pride and prejudice... jane austen...

this is the only austen's book that i can read again and again and again... i have many copies of this title... satu simpan kat kg... satu simpan kat my house... and e-book pun ada.....

2 other books... ermm... hard to make a choice here...

i would have to say grisham's runaway jury, and LOTR trilogy (if i have to pick only one of the book in trilogy, errr... i would have to say the second one, two towers, i think)..

Mak oooiii... too many to list down. but among my favs... meaning yg baca sampai tak hingat dunia

1) Paradise by Judith MacNaught
Ni sampai sekarang masih terbanyang-bayang Matt Farrell

2) LOTR by JRR Tolkien
Admittedly I only read the book after watching the movie tapi rasa menyesalnya tak baca dari dulu2 lagi. I loved it sampai berbulan-bulan dok buat research about that book and characters

3) All Harry Potter books but my fav is The Order Of The Phoenix

4) One Perfect Rose by Mary Jo Putney
I read this as soon as I received it in the post around noon until the next day. Tak tido langsung eventhough my final exams was only 2 days away.

4) Not A Penny More Not A Penny Less by Jeffrey Archer

5) The Eleventh Commandment by Jeffrey Archer

6) The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown
suka sangat the book sampai beli the illustrated version pulak

7) Gretzky: An Autobiography by Wayne Gretzky

Banyak lagi tapi rasa baik stop kat sini dulu...

To be fair perhaps I should  break up my life into 3 phases primary schooler, secondary schooler and adulthood.

Primary Schooler
Sure, I love Enid Blyton but later I moved on to  like certain genre which I found in Lobsang Rampa's books.
His books became a hit to me. I read all my dad's collection starting with The Third Eye. Later I still went on to read the odd ones not in his collection which I found in libraries.

Secondary Schooler
I was very much taken by Exodus by Leon Uris. My first thought was how could they love Jesus (Nabi Isa) so much and yet hated his people so much! Unfortunately I did not finish his Mila 18.

I was also crazy over Daphne du Maurier's books after reading Rebecca. Oh yes, even saw the film a few times ! It was an Oscar winner - Best Picture- in it's time. I went on to read Jamaica Inn, The Birds, My Cousin Rachel, The Frenchmen's Creek, In Loving Spirit , Rule Britannia, The Hungry Hills and some others which I have forgotten. The last one fascinated me so much as it told of a family over 5 generations! I could cry just thinking of it.

Adulthood
Beginning to prefer books that are more historical in nature. There are simply so many books that I love. But if I were  to choose just a couple I would say this book on Genghis Khan. I am yet to finish another book on the Mongol Art of War.(Gee, where indeed has that book disappeared!)

Another is a collection of 7 books on The Islamic Survey by various scholastic writers...............very enlightening.
