ada payless kat ampang point - tapi saya
rather rent ( saya ni jimat sikit sebab terlalu
banyak buku yang saya suka nak baca -- so
mostly saya rent - so cost membaca about rm5
- masa kat oversea memang pinjam kat library
weekly -- free and easier too -)
cuma will buy books yang memang saya nak simpan --

setuju I Robot movie disappointing tapi Bicentennial Man - Robin William not bad....generally I agree with u. most books when adapted to movies, tak best.
for some reasons (don't know why), I don't follow many other sci fi's authors. star trek pun tak minat sangat. i do read arthur c clarke but found the impact is not the same as asimov's |

Tak pernah baca Clive Barker - any recommended book for 1st timer?
Ender's Game - I'll look for it it nanti. Sekarang dalam proses nak pindah rumah so malas nak cari buku.
Current reading; fiction is Eldest (2nd book of Eragon Trilogy). Baru habis Barthimeus Trilogy (a genie with an attitude - interesting).
Other authors I read; Ludlum, Clavell, Grisham, S. King, Heinlein, Lee Child (just started), Forsyth, Archer etc..... |

eldest best jugak esp depiction of the elf's homes n eragon's training.
sepupu dia, memang jumpa tapi ada another character yang dia jumpa yang lagi best....towards the end
have not watched eragon the movie....tengok trailer cam tak best je. I love LOTR though.
thanks for the clavell's link...i love his works. My favourite is Taipan - read > 5 times. At one stage, I read it once every year for 3 consecutive years. |

for detective stories with a twist - try Asimov's Mysteries. I think he wrote the short stories in there due to show the flexibility of the sci-fi genre and if you love sci-fi and mysteries, the stories are wonderful. |

an interesting concept is the book titled 'gold' - asimov wrote a story abt adapting one of his books into sort of film.... menarik. |
