senah, was it your very first interview?don't worry...but i have some 'petua'. if you are really interested in that particular post and company you want them to know alot about you right? this ...
tengkiu 4 ur advise. u are right because during the interview, the 1st question they asked me is tell me about urself...but i don't know how to answer this type of question in the right way..usually i just tell my name, my age, i'm graduated from where, and in what course..that's all..i dont have anything else to share with them and sometimes i am blur and don't have any idea..did u have any idea what else should i tell them and how to make them to have good impression on me from the 1st question asked?

*applaud your determination
and well written -
just a couple of error tenses mostly -
was to
myself
didn't
correctly
where i graduated from
lemme see what should u say if they ask you about yourself -
- besides where you are from and all those u were saying
u can add --
- what your interest are
- what you like to see yourself in the future with
that career you applied for
- what motivate you
- your strengths --
trying to be positive about yourself -
and tell them you are a fast learner -
maybe others can add as well -
but those cover some of the question re: yourself i reckon -- |

actually you have to look into their eyes directly, to know whether they are still interested in the topic you r talking about.when explaining about yourself, you may share your vision, what u like that could benefit them in return.. |

[quote]SYDNEY: More than one-third of foreign students graduating fromAustralian universities, mainly Asians, have such poor English skillsthey should never have been admitted, research released on Mondayshowed.
A study by demographer Bob Birrell found that morethan 50 per cent of South Korean and Thai students did not havesufficient English to work professionally in Australia, along with morethan 43 per cent of Chinese graduates.
Some 17 per cent ofstudents from Singapore and India, where English is more widely spoken, also failed to reach the required level, Birrell found. Overall, 34 percent of the graduating foreign students offered permanent residencevisas in 2006 did not have competent English. Birrell, of Melbourne抯Monash University, said almost all the 12,000 graduates tested for thesurvey were from Asia because these students are the most likely toapply for permanent residency on completing their studies. However, hesaid that he believed the study to be representative of all foreignstudents, partly because Asia was a major source of fee-paying overseasstudents for Australian universities.
