses to lock him up in his room. Manolo also mentions Puring's name. Puring hears Manolo's cries. The blind woman wonders what they are doing to him. Claudia faces Puring and asks what she and Manolo are talking about. Puring does not have anything to say. She, too, wonders why Manolo knows her.

Errol tries to make acquaintance with Beabianca since they would now be working together. He also suggests they read their lines to warm up before the show starts. Beabianca haughtily reacts that she does not need it because she is very used to be in front of the camera. She compares herself superior to Yna who she claims has been lacking self-confidence ever since.
Amor has finally thought it over to transfer half of James Powers' possessions in Bea Bianca's name. Betty Mae is against the idea. Beabianca is not contented with this. She demands one-fourth more of Amor's own riches.

Amor reacts disapprovingly when Electrika demands for half of her wealth. Electrika explains that if were not for her father, James Powers, Amor would not have achieved such wealth. Electrika could feel Amor's hesitation so she pretends not to force the issue anymore. Personally she realizes Electrika has a point because if only James knew he had a daughter then all his riches would be transferred to her. Betty Mae disagrees. For her Amor deserves the riches because of how she suffered in James' hands.

Claudia misses Simon. She clutches his picture close to her heart and vows to bring Angelo, their son, to him when the right time comes. Suddenly Angelo enters. He is aware how much Claudia misses Simon and somehow he feels for his mother. When he is about to leave Claudia's place, he sees an address book and dials Simon's number. He tells Simon to come to the Philippines at once because Claudia is sick and misses him a lot.

How Lia wishes things would go back to normal for her and Jonathan. Jonathan encourages Lia that they would overcome God's test at the right time.

Coring is surprised when Claudia mentions that her father, Manolo, is still alive. Claudia is threatened for she feels Manolo has plans to reveal all her dark secrets. They are interrupted when Lia and Jonathan arrive. Claudia wants to speak to Jonathan in private. She asks the young man if he is ready to give Lia a good life because she does not want to die leaving her children without a good future. Jonathan vows to try hard to meet that expectation. But deep inside he is discouraged. He ponders on what Claudia said that he is no good for Lia.

Amor could not just easily give half of her riches and possessions to Electrika because she has partners who could get affected. Electrika doubts her. She feels Amor's main reason is because she is saving all her wealth for Yna.

The judge proclaims the verdict that Lourdes is guilty beyond unreasonable doubt. She is sentenced for 12-20 years in prison. Diego and Amor weep. The very next day Amor visits the General. She asks a favor from the General to convince the President to grant pardon for Lourdes. Since Amor has been a good business partner, he would consider the favor.

Claudia is very sure to kill Amor and Yna and she would make it appear that Electrika did the crime.

Edelweiss calls up one of the officers of TMC. She asks for twenty million pesos to be transferred to her account without the knowledge of Eduardo. The money is payment for Claudia to keep her mouth shut regarding Chollo. When the inventory is releases Eduardo is shocked to see a huge amount of debit expenses. Paul, one of the officers, has no choice but to tell the truth or he would be in trouble. He says it is Edelweiss who requested for the money just a week ago.

Simon calls up Claudia and mentions about her sickness. Claudia says it is just flu and nothing serious. Simon is still bothered. He would come to Manila whatever happens. On the other hand, Angelo admits to Errol that he wants to see Simon for two reasons: one is because of her mother's illness and second, because he wants to know the truth about his personality.

Eduardo asks Edelweiss why she withdrew twenty million pesos from TMC without his knowledge. Edelweiss reminds him that it is her money so she could do anything she wants. Eduardo points out that since she entrusted him the responsibility to be in charge of the company then he has the right to know what is going on. He knows Edelweiss has a problem and as a husband he wants her to open up. Eduardo shares this problem to Amor. He does not understand Edelweiss anymore. He often catches her crying, having hush-hush conversations on the phone and just recently pulled out a huge amount of money from the company.

Claudia confronts Angelo meekly, that he should not have told Simon about her illness. Despite this she is still thankful for Angelo's concern.

Edelweiss meets up with her friends in a fancy restaurant whom she has not seen for a long time. She gets shocked finding Chollo seated at the far end of the room. Coincidentally Amor is also having a business meeting in the same venue. Edelweiss gets tensed so she excuses herself to the restroom. Chollo confidently follows Edelweiss in the restroom and tries to kiss her. Edelweiss struggles free. At that moment, Amor enters the room and finds the two in such lewd act. Amor assumes Edelweiss is having an affair. She is so angry thinking Edelweiss is playing with fire. Chollo leaves right away. Edelweiss tries to convince Amor that the man is a stalker and she needs help. Amor does not believe her. She is still certain that Edelweiss is cheating on Eduardo.
Belen tells Angelo that Cookie called up and said Yna is fine. He said Yna would not be able to go to the phone for she was in the beach at that time. Angelo finds such action so different from Yna. He knows Yna very well that she would not allow her loved ones to worry about her.
Electrika informs Claudia that she would have her hands on Amor's riches very soon so Claudia must start working now on how to get rid of Amor and Yna. Claudia orders Maximus to make a close watch on Electrika.

Eduardo asks Angelo if he already forgave Claudia. Angelo makes it clear that he is doing his obligations as a son but he is still not sure in his heart if he could forgive Claudia, especially with what she did to Yna.

Eduardo and Amor have a business meeting. Amor is tempted to reveal the issue about Edelweiss. But she quickly changes her mind for Eduardo might despise Edelweiss for it. Amor's inherent kindness overrules her. When Eduardo got home, Edelweiss asks what he and Amor talked about. She is relieved that he does not know a thing. The next day Edelweiss meets up with Chollo to convince him to stay away from her. Chollo shows pictures of Edelweiss naked that he took when they spent the night together. He blackmails Edelweiss that if she did not accept him as her lover, he would post all the pictures in the TMC website.

Puring asks the nurse why she does not hear any sound from Manolo anymore. The nurse says that Manolo was already taken away.

Claudia shares her thought to Angelo that Electrika may have something to do with Yna's disappearance because the moment Electrika made her appearance then Yna vanishes.

Angelo goes to Electrika's house to check for himself if she really has her hands on Yna. Electrika denies it. She allows Angelo to search the entire house. Angelo does not find any trace of Yna.

Edelweiss tries to make up for her shortcomings as a wife. She cooks for Eduardo and apologizes for accusing him and Amor of having an affair. She realizes Amor is a good person after all. Eduardo promises they would go on a vacation to Europe as soon as all their problems are solved. Edelweiss meets up with Amor and thanks her for keeping quiet. She confesses about her one-night stand with Chollo and how she is scared to lose Eduardo once he found out. Amor promises to help.

Jonathan faces Claudia and professes his love for Lia. He is aware how Claudia despises him but he is ready to fight for their love.

Amor's men still do not find any signs of Yna.

Electrika invites Dr. Castillo, the physician who treated her when she was in the asylum. She wants the doctor to see her mentally healthy. Since Electrika is back on the limelight again with her new TV show that is rating pretty well, she knows rumors about her would surface so she wants to doctor to testify she is already cured.

Coring heard some tidbits from the gossipers in the salon that Electrika only asked one-half of Amor's wealth and not the whole of it as she was saying to Claudia. Claudia faces Electrika and demands for an explanation. Electrika makes it clear that she does not want Amor to get the wrong impression she only wants the wealth. Since Electrika turned down Amor's offer to give her 10% of her wealth, Claudia wants Electrika to take back her word. So that is what Electrika does.
The peasants of Puntaverde are ready to face Claudia in court. They are able to get an arraignment for the case. Claudia does not have enough money for this. Together with Angelo and her attorney, Claudia tries to convince the people to drop the case and have pity on her because she has cancer. The peasants do no care. All they want is justice for their loved ones who died in Claudia's hands. Angelo tries to talk to Diego into doing something but Diego is certain that he could not sway the people anymore.

Electrika enters her room and faces the mirror. She remembers when a package from Mark arrived and inside it were pieces of evidence proving she is James Powers' daughter. She even asked help from the state of Wyoming and the state of archives held proofs, too. She was devastated. If only she found out earlier then her mother would not have died of cold and hunger in the streets of New York. Now Electrika is ready for revenge. She vows to get every single penny from Amor because she thinks she deserve it. Electrika is also aware that she is not yet fully cured with her mental illness and never would be.

Cookie is still locked up in a room. He does not have any idea where Yna is, where he is and who the mastermind is behind all this. Suddenly Electrika barges cheerily in the room and gives Cookie a wicked grin. Cookie is shocked.

Electrika enters inside the room where Cookie is locked in. Cookie is shocked to find out Electrika is the mastermind. Electrika informs Cookie that she is now called Electrika Powers, the stepdaughter of Amor. Cookie figures she and Amor connived the kidnapping. Electrika is not aware that Maximus is spying on her.

Angelo tries to convince the peasants to drop the case against his mother. They do not want to because they want Claudia to pay for all the cruelty she caused them. A lot of their loved ones died in Claudia's hands.
Chollo does not quit pestering Edelweiss and forces her to meet up with him. Edelweiss calls up Amor and asks for help. They set up a plan. Chollo brings Edelweiss to a private room. Suddenly police barge inside and arrest him. At the police station, Chollo calls up his friend and informs about what happened. He swears to get back on Edelweiss. Amor and Edelweiss are beginning to establish a good friendship.

Crispin already found where Elizabeth is so he immediately informs Jonathan. Elizabeth spent her last days in the convent. She did not tell the nuns about her sickness until it was too late. Jonathan finds her mother in a coffin. How he regrets leaving her behind. Crispin is also hurt. He reminisces how Elizabeth let go of him for she did not want to be a burden in fulfilling his dreams of becoming a priest.

Claudia's gay cousin, Pepito, who took his life by suicide, used to have a lover who Pepito sent to law school. The man is now a lawyer. He hands Diego a couple of letters that Pepito kept. One of them is Claudia's letter to Simon dated more than 20 years ago. Inside the letter says Claudia wanted to meet up with Simon for she had very good news that he would surely love to hear. Diego talks to Attorney about the letter. He has a strong feeling that what Claudia wanted to tell Simon has something to do with Angelo's identity. At that same moment, Angelo enters the room.

Angelo hears what Diego and the lawyer are talking about. He demands to know what it is about his real personality. Diego replies that only Simon could answer that.

Electrika already signs the contract transferring a part of Amor's riches to her name. She is thrilled to tell the news to Claudia. Claudia is not so pleased with the news because Electrika promised to get all of Amor's riches. Electrika reminds Claudia never to underestimate her.

Claudia showers Angelo and Lia so much attention. She wants to make them feel that she is taking advantage of her remaining days before she meets her death. They notice Lia's silence. Lia mentions that Elizabeth just passed away. Claudia figures it would be best if she visited Elizabeth's wake for it would mean a lot to Lia. Angelo and Lia come along.

Amor is also present in Elizabeth's wake. A nun hands her a letter from Elizabeth. Inside it is a message for Amor to take custody of Jonathan.

Eduardo and Chammy notice the glow in Edelweiss' face. Edelweiss is now very happy that her marriage with Eduardo is already going smoothly. The couples call for a celebration. On the other hand, as what Chollo swore to do, he would not let Edelweiss get away with what she did to him. With the help of a friend, he posts all of Edelweiss' photos and video that were shot during their one-night stand in the TMC website. Then Chollo calls up Eduardo to inform him about this. Eduardo is horrified upon seeing the scandalous scene. He orders the company staff to keep the website from being viewed publicly.

Cookie begs Electrika's men to set him free but they just ignore him. When Cookie looks out the window, he spots two men who do not look familiar. The men are Maximus and his company. Cookie shouts for help. They enter the premises and try to find clues of Yna when suddenly Electrika's men catch them. Maximus and his friend are able to escape. They notify Claudia right away. Electrika hears about this so she goes straight to the hideout. By the time she gets there, Claudia, Angelo and company arrive, too. Claudia blames Electrika of lying that she has got nothing to do with Yna's disappearance.
